Chapter 48. Moving (2)

Chapter 48: 48. Moving (2)

Cleaning up took a long time.

Anna had no time to think about anything else as she helped Lucy to bring a lot of items. Looking at the stack of items, she felt that Lucy was truly moving house.

"The things that didn’t need to be brought can be kept upstairs." Mark looked at Lucy speechlessly.

"But I feel that they’re still quite useful."

"There’s no space here and it’s not like we’ll live here forever." Mark tried his best to explain to Lucy. It was too troublesome if they were to bring everything down.

"If I really want to move house, there will be more things to bring." Lucy rolled her eyes.

"This is already a lot." Anna pointed at the stack of boxes.

"Well... I can’t help it. I can’t bring much things to the school and at home, I naturally want to pamper myself." Lucy pouted.

Anna’s lips twitched. She had the feeling that Lucy wanted to bring these because she missed having a lot of items to use and didn’t have to worry about lacking this and that.

After all, there was a limited number of items she could bring to her dormitory.

"Meow~." Kitty nudged the box beside him.

"Hey, don’t break the things inside, Kitty." Lucy quickly picked the box up so that it wouldn’t be broken by Kitty.

"Meow~."

"Will Kitty stay here or in your place?" Lucy asked another question. She didn’t mind taking care of Kitty, but she was not the best person who can take care of a cat. Trust her, she definitely will forget that there was an additional cat to be taken care of.

"Just in my place. I want to play more with Kitty," Anna replied.

"Meow~." Kitty happily trot to Anna’s side.

"Fine." Lucy shrugged.

"I’m going to set the wiring to your place too." Mark pointed at the generator in the room. "This one can provide more voltage than the one in my place."

"There’s a difference?" Anna was surprised. She didn’t pay much attention when she took the two of them out as long as they looked similar.

"The brand is better and based on the performance record, it’s also better."

"So it can hold for more electricity equipment?"

"You can say that."

"Then it’s good!"

After a discussion, they quickly set the wiring to reach Anna’s place. This way, the lamp could be turned on when it was necessary.

Mark had already finished making the wiring from the generator to the anti theft door upstairs, so no one will be able to enter. Unless there was an earthquake that destroyed the entire building, no one should be able to approach the floor upstairs.

"Without any maintenance, this generator will only last a few months. Let’s hope that the flood will stop within a few months," Mark remarked.

"Yes!"

Lucy was busy cleaning up the things in her room.

Dylan moved his belongings to the second room in Anna’s place and also moved a lot of the food to the kitchen. He was speechless when he saw the kitchen that belonged to Anna still has a lot of bags containing grain and flour.

There were even a lot of milk powder, eggs, condiments, and others.

"When did you prepare all of these?" Dylan asked.

"Just recently." Anna could only put everything that she could think to her kitchen. Whether it was full or not didn’t matter. The most important thing is for others to know that she has a lot of food.

"Well, they can last for a long time. Lucy and Mark might also want to drink some milk to supplement nutrition in case we ran out of vegetables." Dylan had already made a lot of pickles but they’re not exactly the same as fresh vegetables.

Besides, the amount is also limited.

Anna didn’t put more vegetables because it was almost two weeks. Even if there was any, it would have long gone bad.

"Oh, yeah." Anna nodded.

"There are also stacks of cereals." Dylan looked at Anna in confusion. "When did you start eating those?"

Anna: "..." I didn’t.

Back then, Anna naturally didn’t eat any cereal because she was living with the Williams Family. They have chef who will cook breakfast every single day.

They will not give any of these fast food for her to eat.

The only reason why she put them there was because there were tons of them inside her space. She had also tasted one of them not long ago because she couldn’t cook properly and didn’t want to starve.

Eating instant noodles all the time was definitely a big no, so she put out some cereals out.

Those were the others that she put in case she needed it.

"I just think that it’s easier to eat if there’s no food to eat," Anna replied. She looked at Dylan nervously.
