"Why is it shameful?"

Tang Xue Mei sat down back on the couch now that Leia was done with the dress, she still had some time to go home and rest before the party started.

"I had sex with my so called fiancé...when I’m married isn’t it shameful?"

Leia nodded and asked Tang Xue Mei to head home, she looked at her phone it was almost time for her to take her medicine anyways.

An Yu asked turning his face over to Tang Xue Mei who held the door slightly.

"Yes, I’m so tired, happy but tired.."

She felt a dizzy spell hit her, holding the door tightly, Tang Xue Mei couldn’t afford to take a step.

She knew if she did, it would be nothing but face first to the ground.

"Let me carry you.."

An Yu walked closer to Tang Xue Mei ready to pick her up but she still refused.

"It’s not considered cheating..if I carry you a sick, pregnant woman to her car. I’m your bodyguard after all.."

An Yu didn’t bother to ask for permission again and directly picked her up.

"You’re burning..."

An Yu could feel her warmness as he carried her into the elevator.

"I can’t go to the proposal party...can I?"

Tang Xue Mei chuckled lowly, she was going to miss an important moment in her friend life.

"No you can’t, you’re going to sit at home and recover diligently.."

Feng Shiyan raised his brows and he drove into the parking lot.

Ming Beicheng nodded his sources were never wrong and he had bought a ring from this exact place before.

"I’ve bought a ring here before..."

Feng Shiyan looked at Ming Beicheng hand, he didn’t see any signs of a ring in his hands neither did he look like someone that was married.

"It wasn’t for me, the woman I want to marry I’m not sure she’s ready for marriage, she still has her whole life ahead of her... being with me...."

As they approached the store, a doorman in a crimson uniform bowed slightly and opened the heavy glass door.

The interior of Red Roses was a vision of luxury - plush red carpets, crystal chandeliers, and display cases that seemed to float on beams of light.

A sales associate, impeccably dressed in a black suit with a red rose pin, approached them with a warm smile. "Welcome to Red Roses, gentlemen. How may I assist you today?"

Feng Shiyan cleared his throat. "We’re here to look at engagement rings," he said, his voice a mix of excitement and nervousness.

The associate’s smile widened. "Of course, please follow me to our private viewing room. We have an exceptional collection I’m sure you’ll find perfect for such a special occasion."

As they followed the associate, Ming Beicheng leaned in close to Shiyan. "From what I’m told," he whispered, "You should look for something elegant but not too flashy. Qin Mingyue appreciates subtlety."

The associate hinted at the assistant at the corner who immediately went to bring the snacks.

The associate returned to the private viewing room, carefully balancing three velvet-lined trays. With practiced grace, she set them down on the polished mahogany table before Feng Shiyan and Ming Beicheng.

"Gentlemen, I’ve selected some of our finest pieces for your consideration," she said, her voice low and respectful. "Each of these rings has its own unique story and significance."

Ming Beicheng nodded appreciatively, then pointed to the second tray. "And these?"

The associate smiled, moving to the next set. "These are our more intricate designs. Notice how each ring incorporates elements of nature." She picked up a stunning ring with a pear-shaped diamond surrounded by smaller stones arranged like petals. "This is our ’Blooming Love’ design. The central diamond represents the couple, while the surrounding stones symbolize the growth and flourishing of their relationship."

Feng Shiyan’s eyes widened at the beauty and meaning behind each piece. The associate then moved to the final tray, which held three rings that seemed to glow with an inner light.

She carefully lifted a ring that featured a brilliant round diamond encircled by smaller blue sapphires. "This is our ’Starry Night’ design. The central diamond represents the brightest star in one’s life - their beloved - while the sapphires represent the vast universe of possibilities that lie ahead in their journey together."
