Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear
Chapter 194: Road to Healing

Chapter 194: Road to Healing

"The plan Z has been commenced~" Mini Plotter announced, making the original Plotter smile.

"Good job," Plotter praised his AI version.

Watching this, the Director’s lips almost twitched. The way Plotter did it was as if he was praising himself.

Keeping her thoughts to herself, Director focused on the plan ahead.

Although it seemed like there were other plans beside it because of its name, there was nothing. No plan A, nor plan B — just Z.

Why Z? Well, it was because it was the last letter in the alphabet. It meant that this plan was just their last resort. The plan had been initiated the moment the last participant reached the 800,000 mark.

Director sighed and looked at the result of the plan being "commenced" at the monitor screen that Mini Plotter temporarily inhabited.

The list of the remaining participants was displayed on it. All of their points had stopped moving, staying still on their marks.

Most of the higher ranked participants had already risen to the 900,000 line — just a few points away from their required debut point. Yet they had to do this cruel plan because of one issue.

The number of the participants.

There were too many of them who made it to the finals. If they didn’t restrict the voting time, most of them would have made it.

So, the two of the Overseers had come to this hard decision and finally initiated the plan.

Yet, Plotter seemed to be enjoying it. An amused smile was playing on his androgynous face. Though Director doubted that he would be smiling if Rayen didn’t win the third round before.

Still, she let him be.

"Okay, your work here is over. Go back," Plotter instructed his AI version. "Oh, but don’t rest with the strict surveillance."

"Okay~"

With that, it disappeared from the monitor screen.

Mini Plotter had been gone from Rayen’s phone for a long time because Plotter had been planning to release that video at the right moment.

Mini Plotter also did a surveillance on the overall network in the building once again as a preparation for the final round. He wanted to make sure that there could be no other clips that could be used against Rayen again.

But now that it’s finished, he instructed Mini Plotter to go back. There were still other things it had to do for the next segment.

...

With the eighth episode over, Rayen and the two with him went back to dorm floor

"Goodnight, brother," Yeo Haru said, yawning.

"Goodnight, Rayeye~"

Yeo Haru and Xi Huan finally disappeared from their room’s door. Rayen also opened his own dorm room’s door by scanning his phone on the knob.

But before he could enter, a familiar head popped out from the corner.

Rayen halted his steps. "You’re alive?"

Mini Plotter stepped out wholly from the corner. "Technically, I’m not alive. But I am alive."

Rayen blinked, puzzled.

’What does that even mean?’

"You’re not gonna celebrate my return?" Mini Plotter asked, pouting.

"Why should I?"

After responding that way, Rayen closed the door behind him. When he arrived in the living room, Adrian’s presence was nowhere to be found. Even in the bedroom, he wasn’t there when Rayen looked.

’Where’s that guy? He’s still practicing?’

The dorm room was unusually silent without Adrian’s presence. It felt a bit lonely.

Though who cared about that guy?

Meanwhile, Mini Plotter seemed saddened by his words. "You’ve changed... You used to be adorable, always screaming inwardly..."

"Shut up."

Now, Rayen missed the silence.

Mini Plotter looked even more downhearted by Rayen’s dismissal.

"Do you have anything to say?" Rayen asked.

Mini Plotter’s eyes lit up the moment those words left Rayen’s mouth.

"Now that you reminded me! Ta-da!!!"

A new interface suddenly appeared on Rayen’s screen. It looked like those ads and promotions that would suddenly appear in games.

[Road to Healing!]

’What the hell is this?’

Now that Mini Plotter was back, Rayen didn’t have to figure it out by himself.

"This is an event for everyone! Please click the icon to see the details," Mini Plotter explained.

Since there was no ’x’ button anywhere, Rayen had no choice but to do as instructed. Suddenly, the screen changed into another interface.

[Road to Healing

Choose where you want to go for a vacation!]

There were three different pictures below those lines, all places belonging to the outside world. The first one was a picture of a mountain top with the misty sky surrounding it. The next one was an island and a cruise, while the last one was a normal cityscape.

"What is this?" Rayen blurted out.

"It’s for the next segment before the final round! The Road to Healing!"

"Yeah, I can see that," Rayen replied. "But what the heck is healing?"

Mini Plotter continued, "With the final round approaching, the pressure for you, participants, must have been high. That’s why, the production staff thought of a solution to release those pent-up feelings! Also, this segment would be aired at the 11th episode of the show right before the live episode in the finals."

Rayen definitely felt the pressure, but this so-called healing... He didn’t want it at all. Instead, he was worried about it.

’Are we going out again?’

His body trembled with that thought. He still recalled the time when they went out. The nausea of being transported repeatedly was a trauma that had left a scar in his mind.

’No, I don’t want to go out!’

"You have to choose one," Plotter said, a wide grin on its beautiful and at the same time, handsome face.

Mini Plotter was so invested that he didn’t seem to notice the grimace in Rayen’s expression.

’Can I not?’

Still, without a choice Rayen had to select one of the options.

The first one he crossed off was the cityscape. He recalled the scene where he was mugged off by the crowd.

’I definitely can’t go there.’

Then, he was left with the mountains and the island. His eyes flitted between the two. Finally, he settled on one of the images and gently pressed it.

[Do you confirm your selection?]

Rayen pressed the ’yes’ button.

[Thank you for your feedback!]

As the interface disappeared, Mini Plotter also disappeared along it.

Sigh.

’I really don’t want to go outside...’
