They concluded on that, making Jaeho the official Cupid since he was the one who knew his brother better than anyone, inside and outside.

Jaeho decided he would formulate a table containing Geumtae’s dislikes and likes, his habits, and his hobbies. If he was able to understand him better, he would be able to get closer to him more easily.

So, they exchanged numbers.

’Hah, I can say it worked out well today.’ Dongwoo thought, on his way to the clinic to go see Lily and Geumtae.

He walked down the street for a while, basking in the fresh air in the atmosphere and watching people as they went about their daily activities.

It had been a while since he walked around like that, alone. The twins were always joined at the hips to him. It was funny.

He got to the clinic but just as he was about to open the door, he noticed someone at the side watching him.

He didn’t know if they were indeed watching him, or if it was just his imagination, but it was giving him chills, so he decided to glance and see who it was.

He turned his head but immediately turned it back to the door of the clinic. He was shocked, scared actually and his body tensed up.

What was he doing there? Why was he there? Was he following him? Was he trying to know where he lived?

How did he even know where to find him?

Geumtae opened the door and saw Dongwoo standing at the door.

*Sweetie, you’re here." He said in excitement but noticed he was frozen up and slightly shaken. "What’s wrong?"

Dongwoo punched Geumtae in and sat on the floor of the clinic. He just needed something to jolt his feet to move and after he was in, his legs gave in.

"I... I’m sorry." Dongwoo apologized and raised his head to make sure there was no one in the clinic all along and luckily, there was no one.

"It’s okay, sweetie, but what’s got you all shaken up?" Geumtae asked, stretching his hand to him.

Dongwoo took his hand and immediately, Geumtae lifted him up and into his arms.

"Tell me, I’ll make you feel better." He said with a bright flirting smile.

"Um," Dongwoo made sure to get out of his arms first before proceeding. "Can you... Can you please check if there’s someone out there?" He asked. "Someone with glasses and in a hood."

Geumtae went silent and finally understood what was going on.

"Then wait here, sweetie." He said and walked out. He glanced at both sides and even went as far as checking the corners of the building to make sure they weren’t hiding there but there was no one.

He got back to the clinic and told Dongwoo his findings.

"Ah, then... I must’ve been imagining it." Dongwoo said, but his hands couldn’t stop shaking. They were quivering lightly but he was trying his best to hide it.

Geumtae watched him and felt that even though it was his imagination, would seeing someone in a hood cause him to be this frightened?

"Is it a stalker?" Geumtae asked but Dongwoo shook his head. "Then, a past lover?"

At the mention of that, Dongwoo flinched and he did not respond either. Instead, he started scratching his hands with his fingers, a habit that could very much inflict wounds on his own hands.

"Hey, sweetie, you don’t have to talk about this with me but have you spoken with those mu- your lovers?" He asked and Dongwoo raised his head, his eyebrows furrowed in fear. "You should speak about it with them. They probably don’t know what you’re going through or that your past lover is trying to get to you. If you get hurt and they have no idea why..."

"I... I’ll tell them." Dongwoo declared but he did not stop scratching his hand. "I’ll tell them as soon as I get home. I just... Don’t know how to bring it up."

Geumtae nodded and then went on his knees in front of him.

"I understand." He said with a faint smile. "But that won’t matter. You can bring up the story however you feel comfortable with and they will listen to you. Though I don’t like them, I know they put you first above everything so it’s all going to be fine."

Dongwoo’s eyes teared up and he cried, shocking Geumtae. It was the first time he had seen his tears.

"I’m sorry. I... I tend to cry over little things." Dongwoo said, hiding his face behind his arm while looking away. "I’ll calm down right away so please, give me a moment."

Geumtae watched, still stunned. He didn’t know that a person could actually look pretty even while crying.

He was a guy but how was he prettier than most girls when he cried?

It made him want to kiss him for some reason.

As soon as he got that thought, he shook it off, shaking his head and reminding himself that he decided to let go of him.

’But this is rather risky.’ he thought and got up.

He walked away for a while, and came back, dumping a big furball on Dongwoo.

"Meow!" It was Lily, and as soon as Dongwoo saw her, his eyes widened, and he actually cried more as he hugged her.

What was to make him feel better and stop crying actually made him cry more.

"Lily, I... sniff...missed you." Dongwoo professed as he snuggled on Lily who had actually grown more than the last time he saw her.

She had a lot more fur around her body. Super soft fur. She also grew in size too. And then there was that pretty pink collar around her neck with her name on it.

"You got her a collar?" Dongwoo asked, looking up at Geumtae and sniffed.

"You said she was a rebellious one, so I got a collar custom-made for her. I didn’t want her to run off and then get caught by someone thinking she was a stray." He explained. "Look at the back of the collar."

Dongwoo flipped the name tag and saw Geumtae’s number encrypted in it, as well as a detailed address of his vet in tiny letters.

This made Dongwoo laugh, and he looked up at him.

"You wrote your address?" Dongwoo asked but instead of answering, Geumtae stared at the smile that finally played on his lips.

He looked pretty when he cried but he was even prettier when he smiled.

"Yes." He answered, smiling softly.
