Chapter 89: The Industrial Complex.

At the northern part of Dust Valley City, the industrial complex was completed three days ago. However, it had not begun functioning.

In the industrial complex, there were seven massive factory buildings which would refine various artifacts.

Out of the seven factories, four belonged to Yan Li and the others. To mass-produce their artifact, such a huge factory was needed.

And with such a factory, they needed to train a lot of workers. Therefore, the past three days they were teaching their workers how to use the machines.

As for the machines, they were all created by Mo Jian together with everyone in the Refining Hall.

With each machine they created, their knowledge of machinery increased. Converting from one energy to another using runes was a sight to behold which they couldn’t get tired of.

Walking into the massive industrial complex area, the elders and disciples from the branch of Mystic Mechanics were stunned.

"It... massive." A female disciple muttered with wide eyes.

"Indeed..." A boy standing beside her responded with a nod.

Just looking at the wide road made of cobblestone that could allow five carriages to move side by side was a sight to behold.

"You can begin." Xiu Xu said to an old man who served as the factory manager.

"Yes, Young Miss." The factory manager responded and looked at his men.

"Begin!" he shouted.

In the distance were machines covered in dense runes and formations. Each machine was interconnected with the others.

Previously, it would have been a simple machine with human labor completing the hardest part, which was inscribing the runes on the artifact.

But with Yan Li’s breakthrough in Mystic Mechanic, they only needed to use his Automatic Runic Printer.

Slowly, they watched the Blackiron ore being melted in the furnace before it was transported into the mold which molded it into the specific shape.

Watching the humans and machines work together in tandem was a sight. The machine did the hard part while the humans completed the finishing touch.

In less than ten minutes, more than one hundred No-Heat stoves had been completed.

"So fast!"

"Not fast. Terrifying!"

For a refiner to refine a single artifact, it would take between one hour to days. It all depended on the complexity of the artifact.

But now, a few machines made hundreds of artifacts in ten minutes.

Elder Luo Zhen sighed continuously. He could foresee the future where this machine dominated the world.

Yan Li was already waiting at the entrance.

"Welcome, everyone." He said with a deep bow. "Please follow me."

Everyone followed him into the factory. Like Xiu Xu’s factory, his workers stood nervously.

Yan Li took a deep breath before he commanded:

"Begin."

"Young Master," responded a middle-aged woman who was the factory manager.

Quickly, the machines came to life. Everyone apart from the workers watched the scene quietly.

The Moon Orbs processed were a bit longer than the No-Heat stove. Nevertheless, in twenty minutes, over one hundred Moon Orbs were already produced.

Yan Li picked a Moon Orb with trembling hands and looked at Mo Jian, the elders, and his fellow disciples.

’Please work!’ he prayed in his heart.

He placed the spirit stone and switched it on.

Hmm!

A bright light illuminated the air and loud cheers erupted from both the workers and the disciples.

Yan Li received congratulations from everyone. Even though Mo Jian owned almost everything, this was still the product of his creation.

How could he not be happy?

With that, everyone moved to the third factory. This was a bit different from the others. The factory only dealt with the creation of new ores.

Thus, there was no fanfare.

They only watched the machines melting the ores for a moment before they lost interest and moved to the last factory.

Inside the Automatic Runic Printer factory, everyone watched the big machines working wonders.

Yan Li stood to the side with a lightly prideful smile on his face. This was his creation after all.

Compared to the past three factories, this was a work of art. Some machines were responsible for creating the pen before it was sent to another machine.

Another machine created the runic lines while another coupled everything to make it whole.

After half an hour, they produced the first batch.

Just like before, everyone waited patiently for the test.

And behold, when the test was done, it went on smoothly and it was successful.

Cheers filled the air and Yan Li received praise from both Mo Jian and the elders.

All the disciples were excited. With this, they could create endless talismans and sell them to make a lot of profit.

The two friends wore bright smiles as they left the industrial complex. They did not expect everything to go smoothly.
