Chapter 107: Lupin pack - 2

Silas’s POV

As I signal Shine, he turns around and sees Kael walking toward us.

"What is he doing here?" Shine asked

How would I know what he’s doing here? But just seeing him makes me angry.

What reason does he have to come here? He only knows how to annoy people.

And then he reaches us.

"Yo, Shine. How have you been? Sorry I couldn’t talk to you in the office a few days ago. My mood was pretty bad at that time."

He’s talking to Shine, but his eyes are on me—like he wants me to hear how his mood was down.

Like I care. I’m not going to apologize to him, no matter what.

"Yes, Kael, what are you doing here? It’s a surprise to see you. Did Mr. Damon send you to keep an eye on us?"

I completely agree with Shine. Did Damon really send this guy to spy on us? Someone who can’t even take care of himself and always has a bad temper?

"No, he didn’t send me. I came on my own because I wanted to see if someone is receiving their punishment properly."

He was literally staring at me when he said that. Punishment? What, like he threw me into some kind of dungeon?

Please. It’s just a pack. I really hate him when he talks like this.

But I’m not going to respond to him. Why would I? He always runs his mouth, always ready to fight with anyone. But I’m not like him. Why would I fight him?

"I think you’re going too far this time. I know you get angry, but you’re grown up now. You should learn to control your anger," Shine said.

"How am I going too far? Am I hitting him? Like he did? I don’t throw punches or kicks—I just run my mouth. And you, little boy, I don’t like you at all. You’re a worthless Omega who doesn’t know anything other than licking an Alpha’s feet."

I was really trying to control myself, to ignore him and not respond. But he just had to run his mouth—really, really bad. And because of that, my temper flared.

"You only know how to bark, so don’t try to act human here. I know exactly how you lick everyone’s feet," I said with a smile.

Like him, I also know how to make someone angry. And the moment those words left my mouth, Kael’s face made it clear—he was about to bark very loudly.

"How dare you talk to me like this? Respect me!" Kael shouted.

"Oh, look! Someone is starving for respect. You know, to receive respect, you have to give it first. Didn’t anyone teach you that? Oh, how unfortunate for you."

"I guess your own family doesn’t love you. That’s why they never taught you anything. They just let you stray around like some kind of wild—" i said

Kael steps forward, standing right in front of me, locking eyes with mine. I don’t look away—I stare straight back into his eyes.

"At least my family didn’t throw me out of my own pack. Unlike someone who has no pack, no respect for their own family, and only knows how to disrespect others."

Even after hearing him, I don’t flinch. My gaze stays locked on his.

"It’s all thanks to my brother that you’re standing here safe and sound. If he hadn’t given you a chance... you know exactly what would have happened to you."

"Yeah, it’s all thanks to him. But you? You didn’t do anything," I snap back at Kael.

"I really don’t understand how they let you step into the flight because, just looking at your face, anyone can tell—you’re a monster."

"At least I look like a monster—not some kind of bitch like you. I know your next goal is to seduce someone from this pack, right?"

"Yes, I’m going to seduce the king of this pack and have them kick you out. How do you like that? My goal, loser Kael."

"As expected, you’re a lost cause. But you know, if you fall for someone here and decide to settle down, that would actually be great. Then you’d never come back and bother my brothers again."

Wow. He thinks I’m bothering his brothers? No. They come to me themselves. I don’t go to them.

I was about to say more when Shine suddenly stepped between us, placing a hand on my shoulder—and on Kael’s too.

"Both of you, please stop. People are watching. This is so embarrassing. You’re not kids, so control your anger."

I sighed at his words.

"Okay, Shine, let’s just leave."

As I spoke, Shine and I turned to walk away, heading toward the exit. But the moment we stepped out of the airport, Kael followed right behind us.

"Why are you following us now? Just go away," I said.

Two cars were parked in front of us. Shine walked over and opened the door of one of them, so I figured that was our ride. Right behind it was another car, and I had a feeling that one belonged to Kael.

"No one is following you. I’m leaving on my own," Kael said before getting into his car.

Shine and I got into ours as the driver loaded our luggage into the trunk. Once everything was set, the car started moving.

As we drove, I gazed outside. Everything was new—the buildings, the view, the atmosphere. It felt like I had stepped into an entirely different world. I had never felt anything like this before.

The sensation was both exciting and strange. It was that unexplainable feeling you get when you see a place for the first time—something deep inside stirs, a mix of wonder and unfamiliarity. It was hard to put into words.

As my full attention was on the view outside, I suddenly heard Shine’s voice.

"What are you thinking, Silas? You look like you’re deep in thought."

I glanced at Shine. He was watching me.

"I’m just enjoying the view, the vibe. Don’t you think everything here is nice?"

I said excitedly.
