"Theron, protect Lysander first, and I will handle them."

Theron bro was standing in front of me, shielding me.

I was shocked to see those wolves surrounding us—like, what the hell is happening right now?

And as soon as Damon bro handed his glasses to Theron bro, I knew he was going to fight.

Because he only removes his glasses when he’s really about to kill someone.

But fighting these wolves... I don’t think it’s a wise choice. In this battle, we’ll suffer more losses.

And when I heard Damon bro giving orders to Theron, then stepping forward—

And then he started running. Seeing him charge toward the wolves, my heart skipped a beat.

All the wolves’ attention shifted to him as well. But when I saw him shift, my eyes widened, and my jaw almost dropped.

His entire fur was black, and his eyes were also black. Just from his look, he radiated a deathly aura. Those wolves looked like mere cubs in front of him because Damon bro was much bigger than them—and even bigger than me.

It was a piece of cake for him. He charged forward, standing alone against so many wolves, yet he still won.

And as soon as he was done, he quickly shifted back and took steps toward us.

"I was cool, wasn’t I? What do you both think?"

Of course, Damon bro was incredibly cool—he was the most powerful person in my eyes.

"Yeah, you were looking damn cool, Damon," Theron bro replied.

As soon as he reached us, I stepped ahead of Theron bro and grabbed Damon bro’s hand excitedly.

"Mr. Damon, how did you do that? Do you have a special ability because you’re the next king of our pack?"

"Lysander, we four brothers have this ability. It’s not just me—you have it too."

I couldn’t believe my ears. What did I just hear? I wasn’t expecting this at all. I thought he was the only one with this special ability.

I closed my eyes and tried to shift, and to my amazement, I actually did it! I was so happy that I couldn’t even put it into words.

My wolf form was truly beautiful. My fur was a light shade of brown, and it shimmered under the light.

I quickly shifted back, but my heart was literally dancing inside my chest.

And then it hit me—when we encountered these wolves here at the airport, that meant Silas must have encountered them too.

Who knows... that wolf might have hurt Silas!

After scanning the surroundings, we stepped forward cuz we were unsure what we might encounter next?

And this was all Damon bro’s fault—if he hadn’t sent Silas into this pack, none of this would have happened.

If something really happened to Silas... then things were going to get serious.

Because I’m pretty serious about Silas, and brother sent him far away into another pack. Even if this pack is under our influence, I don’t think his decision was right.

We have no idea what kind of people are lurking around in this pack.

And on top of that, Silas is just an Omega—an innocent Omega.

After talking, Brother Damon explained many things to me about our shifting and told me that only we have this special ability.

Well, hearing that, I already started to feel special.

When we stepped out of the airport, we saw that the roads were just as empty as the airport. And now I understood—it was because of those wolves. That must be the same reason why the roads were deserted too.

"Fúck, there’s no signal here?"

Hearing Brother Damon, I quickly took out my phone to check. But I had no signal either.

Just then, we saw military buses approaching. Thank goodness I was wearing a mask—no one would recognize me. I knew that people from every pack watched me... they were my fans.

As the military buses passed by, they suddenly stopped. A man stepped out, and I instantly knew who he was.

He was the king of the Lupin Pack.

As soon as the man stepped out, he rushed toward Brother Damon. His face was pale, and he was sweating.

But why was he this nervous upon seeing Brother Damon? It was as if he had done something wrong.

"Did your brother already tell you everything?"

The moment those words left the man’s mouth, the three of us exchanged glances.

"What do you mean? Is my brother in this pack?" Damon bro asked, his voice sharp.

"Y-Yes, Prince Kael is here. I thought he was the one who told you..."

"Really? Then you must know where he is, right? Take us to him. And explain to me on the way what the hell is happening here."

Brother Damon’s cold voice made the man even more anxious. He calmly adjusted his glasses before getting into the vehicle.

Since there was no network, Damon bro tried to call our cars, but it was useless. We had no choice but to take help from this man.

As we sat inside the bus, I noticed that the man’s son was already seated.

And when the man finally explained everything... my eyes widened in shock.

Damon bro was furious—I could tell just by looking at his face. His eyes were glaring at that man, burning with anger.

"We will officially talk after all this," Damon bro said coldly.

The man looked shocked.

A while later, they dropped us off at the hospital. That man said he had to leave—he needed to check if the research lab had found anything to cure those wolves.

While questioning him, we discovered that Silas was also here with Kael. Even though the man didn’t know Silas’s name, he perfectly described his appearance.

And then he mentioned something even more shocking—there was a kid with them.

Kael’s kid.
