Silas’s POV

After that, Lysander fell asleep in my room. I didn’t know why, but I felt like lavender had been scattered all over my house. The scent was so nice and refreshing.

I was sitting on the sofa when the doorbell rang. Hearing it, I stood up and opened the door. When I did, I saw Shine standing in front of me.

"Morning, Silas."

"Morning, come in."

Shine stepped inside, but he kept looking around the house as if searching for something.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Oh... No, nothing happened. I was just checking... Lysander left, right?"

"No, he didn’t leave. He’s still sleeping inside."

As soon as I said that, Shine started glaring at the guest room. I guess he assumed Lysander was sleeping there, but in reality, he was in my bedroom.

"Leave that aside. Tell me, do I have any schedules today?" I asked.

"Yes, you have acting lessons and a brand shoot. That’s all for today."

A brand shoot? That was the first time I was hearing about it. As for acting lessons, I think they’ll be helpful since my acting isn’t that great.

After waiting for about thirty minutes, I went inside the bedroom.

Lysander was still sleeping soundly, so I walked toward him and tapped his hand.

"Lysander, wake up now. I have to leave."

Hearing my voice, Lysander slightly opened his eyes and glanced at me.

"Silas, my babe... did you come here to wake me up?" he said with a sleepy smile.

"Lysander, wake up. I have a shoot today."

He ended up leaving with me, and the two of us headed to the company.

Shine was driving while Lysander and I sat in the back seat. After a short ride, we arrived, but just then, Lysander received a call.

As we stepped inside, everyone greeted us.

"Shine, what is this shoot about...? I should’ve asked earlier, shouldn’t I?"

"It’s for luxury watches. And don’t worry, you can ask me anything whenever you want. The photographer is Jack."

"Oh? Is he famous?"

"Yeah, he’s one of the most well-known photographers in the industry. Whoever works with him gets recognized because his photos have a unique charm."

To be honest, I had never heard of this photographer before. This was my first time hearing Jack’s name, so I couldn’t say for sure whether working with him would be great or not.

Just then, a man approached me. He had black, silky hair, which he had tied into a slightly messy ponytail that somehow looked good on him. Since he was a Beta, he could shoot with anyone without worrying about pheromones.

"Hello, you must be Silas, right?"

I nodded and stretched out my hand for a handshake. "Hello, my name is Silas. Nice to meet you."

"Aww, such a cute name for such a cute and adorable face. You totally look like an angel right now."

"Haha... I’m just average," I said.

"What are you saying, Silas? Your beauty is beyond limits!" Shine immediately added.

"Yes, your manager is telling the truth," Jack agreed.

I smiled at their words. After that, I changed into my outfits for the photoshoot.

The shoot went great. The photographer guided me with poses, but I also had my own natural talent.

Once the shoot ended, we left the studio. Jack gave me his personal number, and we even followed each other on Stargram.

Just like that, the days passed, and finally, the day of the party arrived.

The theme was black suits. Jeren had sent me a black suit a day before the party, and it looked really nice. Just then, Damon also sent me a suit, saying it matched the party’s dress code.

I didn’t expect Damon to send me one too. But since Jeren had already sent me a suit, I had decided to wear his.

On the night of the party, I got a message from Jeren saying he was coming to pick me up. Since managers weren’t allowed at the party, I gave Shine a day off.

After getting ready, I sat on the sofa, waiting. Soon, I received another message from Jeren—he had arrived and was waiting for me in the lobby.

I quickly got up and headed down. When I reached the lobby, I saw Jeren standing outside his car, waiting for me. But then I noticed something strange—he was wearing the same suit as me.

"Mr. Jeren, what is this? Why are our suits the same?"

"Because we’re going together, that’s why. And it’s not a bad thing to wear matching suits, right?" Jeren replied casually.

"Well, it’s not a bad thing... but it still feels a little weird."

Just then, another car sped toward us and came to a sudden stop beside me. The door swung open, and Damon stepped out—shocking me.

"Mr. Damon, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"What do you mean by that? Of course, I’m here to pick you up for the party. But... what is Mr. Jeren doing here?"

Before I could answer, Jeren stepped forward and stood in front of me.

"What a coincidence. I’m also here to pick him up for the party," Jeren said, his tone calm yet firm.

Damon’s eyes narrowed. "Wait... why are you two wearing matching suits? And Silas, why aren’t you wearing the suit I sent you?"

Hearing his question, I looked around awkwardly.

"Silas, answer me."

Jeren scoffed. "Damon, talk to me if you have any questions. Silas won’t be answering you now because we’re already running late."

Man... the atmosphere suddenly became suffocating.

Then, out of nowhere, Damon spoke again.

"Silas, decide. Who do you really want to go with?Me or him? "

He said it while glaring at Jeren.
