Chapter 64: teaching lesson to ciel
Silas’s POV
"What the hell is happening here?"
As I heard the voice, I turned my head back and saw all the members from the audition room had come out, watching me like I was bullying someone weak.
But I didn’t care what they thought. Then the security arrived and helped Ciel stand up.
Man, just two slaps and one push, and he couldn’t even get up? Just lying there, crying like a child. What a useless trick. He really is weak—what else can I even say?
The security helped him stand, and immediately, everyone turned to me with angry expressions.
"Look at him! He looks innocent but is bullying someone much weaker than him. We shouldn’t have let this Beta come here," one of the members said.
"A person like him doesn’t deserve to be in the industry," another added.
Like, when everyone is gossiping, why would he keep quiet? Of course, he’ll also join the gossip... Bunch of idiots.
And yeah, talk all you want. It’s not like I care what you say about me. Everyone was looking at me with disgusted expressions, but I had a smile on my face.
While smiling, I remembered Theron—how he smirked and mocked his enemies like an idiot, getting them all worked up before beating them to a pulp.
And my reason for smiling? Simple. I was satisfied seeing Ciel in pain. In fact, now I regret only slapping him twice. I should have slapped him at least fifty times. Even that wouldn’t have been enough.
As the security was about to take Ciel to the hospital—because now he was panting while crying, his whole face red, snot dripping from his nose—I couldn’t help but think: Honestly, his whole face looks messed up.
And the only thing I could say for sure was— "Eww."
Just then, a man stepped out from the audition room. He was middle-aged, with blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, broad shoulders, and a well-built body. He looked handsome—no doubt about it.
If I had been an Alpha, I’m sure I would have looked like that man. After all, he had the same blonde hair and blue eyes as me. Guess people really do look alike sometimes.
As the man came out, he walked straight to Ciel and grabbed his hands.
"Hey, are you okay? How are you feeling? Where does it hurt?"
Even after being asked a few questions, Ciel didn’t respond—too busy crying.
Then, the man turned to me.
"You! Why did you hit him?"
He stepped closer, but I wasn’t the type to back down out of fear. I stood my ground, looking straight into his eyes. But as he got closer, his eyes suddenly widened.
"Wait... you’re an Omega?!"
"Yes, I am. Is there a problem?"
His tone changed from cold to soft in an instant.
"Sweety, why did you fight with your friend? You both are Omegas. You know that, right?"
Like I don’t already know I’m an Omega. And why did his attitude change as soon as he realized that?
"Not talking? Then it must be a personal grudge, I guess. But you hit him in my company, so take him to the hospital right now," the man said.
I quickly glanced at him, raising an eyebrow.
"Pardon?"
"Take him to the hospital. You hit him, not us, so why should we take him?"
I folded my arms across my chest, glancing at Ciel before saying anything.
"Then let him die. If he dies, all the problems will die with him."
"Silas... didn’t you hear what I just said?"
Just then, Nekol came up to me and whispered, "Just take him to the hospital. It’s not like they’re asking you to treat his wounds."
As I was listening to Nekol, the man added, "No need to overthink. When needed, even help your enemy—that’s what the Moon Goddess says."
I really didn’t want to take Ciel, but since Nekol insisted, I grabbed his hand and dragged him with me. Nekol drove, and we reached the hospital.
"Hey, come out." I dragged Ciel out of the car.
As we entered, I saw two people standing by the elevator.
"Oh, shit. So many people are waiting for the lift—we won’t even get a chance to get in. Let’s take the stairs." I suggested and pulled Ciel along.
He was so exhausted he couldn’t even talk, just panting while walking. Once we reached the 10th floor, I threw Ciel into the room where the doctors were already waiting.
Then, I turned around and took the stairs back down.
As I was descending, I got a notification—someone had liked my post and left a comment on Stargram. I was looking at my phone, too distracted to notice someone coming toward me.
And then—BAM!
I bumped into someone.
I barely realized what had happened when I saw that person rolling down the entire staircase, tumbling all the way to the first floor before hitting the ground with a loud thud.
I quickly ran down to help. It was my fault for bumping into him and making him fall. But as I reached him, I noticed—white hair, dusky skin...
Wait.
A sense of familiarity washed over me.
Then, that guy looked up at me—his eyes filled with rage.
It was Kael.
Damon’s brother.
What was he doing here? Why did I have to bump into him of all people?
"YOU! You were planning to kill me, weren’t you?!" Kael shouted in anger, glaring at me.
I rolled my eyes. "Why would I want to kill you? Don’t be childish."
Still, just to show false pity, I extended my hand to help him up. And, of course, he took it and stood up.
"Take me to the doctor right now!" he demanded.
I scoffed. "Why would I? If you really want to go, then go by yourself."
"Do you really not realize that it’s your fúcking mistake here?"
My mistake? What is he even talking about? If he didn’t want to fall, he should have paid attention while walking.
