The trio didn’t choose the main base’s West Watchtower parking lot which was closest to the warehouse, but the south gate instead to reach the highway. Just as Lin Wu had said, there were hiding spots along the road. When they spotted a horde, they hid and waited for it to pass before moving on. The zombies on the highway were sparse, and Maya used a Repeating Crossbow to quickly clear the zombies that were in their way. The three of them arrived successfully outside the warehouse.

Looking back at the base, Shana at the West Watchtower of the Base signalled with her hand and called out, "Can you hear me?"

Maya gestured that she could. Lin Wu pointed towards the side of the warehouse, where there was a flagpole. Climbing up the flagpole would take them directly to the second floor of the warehouse, allowing them to bypass the large number of zombies wandering outside the main entrance.

Maya whispered, "If the zombies become agitated, everyone runs for their lives towards the direction of the base, which will provide covering fire. Lin Wu, go."

"Received," Lin Wu circled around to the side door, killing a Screamer and a zombie near the flagpole. The side space was narrow and without a side door, so not many zombies were there. Lin Wu climbed the flagpole to 15 meters high, stepped out onto the second-floor railing with his left foot, and with one more push, reached the railing of the second-floor warehouse.

Peanut and Maya followed suit. The climb wasn’t difficult, and even without the bonus of Agility, they could easily reach the second floor through endurance. Since it was their first infiltration, they decided to leave Wai at the base.
