Chapter 271: Talk to your artist. She lacks respect
Jaeho, not knowing what to do, went out to get Minwoo who was in the middle of a negotiation with Song Haijin’s manager and other legal bodies.
He was ready to fight as fiercely as he could to make sure Song Haijin got what she deserved for hitting his brother but then Jaeho rushed up to him and grabbed his arm,
"Manager, you have to come with me right away." He said but Minwoo took his hand back, not really fond of people grabbing him against his will.
"What are you rushing for? What’s wrong? Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something?" He asked and Jaeho answered,
"It’s the boss,"
"Hyung?" His eyes widened. "What happened to him?"
"I don’t know how to explain it." Jaeho went to his back and started pushing him forward. "Just hurry. He doesn’t look so good."
"How rude of you?!" Song Haijin exclaimed and Jaeho turned to her. "Everyone in this crew just acts barbaric. There are other people here yet you choose to act however you want. There’s no proper training and no act of courtesy either. Truly brazen."
Jaeho looked at her for a second and then briefly glanced at the table.
Song Haijin and her manager weren’t the only ones there. There was the legal team from Wailers as well.
But that didn’t matter.
"Lady, I think your head is hot." Jaeho said. "Let me help you cool it off." He picked the cup of ice coffee from the table and suddenly poured it on her head.
Song Haijin gasped in disbelief. Minwoo also looked in disbelief but he was on the laughing side.
She definitely deserved that.
"You..."
"I hope this cools you off," Jaeho said, his eyes turning dark as he looked down at her. "Because you’ve got some serious issues in your head."
"What is the meaning of this?" Her manager spoke up.
He was a tall man with a strict demeanor, but Jaeho had faced lots of strict people, and he didn’t even come close to any. So, he wasn’t fazed.
"Talk to your artist. She lacks respect."
"Says the kid who is talking to his elders disrespectfully." He flared but Jaeho ignored him and turned to Minwoo.
"Let’s go. The Boss really needs you." He said and pulled Minwoo out with him.
As they opened the door, Jaeho saw Shinwoo and he glared at him. But he could not waste time with him and excited the office with Minwoo.
"It’s him." He said, and as he led Minwoo towards Dongwoo’s office.
"What?"
"He’s the reason Boss is shaking." He said, and Minwoo’s eyes widened.
"He approached Dongwoo?" He asked and Jaeho nodded.
"They were in the boss’s office with the door locked and..."
Minwoo ran ahead of him before Jaeho was even done talking.
Ah, he had been a bit careless.
He didn’t do anything to Dongwoo, did he? Please, no. He hoped that wasn’t the case.
But when they got to the office, they saw a lot of people gathered outside Dongwoo’s office muttering loudly.
"What’s going...?" His eyes widened as he turned his head to see a fainted Dongwoo on the floor with the twins trying to revive him.
"Where’s the ambulance?" Seojun yelled. He had this anxious look on his face like he would die if something bad happened to Dongwoo.
"They’re on their way." Doha said, her hands shaking.
She had been the one to discover Dongwoo lying on the floor of his office and showing no sign of waking up.
She raised an alarm and the twins hurried to see what was going on, only to find their Hyung on the floor.
Seojun placed his head on Dongwoo’s chest to make sure his heart was still beating, and it was, but why wasn’t he waking up?
"Carry him!" Minwoo yelled. "Carry him out right away. I’ll drive to the hospital. It’s much faster."
Seojun carried Dongwoo in his arms and hurried out.
Seojin looked at Jaeho who was just as stunned as everyone else.
"You .. you were the last person he met, right?" Seojin asked and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Come with me. You’ll tell me how Hyung became like this."
Jaeho could tell it was a threat. If he didn’t talk then he would make him talk. And luckily, he wasn’t planning to hold back any information so he said,
"If you want to know, go ask that assistant. Song Haijin’s assistant."
Seojin’s eyebrows furrowed.
"What about him?" He asked. "What happened?"
"I don’t know what happened but..." He looked inside the office. "He was in there with Boss, and when he left, Boss was very shaken. He asked me to get someone because he was scared. I left to get the manager, only to come back and see this."
Seojin, though trying to hide his murderous intent, could not hide the dangerous aura around him. He was angry. So angry that he was letting his hatred for the world slip past the tiny cracks of his facade.
"Where is he?"
Jaeho gulped but he wasn’t scared. They were on the same side anyway.
Song Haijin was still trying to clean her hair while venting to her manager that she wanted to press charges against Minwoo and their entire Studio included.
"They’re all barbarians." She said in irritation, getting another wipe from the box of wiper that Shinwoo was holding up for her. "Just look what that scum did to my hair. He needs to be taught a lesson."
The door burst open, startling them and they watched Seojin barge in.
He headed straight for Shinwoo and grabbed him by the collar.
"What are you doing?" Shinwoo asked, confused.
"What did you do?" Seojin asked straight away and glanced at Song Haijin who was scared as well as confused. "Did she send you? Tell me. Did she send you to threaten Dongwoo Hyung? Speak!"
"Just what are you talking about? I didn’t do anything." He said, and Seojin got even more angry.
"Then what were you doing in Hyung’s office with the door locked?" He pushed him back and raised his hand, clenched his fist, ready to punch him when he remembered Dongwoo’s words.
He dropped his hand and instead, glared at Shinwoo, dragging him up by his collar.
"What did you do in there?"
Shinwoo, finally understanding the situation, scoffed and said,
"I just went to say hi to an old friend." He said and smirked. "Why? Did he tell you that I bullied him or something?"
"You dirty scum, I don’t know what you said to Hyung and I can’t make you talk for now, but once I find out that you tried to threaten him," he glanced at Song Haijin with murderous eyes. "...even if it was on orders, then be prepared to face the consequences." He threw him down to the floor and walked out.
Shinwoo stood to his feet, dusted his body and scoffed.
"What a load of crap?"
He turned to Song Haijin who was still quite shocked and she asked,
"Shinwoo, did you do anything without my knowledge?"
