Lin Wu crossed the open area to a door, which wouldn’t budge. Then, a woman’s voice came from beside the door, "Who are you?"

Lin Wu turned his head and saw a camera, he asked, "Is that you, Seru?"

The other party said, "Doctor Seru."

"Are you Doctor Seru?" Crazy NPC, I’ll deal with you later. Not even considering who I am, and you dare to argue with me.

Seru: "Yes, and you?"

Lin Wu took out an envelope, "I’m a Fortress agent, bringing you a pardon."

After that, the door swung open with a click, and Lin Wu pushed it open and entered.

About a dozen zombies were in the middle section of the lab, which, judging by their clothes, were supposed to be soldiers and scientists protecting the lab. They were in a corridor, and beyond a security door, a silver-haired woman in a wheelchair was carefully peering into a microscope, seemingly unaffected by the nearby zombies.

Lin Wu took some time to deal with the zombies, then knocked on the door. The woman glanced at Lin Wu and pressed a button on the control panel next to her, and the security door opened, "Welcome to hell. I’m Seru."

Lin Wu looked around and responded, "Hello, Satan, I’m Michael. Pack up and come with me. God wants to see you."

"Heh." The other’s sense of humor was limited, she didn’t continue the banter with Lin Wu and, looking back at the microscope, said, "Do you know how hard it is to find a uniquely shaped virus on a sample of one square millimeter?"

"Why look for it?"

"To prove it exists." Seru held out her hand, and Lin Wu handed her the envelope. After reading it, Seru said, "We can go now."

Lin Wu looked at Seru for a while before calling, "Target located, but she can’t walk on her own."

Maya: "Carry her on your back."

Lin Wu asked, "Can I drag her?"

Maya: "That wouldn’t be appropriate. She’s a respected scientist, even if she’s an NPC."

Lin Wu said, "Alright. But I think scientists are one of the main reasons for human extinction." He didn’t have a high opinion of scientists, but didn’t dislike them either; he just didn’t have the worshipful heart like others did. To him, being a scientist was just a job.
