Minwoo and the twins exchanged death glares, sitting at a table together, and Dongwoo, who was at the corner, the one who came up with the bright idea for them to all eat together, smiled anxiously.

"So... This seems nice."

Shocked at being found out all of a sudden, Dongwoo was short of words. And to think he went ahead to kiss Seojin in front of Minwoo, he wondered what he was thinking at that moment.

"Dongwoo Hyung, blink twice if you’re not doing this out of your own free." He said and a confused Dongwoo blinked once. "So, you’re doing this on your own? You’re not forced into this by them?"

"Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?" Seojun asked, frowning at him. "We would never force anything on Hyung."

Still, Minwoo gritted his teeth. He believed there was something behind it. He believed they had other intentions of getting together with Dongwoo. His innocent older brother but... He just couldn’t tell what it was.

"Okay, I think there’s been a misunderstanding." Dongwoo said, dropping Minwoo’s hand from his shoulder gently. "Minwoo, I and the twins... Are in a relationship." He let out, but Minwoo tilted his head, acting lost, like he had spoken a very odd language to him.

Dongwoo stared at him and then at the twins.

What he said wasn’t that hard to understand, right?

"Um, the atmosphere seems a bit tense."

"I think you’re overthinking it, Hyung." Seojin said with a smiling face.

"Maybe it’s because we’re hungry." Dongwoo suddenly said, getting up to his feet. "Ah, yes. Hunger often makes one tense so let’s go out to eat dinner." He said and turned to Minwoo. "Why don’t you come with us?"

"What?!" The twins exclaimed.

Minwoo was surprised Dongwoo asked him to go out with him to eat but he did not let the chance slip and immediately nodded.

"Yes, I will."

But it wasn’t exactly the pleasant dinner setting as Minwoo and the twins kept exchanging questioning glares, asking what the other’s intention was but only through their eyes and nothing more.

Dongwoo stirred the water in front of him with his lips pursed.

He wanted to live the atmosphere and change sceneries, hoping that would put everyone at ease but it just got worse.

He knew the twins didn’t like Minwoo but he didn’t know Minwoo was so on guard against them. Or was it because he saw ’that’ just now?

Was he suspicious that the twins had hidden intentions and wanted to protect him?

He shook his head.

He didn’t need protection of any kind. Minwoo was just overreacting because he didn’t know the twin’s true feelings.

’I hope they can get along, tho.’ he thought. ’But this atmosphere is freaking dense. I should try to break the ice.’

There were people taking pictures of them from a distance. It was mostly because two good looking foreigners who happened to be twins were sitting opposite two other sets of good looking, if not cute, guys who were also twins.

As long as they did not come near, Dongwoo was okay with it. He would only start getting uncomfortable if they started approaching randomly.

Since it was a five-star restaurant, the customers were not so ordinary that they would act barbarically in public.

"Did you have something to speak with us that you had to come all the way to our apartment?" Seojin asked.

"Well, actually..." He brought out the little bag he had been carrying the whole time and turned to Dongwoo. "I came looking for Dongwoo Hyung."

With widened eyes, Dongwoo asked,

"You were looking for me?" Minwoo nodded. "But that wasn’t my address tho. It was the twins."

"Well, I rang your bell quite a lot, but there was no response, so I felt maybe that apartment didn’t belong to you and decided to check the one next to it. For all I knew, it might’ve been a mistake on my part." Minwoo explained. "And then I saw..."

"Yes, yes. I got it from there." Dongwoo quickly interrupted him. "No need to continue."

There was honestly no need for him to speak out the embarrassing details. After all, they were all there when it happened.

Minwoo sighed.

"I still can’t believe it’s mutual." He said, and the eyebrows on the twin’s foreheads furrowed. They didn’t like that remark. And the thing Minwoo asked next got them even angrier. "Dongwoo Hyung, do you... Really love them?"

"Hey!" Seojun slammed the table discreetly and glared at him. "I don’t want to put up with your words any longer. What is it you want to say? That we’re not good enough for Hyung? That we don’t deserve the title of being his lovers?"

Minwoo went silent staring at him sternly. He didn’t say them in words but it was clear that those were his thoughts.

"Calm down, Matteo." Seojin said. "There’s no point losing your temper. We’re in public, remember."

Seojun let out a little sigh and then put on a smile. A very natural one that one wouldn’t notice he was fuming inside.

"So, tell us," he began in a much calmer tone. "What are you insinuating, manager?"

Minwoo stared at his smile and almost shook his head at his pretense.

He was better off being an actor, honestly.

"I’m not trying to belittle you." He said. "But I don’t trust you either. I find it odd for both of you to be deeply infatuated with Dongwoo Hyung, as you claim."

"And what’s your place in this?" Seojin asked. "Whether you trust us or not, do you think it matters? The one who we are and will always be fateful to is Dongwoo Hyung over here. As long as he believes and trusts in us, no one else’s opinion matters."
