Silas’s POV

"What are you shouting for? Do you think I would be scared just because you’re yelling?"

I said while glaring at him. And just then, I saw Kael sigh.

"Let’s stop here."

Huh? What happened all of a sudden? He’s the one saying to stop now? Wow. That’s unexpected.

"Thank God you both stopped," Shine sighed.

"I was starting to get a headache. And we don’t have any groceries left in the kitchen... especially the main ingredient—we don’t have any chicken."

So soon, Shine is already telling us that we don’t have chicken for fried chicken.

"So, what now?" I asked.

"Let’s eat out. I’ve searched for a few places, and they’re quite famous for their food, so let’s go there," Shine suggested.

Hearing that, I shook my head. "No, we’ll get the food packed and eat at home. I want to eat at home."

We got ready and were about to leave when Kael made some comment about me. When I was about to reply, he suddenly looked away.

We got into the car—Shine sat in the front passenger seat beside the driver, and I ended up in the backseat with Kael.

When we arrived and stepped out of the car, I saw bars, clubs, and famous restaurants all around.

There were also plenty of food stalls, but the lines at the food shops were insanely long. People were clearly crazy about the food here.

"Kael, Silas, wait here for me. I’ll go stand in line because I’m sure the food must be delicious if so many people are waiting," Shine said.

I tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen and went ahead, leaving me alone with Kael.

As Shine stood in line, I glanced around, taking in the surroundings. While doing so, my eyes landed on Kael—who was staring at me.

Instead of saying anything, I ignored him and continued looking elsewhere. I was too tired to fight anymore.

Just as I was turning to the other side, I suddenly felt a touch on my shoulder. I was sure Kael must have touched me—but why?

"Who are you, and why are you touching me?"

I immediately stepped away from him, my voice sharp with irritation.

"I was just leaving when your beauty caught my attention. You’re not from this pack, right? There are no beautiful omegas like you here."

I immediately understood that he was flirting with me. If it were the old me, I would have slapped him right away for talking like that.

But since Damon sent me here because of my violent behavior, I had to control myself. I didn’t want to create more trouble.

And he was only flirting, not talking like those perverted Alphas.

"Why aren’t you answering me, beauty?"

"Excuse me, don’t call me ’beauty.’ I don’t even know you, so how can you talk to me like this? Just leave me alone and get out of here."

I said, but that guy didn’t listen and remained standing there. Alphas

My gaze shifted to Kael, who was looking at me with disgust and anger in his eyes.

"Not interested. And don’t touch me again, or things won’t end well for you," I said, turning around and showing him my back.

Still, that guy stepped beside me and smirked.

"What will you do if I touch you one more time?"

Seriously? Does he want a beating that badly? Why isn’t he leaving me alone even after I clearly warned him?

"By the way, what’s your name, Beauty? Wanna come to my house? I have a really big house, and I’m super rich too. What do you say?"

Hearing him, I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes.

"Do I look poor to you, huh? I don’t care whether you’re rich or if you have a big house or not."

Just then, that guy suddenly grabbed my hand and started pulling me.

"Let’s go. My car is over there. I’ll give you the most pleasurable pain tonight, I swear."

"Excuse me, I’m not interested. You can find another omega who is fine with spending the night with you."

For the first time, I was handling the situation peacefully and giving kind replies.

"Like hell I care about your opinion. I want you in my bed tonight, which means I get what I want. No one can stop me."

I was at my limit, but I had been holding myself back. Not anymore. After what he said, he deserved to be punished.

Just as I was about to pull him back, Kael suddenly moved toward me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Let go of his hand right now, you bastard."

Kael’s tone was cold, but that guy didn’t even flinch. I guess I’ll have to push him away myself.

That guy was really getting under my skin now.
