My Creation Came to Life on an Island in Another World -
Chapter 27: First Contact with the Azure Kingdom
Chapter 27: First Contact with the Azure Kingdom
Watching the scene, Khan could only think,
Is she still alive?
With his eyes more focused on the situation, he could see she was still breathing—barely, her ribs making it hard for her to even breathe properly.
Honestly, this Luxian is a problem too...
Luxian didn’t wait and vanished from the arena again.
Is she really going to kill her!?
Disappearing from his place, Khan reappeared in front of Luxian in a blur, blocking her kick with his right leg. He didn’t even need to lift it off the ground because she had kicked too low.
Feeling the force of that blow, he realized she wasn’t holding back.
"You were going to kill her, weren’t you?"
She trembled slightly at the question, and Khan understood that was indeed her intention.
"Hm... I didn’t think you’d go against your word..."
Letting out a sigh of disappointment, he shifted his eyes from Luxian to Iris and continued,
"Iris, take care of her. She might really be a war lady."
Khan thought so simply because she wouldn’t die—not from just one strike.
The War Lady class never dies from a single attack, and if given time, the body recovers. That’s why Luxian attacked again—but there’s a one-day cooldown on that.
Alright, with all that done, now I have to find Alice... but before that...
Turning his eyes back to Luxian, he said,
"Don’t break your word again..."
Luxian shuddered and knelt down.
"Forgive me, it won’t happen again."
Azathoth, who had been watching, chimed in,
"Oh~ sister? Already causing trouble? Do you want one of the old punishments again?"
"N-No! Anything but that! I’ve already apologized, so it’s fine, right?"
"Yes... there’s no need to take it further."
Seeing that Azathoth had things under control, Khan continued,
"Since everything’s settled, I’ll go check on Alice."
No one objected, so Khan simply walked away.
As he walked down the corridor, Khan sensed a presence.
It’s still strange, but I can clearly feel everyone I created... at least within a certain area.
"Looks like I don’t need to come to you..."
Saying this to himself, Khan’s shadow stretched out and formed the body of a woman with several visible scars.
Now walking beside him was Alice.
"So... is everything ready?"
"Yes, nya~"
Khan continued while thinking,
Hm... that was quick... I didn’t expect it, but I’m worried that she’ll go too...
With that concern in mind, Khan spoke,
"You can send them, and you... just receive the information. Don’t show up."
That should make it clear I don’t want her going...
"Yes, I’ll do as you order, nya~" she moved her ears into a more focused posture.
Khan noticed Alice’s ear movement.
Cat ears are difficult... I want to touch her... but it might be bad if I don’t stop afterward...
While he calmed himself down, Alice sank into his shadow and vanished.
I managed to hold back...
Letting out a sigh in the corridor, Khan continued on his way, now heading toward his workroom.

In the Azure Kingdom, the island was already being talked about. The first to see it were a well-known group of adventurers called the Blue Dragon Claws. They reported it to the guild, which then sent another group to confirm it was real.
Now, in a room full of nobles and with the king absent, a heated discussion unfolded.
"I suggest we immediately begin exploration of that place," said a man who barely fit in his clothes due to his large belly.
"Are you insane? Do you think this is some kind of joke?" said another, adjusting his perfectly groomed mustache.
"Then what else should we do?"
"Nothing for now. We don’t even know if there’s intelligent life there."
"Absurd! It’s clearly just a dungeon," another person cut in.
This sparked a round of arguments until a trumpet blared.
"Attention! The Regent Prince, Yuri Ocena de Azure, is entering!" a knight near the door shouted.
Everyone straightened up as the door opened. Prince Yuri entered the room, dressed in a fine outfit with several medals pinned to it. His hair was dark blue, his eyes gray, and he looked like someone who had just turned eighteen.
An old, well-dressed man in mostly white followed him—his advisor, it seemed.
Yuri walked across the now-silent hall and sat on the king’s throne.
Looking down at them all, the noble with the perfect mustache spoke,
"I welcome you, Your Highness."
Looking at the man, Yuri replied,
"Thank you, but could we get straight to the point?"
He didn’t want to be there, so he preferred to resolve it quickly.
"Y-Yes, as you wish, Your Highness." After a brief pause, he continued, "We’d like to know your stance on the island that appeared in the sky."
Yuri leaned back on the throne and thought for a moment.
"Has it been confirmed?"
"We still only have reports from the guild. As Your Highness may know, a group of adventurers spotted the island during a mission."
"Hm... is the island a dungeon? Like the one found in Netus?"
"We still can’t confirm that... I apologize, Your Highness," the man bowed slightly.
"Apology accepted."
To everyone present, he seemed like a kind prince, but inside...
So why waste my time? Why not send a nearby team? This is what happens when old men hold power...
The prince had deep prejudice against the aging nobles who served Azure.
"So, when do you intend to send someone?"
"Your Highness, that’s what I was telling this stubborn man," said the noble who barely fit his clothes.
"And what were you saying?" Yuri narrowed his eyes at him.
"I said it would be a good idea to explore the island. It appears to be constantly moving, Your Highness, so I fear we may have little time."
"What do you say, Chief Advisor?" the prince asked the old man.
The advisor stroked his long white beard, thinking, then replied,
"I believe it would be risky for us to get involved, but if we’re going to take that risk, I suggest using the guild. We can’t afford to risk military strength on an expedition like this."
Yuri took that advice seriously. He’d known the old man long enough and thought,
That actually makes sense. Engracia is already on the move, and using our military now would be foolish. If it’s really a dungeon, we can try to claim a portion of it.
"You’ve convinced me..." Yuri said to the old man and then raised his voice, "Tell the guilds to send explorers. We’ll offer a reward to those who return with information."
With that order, he told everyone to return to their duties.
"Tell me, geezer, do you think this appearance is the same as the one in Engracia?"
"I can’t say for sure, Your Majesty."
"I see..."
As the meeting ended, a shadow slipped out from behind the throne, unseen by anyone.
---
The guild was celebrating the discovery. It meant a new place to explore—potentially very profitable. Amidst the party, a group called the Blue Dragon Claws raised a toast—well, at least one of them did...
"That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Can’t believe we’re responsible for one of the biggest discoveries this year," shouted a drunk young man with red hair.
"HAHAHA, yeah, congrats on the find, my friend!" a big bald muscular man laughed along with him.
"For real... every time he drinks, he doesn’t even recognize us anymore. Celebrating with strangers..." a short half-elf girl muttered with a sigh.
"Typical Mark. I don’t know why you still care~" said a curvy woman beside the half-elf.
A lizardman with a deep voice spoke up,
"I don’t even know why he’s still our leader..."
The woman rolled her eyes and replied playfully,
"Don’t be boring, Norkim~. He’s young, let him have fun."
Norkim just sighed and walked off with his drink.
"So, little Erin, what about you?~ Gonna enjoy the night too?"
"I don’t drink..." Erin replied with a pout.
"That’s how you’ll end up with an old soul~"
Crossing her arms and looking away, Erin asked,
"And what does it mean to have a young soul? Sleeping with a bunch of men?"
"Ara~, someone’s attacking me," she placed a hand on Erin’s head, "That’s not it. I just want you to enjoy moments like this."
"Honestly, I don’t even know if we should be celebrating... that island felt way too weird, and the way we found it..."
"Uhm... when you put it like that, yeah, today’s events were strange... but it is what it is."
She removed her hand and went to get more drinks from the counter.
Erin stayed behind, thinking, one hand on her chin, her ears drooping.
The events of today didn’t feel natural...
A small shadow slipped from Erin’s feet, unnoticed as she stayed deep in thought.
---
In a well-hidden part of the island, a woman with catlike ears sat in an armchair while her subordinates kneeled before her.
She said nothing, but they understood their role.
"We’ve returned with information and have finished guiding some adventurers to the island, Matriarch."
"Proceed." Alice ordered, her voice free of any stuttering or "nyas".
"Yes! It seems the Azure Kingdom is planning to send adventurers to the island. As for the group, they only have vague suspicions about the events."
"Good. Anything else?"
"Nothing worth your attention, Matriarch."
"Return to your duties. I’ll contact the Creator."
"YES!" they all responded at once and vanished.
Alice sat in silence for a while before muttering to herself, her eyes glowing in the dark,
"Not much info... but at least I have an excuse to spend time with Khan..."
Finishing her whisper, she sank into the armchair and disappeared into the shadows.
