Dongwoo sighed and said,

"Seojin, Seojun, Minwoo, can you all listen to me now?"

"Yes, of course, Hyung." The twins chorused.

"What do you want to say? I’ll listen." Minwoo said.

"Minwoo, I appreciate that you’re concerned and a little bit worried, if not overdoing it,"

Minwoo felt his heart skip with a little pain. He didn’t expect Dongwoo to say those words to him. He was just trying to protect him.

He bowed his head, feeling remorseful.

And even after all that, you still chose not to believe them, well, that’s all in you. It’s not like I’ll change my mind or heart about them just because you don’t like them."

He tittered and the twins had this proud look on their faces. It was screaming, ’We don’t need your approval, but our Hyung is very great with words, so we’ll gloat on his behalf.’

"But I do hope you get to see how much they love and care for me. They..." He smiled softly. "...have taken me through a lot."

Minwoo stared at Dongwoo’s face, stunned. He didn’t expect that from him. He was so... So...

And he wasn’t just talking about their reunion and how much they helped him get rid of his traumas and insecurities, he was talking about way back when they were still kids.

They gave him the strength he never knew he had. They helped him carry on when he was so close to giving up. And they guided his decisions too.

Minwoo stared at how Dongwoo stared at the twins with dreamy eyes and how they never tore their gaze, their soft loving gaze away from him.

He had to admit it at this point, there was a feeling of sincerity in those eyes, both of them staring at his brother.

"Alright." Dongwoo said. "I’ll choose to believe you this time." He added.

"It’s not like it matters," Seojin said. "Hyung will still be with us even if you don’t approve. You don’t have a say in this." He smirked victoriously, clearly taunting him.

"You..."

"And that brings about my question," Seojun said and all eyes went to him. "Hyung, what is your current relationship with the manager?"

"Ah!" Dongwoo exclaimed.

He immediately realized he had not said anything about his make-up with Minwoo.

"He’s my brother, what else do you want to know?" Minwoo asked, folding his hands with a little bit of victory hanging on the corners of his lips and his eyes.

But they ignored him and turned to Dongwoo instead.

"Hyung?"

It was a fact that they were brothers. Just seeing their faces and knowing their last names was enough to guess that, but the thing is, Dongwoo never agreed to it. He never agreed to the fact that Minwoo was his brother. His twin.

"Well," Dongwoo circled his fingers around the rim of his empty glass. ’What is taking the food so long?’ he couldn’t help but wonder.

"You don’t have to answer that." Seojin suddenly said and he raised his head. "We’ll just ask a few questions. Nod if it’s a yes, and shake your head if it’s a no." He suggested and Dongwoo nodded.

"Yes, let’s do that."

"Hyung, do you acknowledge the fact that this guy sitting next to you is your twin brother?" Seojin asked and he nodded. "Did he hassle you for it? Did he disturb you and force you to accept it?" Dongwoo shook his head. "Then, did you recall your memories?" Dongwoo nodded. "Is that why you acknowledged him?"

Dongwoo paused. Well, there were two sides to that and so, he shook his head and then nodded, confusing them.

"What does that mean?" Seojun asked. "A yes and a no? Does this mean there’s another reason why you acknowledged him?"

Dongwoo pursed his lips and then sighed before nodding.

Minwoo stared at him. It was fascinating, truly.

What should look like an interrogation was being done with such calmness and understanding. They were patient with Dongwoo and weren’t being strict with the question either.

Was this how they acted when Dongwoo had something on his mind but couldn’t speak about it? It was a brilliant idea. But how would they know if he had something on his mind?

’Lovers telepathy?’ he wondered, which was quite hilarious because he knew there was no such thing.

But still, he could not help but wonder.

"Then Hyung," Seojin’s face suddenly turned serious as he got ready to bring out the question that would seem to decide the whole thing. "...did you accept him from your heart? Do you see him as your true brother?"
