Chapter 106: Lupin pack - 1
Silas’s POV
When I was sitting in the car on the way home, I took out my mobile from my pocket and started scrolling.
Just then, I saw that Gold Era Company had posted an original video.
It showed everything that happened last night, but it was edited—not all the scenes were there.
However, the part where I slapped that couple and them apologizing to me, admitting they were wrong, was included.
When I checked the comment section:
[Person 1] – "That couple tried to slander my baby! I will kill them! And those who called Silas wrong should just disappear!"
[Person 2] – "I just saw Jeren’s post. He said Silas was feeling sad after everything that happened, so he was hugging him to comfort him."
People’s opinions change so easily. But while some were still running their mouths about me, my fans were defending me—and that felt nice.
Seeing this, I realized that not the whole internet was against me. It was just a few people.
Still, if Damon says I have to go, then I have no right to resist.
After that, we reached home. I packed my belongings—everything I needed. Shine also went to his house to pack his things. We were leaving in two days, so we still had plenty of time.
In the evening, when Atlas found out about it, he wanted to come too. But because of his brother, he couldn’t.
Damon even sent me a message in the afternoon asking if I needed a bodyguard, but I said no. I didn’t need one.
I know I’m a celebrity, and everyone knows my face, but it was another pack. Who knows? Maybe they don’t even watch our dramas.
And just like that, the day finally came. Shine and I stood at the airport, looking around while waiting for our flight, which was in an hour.
"Silas, let’s sit over there. It’s too tiring to stand here for an hour."
"Okay."
We sat down and waited. Finally, after an hour, our flight arrived.
As we boarded, my heart started beating so fast. It wasn’t my first time flying, but it was only my second.
The first time was when I was a child. Now, I was grown up. I wished I wasn’t scared.
After 20 hours, our flight finally landed in the Lupin Pack.
When we stepped out of the plane, we found out that all outgoing and incoming flights had been canceled.
The flight we arrived on was the last one. A heavy snowfall was expected—that was the reason.
"If we had missed this flight, it means we wouldn’t have had to come here."
I glanced at Shine as he spoke. I still felt like he didn’t really want to come. He just forced himself to.
"When flights resume, you can go back home, Shine."
"Why are you telling me to leave? Am I annoying? Did I disturb you?"
"No, but you keep saying we shouldn’t have come. So, I thought you didn’t really want to be here and only came because you’re my manager. You didn’t have to do that. But still... thanks for coming."
As I looked around, I noticed there weren’t many people at the airport, but the place was clean and beautifully decorated.
They really put effort into making it look nice.
First, I left my own pack. Then, I left the Bloodfang Pack. And now, I was in the Lupin Pack.
I didn’t know why I was here or what I was going to do for the next three months, but yeah... this was going to be both hard and easy.
"Shine, this is your first time coming here too, right?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Can I ask you something personal, Shine?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Did you know Damon personally? Or did you just apply for the job to be my manager? I’m just asking because my previous manager was hired through an interview."
"No, I didn’t give an interview. I was jobless and just lazing around at home when I got a call from Damon. He’s my friend—we were classmates."
" When he told me I’d be your manager, I was happy because I had recently watched all your dramas. I mean, there’s only one."
So, to be my manager, Damon called his own classmate—who was jobless.
Suddenly, a thought popped into my mind. That person—the one who took my blood and tried to kidnap me—hadn’t messaged or called me again.
He sent me a message that night, didn’t he? And Damon... he could see my messages and calls that night too.
That means Damon must have read that message as well, right?
Then... did he do something about that person?
No... if that were the case, then Damon would have asked me about that person or that message. But he didn’t. He didn’t ask anything—like nothing ever happened.
What am I even thinking while standing here?
Before leaving, I didn’t even tell Lysander about this. Will he worry about me if he doesn’t see me for three months and can’t meet me?
No, I don’t think so. He has plenty of people around him.
It doesn’t matter whether I tell him or not—he’s not free enough to listen to every story of mine.
I won’t trust any Alpha in my whole life because they’re all the same. They’re all perverts.
At any moment, they can be swept away by those filthy pheromones and pounce on any Omega they meet.
Unlike Omegas, who stay loyal to their partners.
Lost in thought, I glanced around. Then, as I turned to look behind me, checking how many people were coming, my eyes widened.
Kael was right behind us, walking in with his luggage in hand.
The moment I saw him, my blood boiled.
What the hell is he doing here?
He’s the reason Damon sent me to this pack. And now, he’s here too?
Does he want to fight with me that badly?
I nudged Shine’s hand with my elbow, signaling him to look behind.
