Chapter 108: Lupin pack - 3
Silas’s POV
Shine just told me that Damon has arranged a villa for us for the next three months, but I have no idea what it looks like.
I hope it’s nice. After all, I’m going to be living there for the next three months.
At the very least, I want a comfortable place. It doesn’t have to be luxurious, but it should be decent.
I initially thought the Lupin Pack was small and poor, but even though it’s small, it’s surprisingly luxurious.
There are so many high-end cars and buildings, just like in the Bloodfang Pack.
It feels like this pack is developing rapidly.
After a while, we arrived in front of the villa. As soon as I stepped out, I saw that it was actually quite luxurious—and it was right near the forest. There were only a few houses nearby, making the area feel peaceful.
Overall, the vibe was nice. As I glanced around, I felt a sense of ease. It was refreshing.
Just as we were about to step inside, Kael’s car pulled up in front of the villa.
What the hell was he doing here now? Is he following us? What does he want from us? Why won’t he just leave us alone—especially me?
As he stepped out of his car and pulled his luggage from the trunk, a strange smile appeared on his face—like he was enjoying the fact that he was annoying us.
"Shine, we meet again, it’s Fate," he said.
"Fate, my ass! Why are you following us? You said you weren’t following anyone. So, what happened to all that big talk?"
"Oh, please. I’m not following you, understand? I’m here because this villa was arranged by my brother. So, of course, that makes me the owner of this place... and you, my servant."
Servant? Is he kidding me right now? He’s actually calling me a servant and claiming he owns this villa? He’s completely out of his mind.
I don’t get it. Why did he come here, following us? I’m sure he was the one who convinced Damon to send me here.
His wish has already been fulfilled, so why is he still after me? What does he want from me?
"No, this villa was arranged for me and Shine. You are not allowed to come in. Leave right now. I don’t want to live with you," I said firmly.
"Excuse me? No one asked for your opinion. And where I choose to live is up to me," he said, crossing his arms.
"I’ve decided—I’m staying here. If you have a problem with that and want to leave, be my guest. I’m not forcing you to stay with me."
Is he for real? Now he’s telling me to leave? Where the hell am I supposed to go?
He’s just looking for another way to torment me—I know that much. But I won’t let him win.
"And Shine, you don’t have a problem with me living here, right?" Kael asked with a smug smile.
Of course, Shine will say no. Kael is his classmate, Damon’s brother—how could he refuse him?
"Okay, you can live with us, Kael. But guys, please don’t start fighting again. We’re still outside the villa. What will people think of us? You’ve been at it ever since we left the airport," Shine sighed.
Honestly, I do feel a little embarrassed now. We’ve been arguing non-stop, and we’re still outside.
I’m also being childish—why am I even bothering to respond to him? He’s just as childish, trying to pick a fight with me.
I should be the mature one here.
If I stop replying, I’m sure he’ll drop it and shut his damn mouth. After all, no one except Theron keep running their mouth when they don’t get a response.
And just like that, Kael also walked into the villa with us as Shine opened the door.
The inside was just as impressive. The living room, kitchen, and upper floor—all of it looked nice as I glanced around. It was satisfying.
"Let’s first decide who’s going to stay where. Let’s divide the rooms," I suggested.
Of course, dividing the rooms is the most important task right now. I’m exhausted, and I’m sure they are too. Once we settle this, we can finally rest in our rooms without anyone disturbing us.
"What’s there to decide? Of course, I’m taking a room upstairs," Kael said confidently.
"And I know there’s another room beside mine, so one of you can take that. There’s also a room in front of us—did you see that?"
Hearing Kael, I glanced ahead. There really was a room on this floor. But if I stayed there, I’d be alone on this floor, and that would be kind of scary.
What if I got thirsty in the middle of the night and had to come out for water? I might get spooked.
"Silas, I’ll take the room on this floor. You stay in the room beside Kael."
Hearing that, I felt a little bad for him. He’d be living alone on this floor.
"Shine, you can take the room upstairs. I’ll stay down here."
"No, Silas, just do as I say, will you?"
In the end, I agreed. Since he was so adamant about it, I’d take the room upstairs.
Since everything was settled, I took my luggage upstairs.
As soon as I entered my room, I quickly locked the door from the inside, unpacked my bags, and started organizing my clothes in the wardrobe.
In just half an hour, I had unpacked everything and neatly arranged it all. The wardrobe looked nice and tidy.
After that, I grabbed my pajamas and headed straight to the bathroom.
A quick shower later, I felt refreshed. Surprisingly, I wasn’t even hungry—it was as if I was already full.
Lying down on my bed, I closed my eyes, and in an instant, it felt like I was lying on soft grass, surrounded by nature.
The sensation was so peaceful,so comforting.
I closed my eyes, ready to sleep, but just then, I heard a knock on my door.
