Chapter 134: Lupin pack - 29
The Moonshadow Realm is home to the world’s largest temple of the Moon Goddess. Only those who worship her and dedicate themselves to the temple live here, along with their families and friends. All high priests are like kings in this realm.
Even though it’s smaller than other packs, no one dares to call it a pack because the temple itself has declared that this place is the Moonshadow Realm, not a pack.
It is said that the Moon Goddess herself protects this sacred land. She gives oracles and guides her children.
The high-ranking priests are like saints—they can heal people, erase their sorrows, and perform miracles. For over a hundred years, the Moonshadow Realm has been growing stronger, and no pack dares to challenge them.
Some tried, but in the end, those packs were destroyed—without even a war. It was a warning to everyone: whoever dares to defy them will meet the same fate.

Inside the Moonshadow Realm Temple, a dark room was shrouded in shadows. In that darkness, a man knelt, deep in prayer.
Suddenly, the door creaked open. As soon as the light from outside spilled into the room, the man glanced at the entrance. Someone stepped inside and switched on the light.
"Do you have business with me? Is that why you came so urgently?" the man asked in a gentle voice.
The person standing in front of him was panting, their gaze shifting around uneasily.
"Sorry... we failed to kill them."
The moment those words left the person’s mouth, the man’s expression darkened. He grabbed a nearby lamp and hurled it at them.
"How?! Did you do exactly as I ordered?"
The person flinched, sweat forming on their forehead as they faced the man’s chilling stare.
"Y-Yes! We caused their ambulance accident, but somehow, they all survived... Now, they’re in the hospital for checkups."
"Great. Then bring that kid to me at any cost! I can’t wait any longer—it’s been more than a hundred years since I last saw him with my own eyes."
The man suddenly stopped speaking and glared at the person before him.
"I will take my leave now and inform our men of your orders," the person said hurriedly before leaving, closing the door behind them.
The man remained silent for a moment, then smirked darkly.
’How many times do you think you can slip through my fingers? No matter how tightly those bastards guard you... you will be mine. I’ll kill them this time too.’
He stepped out of the room, walking through the dimly lit corridors. His long black priest gown trailed behind
him, brushing against the cold stone floor. His black collar seemed to shimmer, turning almost white as he walked.
Then, without a sound, his figure dissolved into a thick fog—vanishing into the shadows of the corridor.
At that moment, the man appeared outside the temple. The grand structure stood in the heart of a dense forest, its surroundings eerily silent.
"If those jerks fail to bring you to me this time too... then I’ll come to you myself, my love. I can still remember the softness of your skin... and that rage in your eyes—how you used to despise me. But in this life, you’ve become such a softie."
Krivan, the current high priest, was not born into this role. In his childhood, the temple’s people forcefully took him, dragging him into the temple to shape him into a priest. At that time, the temple was short on priests, and no one was willing to join on their own.
After bringing Krivan here, they treated him cruelly—he was just a child, yet they beat him, bullied him, and broke him every single day.
Until one day, he met another boy—someone in an even more pitiful situation than his own. That boy was Silas.
By chance, Silas saw Krivan crying in a corner. Their situations were eerily similar, and perhaps because of that, they formed a bond. They became friends.
Just for Krivan, Silas would visit the temple every day. They would sit together and share everything that had happened to them the day before, as if clinging to the only warmth left in their lives.
Even though Krivan was an Alpha, he couldn’t control his pheromones. Because of this, he received even more hatred from the Omegas. But Silas never complained about Krivan’s pheromones.
Krivan always thought that Silas was enduring it because they were friends. But when he finally asked, he discovered something shocking—Silas couldn’t feel Alpha pheromones at all.
Hearing that, Krivan felt both happy and sad. But everything changed when he learned that Silas was already engaged to the crown prince of their pack.
When Krivan found out, he tried to act normal, and Silas didn’t seem to notice anything. But inside, Krivan felt as if his entire world had collapsed. That same night, he had a dream—a dream of his past life.
The next day, Silas came to the temple with Ciel. Krivan, wanting to make Silas jealous, decided to befriend Ciel, hoping to see a reaction from Silas.
But after that day... Silas never came to the temple again.
Krivan used to wait every day, but Silas never came. Instead, Ciel continued to visit. But Krivan eventually broke off his friendship with Ciel.
From that moment on, he devoted himself entirely to becoming a high priest—or rather, a dark high priest.
For years, Krivan mastered dark magic, all for one purpose—to make Silas his. And he would do anything to achieve that.
The temple was secretly using black magic, but no one knew—because those who did were no longer alive.
Anyone who dared to oppose it was eliminated by Krivan.
"Ha ha ha ha... You are mine. Only mine."
Krivan was completely obsessed—he wanted to possess Silas.
That’s why he made his move.
But Silas is the type of person no one can possess.
Krivan, however, had yet to see Silas’s true personality—because Silas had always been gentle with him, treating him as a friend.
But that would soon change.
