Sara looked at the grand estate of the Legends and blinked. Her gaze shifted to Alex with many questions, but she asked none, believing he would make her understand why they were here all of a sudden.

"You will be fine," he smiled at her. His gaze was reassuring. "If you don’t want to meet him yet, we can always come by another time," he said as he could not read the expression in her eyes right now.

"It’s fine," Sara said. Her eyes returned to the entrance of the estate. She had never thought that she would be visiting this place so soon, but she couldn’t say no to this. "I just realized that I don’t have anything on me to give."

"You have nothing to worry about. He just wants to meet you," he took her hand and intertwined their fingers. "If you feel uncomfortable, you just have let me know, and we’ll leave immediately.

"Okay," she agreed. Although it was sudden, she had agreed to come. They were on their way back to Opulence Oaks when Alex got a call from Nicholas, who somehow managed to know that they visited the registry.

"Come on," Alex said, standing on her side of the door as he held it open from her with his hand out for her to take.

"Thank you," Sara gave a half smile as she took his hand and he led her inside.

The side was as grand as she expected it, leaving her in awe. Opulence was a magnificent place, with more extravagance than this, but that had a modern touch to its architectural design. But this, although with a modern touch, that old and comfortable design was there but didn’t lack in its beauty.

"Welcome, Young Master, and Madam," Albert said with a polite smile.

Sara’s grip on Alex’s hand tightened, but she returned his smile. "Thank you."

Alex placed his other on her own while nodding at the aged butler.

"Your grandfather is waiting for you in the garden. Please, follow me."

Sara took a deep breath before taking her steps forward. She felt Alex caress the back of her hand, it’s was soothing but didn’t completely take way the nervousness that she felt.

As the stepped into the garden, Nicholas turned facing them, he had a smile in his face as his eyes found Sara. The ciuoked stopped and looked at Nicholas, whose eyes seemed to sparkle jusy seeing them alone.

Is he so happy to see her? Or was he just happy to see his grandson married? Sara couldn’t understand the happiness.

"Grandfather," Alex said as they resumed their steps towards him.

"Elder Legend," Sara greeted. Although she still felt nervous meeting him for the first time, the warmth radiating from him put her at ease.

"You are finally here," Nicholas said as he took Sara’s hand and guided to a chair opposite his own.

"Thank you so much," Sara said. It fekt awkward to have an elder like him attending to her like this.

Alex pulled a chair beside her and sat down. He gave a reassuring nod and a look of understanding, silently telling her not to worry.

"I hope you don’t mine my sudden summon? I just couldn’t wait to meet you...properly," Nicholas began. He looked between the two, and his gaze softened even more. It reminded him of the past, back when they were still children. Who would have thought that puppy love of back then would progress to this?

"No, not at all. I did accept your invitation, and it is quite an honor to meet you," Sara said. Nicholas was noy how she imagined him to be. People often talked about his cold and indifferent nature as well as his aloofness, but the man before her was a bundle of joy filled with warmth and a welcoming presence. Quite down to earth, too. "Alex told of your previous visit, I am sorry that I couldn’t entertain you then."

"You don’t have to apologize for that. He knew you were noy in a state to entertain but stoll chose to come," Alex said, glaring accusingky at Nicholas, who shrugged, accepting his blame without protest.

"I was worried about my Granddaughter-in-law. What’s wrong with cheking on her when ill?" He said without an ounce of shame.

"That was very lovely of you, sir. I appreciate you care," Sara saidans hit Alex leg under the table when he snorted.

"What?" He whined.

Sara ignored himand looked the other way.

Nicholas watched them like and could not help the warmth spread across his heart. If only Julliette was still Alice, she would surely love Sara as much as the did.

Meanwhile, at the Romanov residence,

Sandra and Anne were already preparing for the evening all the whime trying to reach out to their friends who only seem interested in making them worry.

"Sounds like something good happened," Sandra said sticking to positive side. Big news could be anything. Good or bad.

"I hope so," Anne said, doubtful buy held on to a glimmer of hope.

Sandra phone pinged with a new message. She Stared at the lit screen hesitant to check and be disappointed again thinking it would be from their other friend.

"Just check it. It won’t hurt anyone,’ Amne urged her.

Reluctantly, Sandra reached for it and to her surprise it was from Jessa. "Oh... it’s Jessa," he eyes lit up while Anne drew even closer. "...And aheis bringing along with her two extras."

"So unlike Jessa," Anne muttered, re-reading the message again. "Do you think it’s s a boyfriend?"

"Two people, not one. Jessa does not y have a heram," Sandra said ,busting Anne’s bubble even though she was tempted to think in that direction too.
