Xiao Jinsheng nodded, gently patting Li’s hand in comfort: "This is my issue, I still need to resolve it properly."

"Alright, I’ll wait for you here." Reluctantly, Li let go of her.

Xiao Jinsheng walked away with Huaiqing to talk, and their conversation lasted barely more than three minutes.

But when Xiao Jinsheng returned to his side, Li couldn’t feel any joy in his heart.

He had a nagging sense of foreboding.

Sure enough, Xiao Jinsheng raised her gaze to him, her eyes full of apology: "Li, I can’t divorce them right now."

"Why?" Li asked, wounded.

"I can’t tell you the reason, but I... at least for now, I can’t divorce them." Xiao Jinsheng lowered her gaze, looking elsewhere.

Li wouldn’t accept this. His eyes reddening with tears, he cupped Xiao Jinsheng’s face in his hands, forcing her to look at him: "You promised me, you said you would!"

"You’re joking right now, aren’t you?" Li asked, hope wavering in his voice.

But Xiao Jinsheng’s answer would only disappoint him.

"I’m sorry. I won’t be divorcing them for now. This isn’t a joke." Xiao Jinsheng’s voice weakened.

"Xiao Jinsheng! You’re nothing but a liar!" Li shouted angrily.

He gritted his teeth tightly, stepping back to distance himself from Xiao Jinsheng. His red eyes brimmed with disappointment as he stared at her: "How many times? How many times have you lied to me again?"

"Li, calm down." Xiao Jinsheng frowned and reached out to pull him back, but Li avoided her touch.

His reddened eyes blinked away unshed tears as he forced his voice steady, speaking harshly: "I won’t believe you anymore."

"Xiao Jinsheng, I’ll never believe in you again!"

"Isn’t this about not divorcing them, about protecting those five wild men?!"

"Old Man!" Li called out coldly, suppressing his anger: "See her out!"

He glanced at Xiao Jinsheng one last time, disappointment deep in his eyes. Turning away, he walked off the stage alone in desolation.

Xiao Jinsheng wanted to call him back, but seeing the resolute way in which he left, she opened her mouth and failed to utter a single word, silently watching his figure disappear into the palace.

She massaged her temples, slightly exasperated, then reached for the divorce agreements already signed with Huaiqing and the others. Stacking the papers together, she personally tore them into pieces.

"Let’s head back." Xiao Jinsheng turned with her gaze lowered, speaking to the five men who had come to find her.

Que Zelian’s eyes shifted between her and Huaiqing, but instead of questioning, he smiled and extended his hand: "Shall I carry you back?"

Xiao Jinsheng was about to walk over when she noticed she was still wearing the wedding dress Li had prepared for her.

She halted her steps and said, "I’ll change clothes first."

With that, she disappeared into the space, reappearing moments later in a casual outfit.

Looking at the five men, she urgently asked, "How much durability is left on your wristbands?"

"Nine thousand," Mo Jiao replied.

"Is that enough to return to Mist East?" Xiao Jinsheng fretted.

When Li had brought her here, she had already noticed her own wristband durability hadn’t dropped at all.

It was clear that this palace, built deep in Mist West, had the capability to defend against the corrosion of the Poisonous Fog.

"It’s enough," Su Ye assured her. "We can skirt along the coastline to avoid the danger zones most concentrated with Fog Corpses and Mutant Beasts."

Hearing this, Xiao Jinsheng nodded and glanced back toward the palace. But the figure she had hoped to see never appeared.

Lowering her gaze, Xiao Jinsheng stepped to Que Zelian’s side, tugging at his sleeve: "Let’s go."

The six of them departed, passing by walls from which small, expressive faces frequently peeked out.

Whenever one of the six turned back, those little heads would hurriedly retreat behind the walls.

The old man knocked on the door of a bedroom adorned with wedding symbols. The door soon opened, and Li, initially delighted, lowered his gaze to meet the old man’s kindly smiling face.

His expression fell: "She didn’t come?"

"Lordship, Madam has already left Demon Territory," the old man reminded him.

Li’s face flushed with anger as he ground his teeth: "She just left? She really just left?!"

"Yes, Lordship. Madam has indeed departed," the old man replied, then gently advised, "An excellent female being loved by more Beastmen is only natural."

"Lordship, insisting that Madam divorce her original Beast Husbands was a mistake on your part."

"I was the first to know her, the first to make a pact with her. If it weren’t for missed timing, we would’ve been together long ago. Those wild men wouldn’t even have had a chance," Li fumed.

"Lordship, they married her first—that’s the reality," the old man reminded.

Seeing his master still unable to collect himself, the old man lifted his cane to block the door from closing, his smile kind and serene: "Lordship, you’ve already missed out once. If you continue to dwell on your pride, you might miss her forever."

Li froze, his hand on the door pausing mid-motion at those words.

Frustrated, he flung the door open again and strode outside in haste.

The old man nodded in satisfaction, while a group of black-robed small beings emerged from the walls: "Old Man, is the Lord going to pursue Madam?"

"Of course." The old man nodded confidently, sighing with a tinge of nostalgia: "Lordship is still too young. Acting on impulse is always unwise."

"But since Lordship is reasonable and teachable, he’s always been a good kid," the old man added with a smile.

A black-robed figure rushed over in a panic: "Old Man, trouble! The Lord went to the Endless Sea, saying he wants to roast Cannibal Fish tonight."

The old man’s smile froze on his face, instantly shattering.

He closed his eyes in resignation, shaking his head with a heavy sigh: "Blockhead."

At the Endless Sea, the dark, surging waves suddenly shot up with a series of hundred-meter-high water columns.

The water columns froze swiftly into icy spires, only to shatter again under descending flames from the sky.

Hurrying along the coastline, Xiao Jinsheng and her group faintly discerned the ripples of Superpower Energy emanating from the deep sea.

"Mutant Beasts fighting in the deep sea?" Yu Yunxiao peered into the distance and asked in puzzlement.

Recalling Li’s mention of Cannibal Fish in the depths, Xiao Jinsheng urgently urged, "Let’s hurry back. The coastline isn’t safe."

The others agreed without hesitation.

After all, the battle in the deep sea was so tumultuous that even at the distant shore, they could see the commotion and sense the residual waves of formidable power radiating from the depths.

Clearly, any Mutant Beast capable of causing such a disturbance had at least Nine Stars of strength.

Aside from Xiao Jinsheng, the remaining five men’s wristband durability was running low.

To avoid unexpected encounters that might prevent them from safely escaping Mist West, the group picked up their pace to leave as quickly as possible.

Xiao Jinsheng found herself being carried alternately by the five men as they sprinted at top speed. Finally, three hours later, just before their wristband durability reached zero, they crossed into the territory of Mist East.

Back at the villa, Mo Jiao and Yu Yunxiao, unable to suppress their curiosity, blocked Huaiqing: "What exactly did you say to her?"

Otherwise, why would Xiao Jinsheng, who had already signed the divorce papers, change her mind after just three minutes?

Huaiqing adjusted his glasses slightly, smiling: "A secret."

With that, he sidestepped Mo Jiao and Yu Yunxiao and headed upstairs to his room.

Yu Yunxiao was full of puzzlement: "Could he have hypnotized Xiao Jinsheng?"

Mo Jiao rolled his eyes in exasperation: "That troublemaker is a Superpower Ten Stars. Do you think Huaiqing could hypnotize Xiao Jinsheng under his watchful gaze?"

Hypnosis was impossible; clearly, it was something Huaiqing had said during those three minutes that caused Xiao Jinsheng to change her mind.

Mo Jiao and Yu Yunxiao, filled with insatiable curiosity, racked their brains in vain.

Su Ye popped open the tab of a soda can with one hand, watching the foam bubble at the rim as he chimed in beside them: "Just because he’s a Beastified Sheep doesn’t mean he’s harmless and
