Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear -
Chapter 193 - 8INH_me?
Chapter 193: 8INH_me?
From an anonymous account that seemed to have sprouted from nowhere, a video was uploaded. For someone who had no single follower, the post didn’t immediately garner any attention.
However, as though it were magic, this post just appeared everywhere.
Ultimately, it landed on the newsfeed of one of the Idol:Revive’s fans randomly browsing through her social media.
At first glance, it seemed like just a simple CCTV camera footage that no one would pay any attention to. Yet, the moment Abby’s eyes landed on it, she was struck with a sudden sense of deja vu.
’Why do these people look familiar?’
There were six guys on the screen, all wearing seemingly identical gothic doll outfits. One of them has hair dyed with a bright red color.
’Goth... Red... Backstage-like set...’
Her thoughts paused upon a realization. She had truly seen a similar thing before since she was part of the on-site viewers back then.
’Resurrect Me?’
She wasn’t talking about the song Resurrect Me but one of the team names in Idol:Re at round one. The team where both Rayen and Yeo Haru belonged which sparked the bullying controversy.
Curiosity piqued, the fan clicked the play button.
As she watched the team dance the familiar steps, the fan was finally sure of her conjectures. This was truly Team Resurrect Me practicing behind the stage.
However, one particular person was dancing a bit too much, which was killing the team’s harmony. Obviously, Abby recognized it was Yeo Haru. She was his fan, after all.
One of the members suddenly stopped moving, his gaze clearly on Yeo Haru. The others also followed suit except for the person with red hair ahead of the team’s formation. He seemed oblivious to what was happening behind him as he continued to dance almost robotically.
The next thing that happened was a commotion. The person who first stopped was about to approach Yeo Haru when two of his teammates tried to pull him back. Another one also approached Yeo Haru, seemingly ready once a fight broke out.
Abby’s brows furrowed.
"Stop trying to stand out too much! You’re leaving the team behind," Binh complained.
"I’m trying, okay?" Yeo Haru responded.
"You don’t seem like it!"
Finally, the red-haired Rayen glanced back toward his teammates.
"Why does everything I do seem an eyesore to you?"
"I was just saying you’re dancing too much!"
The video continued as the fan gritted her teeth.
’What did my Haru do? Aren’t you the one not trying hard?’
"You bee—"
The guy pushed his two teammates away, about to launch a fist at her precious Yeo Haru.
Abby’s eyes widened. "NOOO!!!"
Suddenly, the red-haired person intervened, catching the guy’s fist.
"Do you want to beep? If you want to beep, continue with what you’re just about to do."
Abby watched dumbfounded, her heart still racing from the previous event.
The video finally stopped.
Even though the words were censored by a beep, she could recognize these lines. Having watched and listened to the distorted version countless times, how could she not recognize it?
’So all along... All along... Rayen wasn’t the bully here?’
He was even Yeo Haru’s savior!
’What the hell really happened?’
Despite being annoyed by the guy who was about to assault Yeo Haru, Abby still replayed the whole video to ascertain what happened.
It wasn’t distorted. No signs of being edited and cut out except for the censored threats. No voice over, and the audio matched the shape of their mouths.
What she determined was... Rayen is innocent. He had always been.
And she... she wrongly accused Yeo Haru’s savior...
A pang of guilt hit her on the chest.
Over the past few weeks, she was among the haters who spewed countless hate comments about Rayen.
What could she do? Just the thought of Yeo Haru being bullied by Rayen made her hate him. She wasn’t able to think through it. Just that she must protect her baby.
Yet, Rayen was truly innocent.
With that realization, the only thing Abby could think to atone for her sins was to share this informative video.

The truth about Rayen. He’s innocent. I’m sorry for all the bad things I told you

A comment was posted immediately after one minute.
– What? Abiby, was your account hacked?
As an active user of Y since before its name was changed from Hooter, Abby had a lot of followers. And as a fan of idol survival shows, her feed was full of posts related to this. It wasn’t unknown to her followers that the user ’Abiby’ is an avid hater of Rayen.
Yet now, she reposted something in favor of Rayen.
Did her account get hacked, or did the crows turn to white?
After five minutes though, the commenter replied to her own comment.
– Holy cow, it’s true.
>> Her account got hacked?
>> No, Rayen is innocent. Click the link and watch the video.
[@Abiby: I didn’t get hacked.]
From a single person commenting, the video spread like wildfire with the Kpop fans community who were also tuning in to the same show.
– I’ve always believed he was innocent.
– Whoever the uploader is, I thank you for clearing our cactus’ name.
– Wait. The original poster. Doesn’t the name ring a bell?
– How?
– Look at his username. 8INH_me. His name could be read as Binh. Isn’t Binh the one who nearly assaulted Yeo Haru in the video?
– What? No way... Does Flower Garden allow their trainees to use social media?
– So far, I haven’t seen any single participant’s account.
– Also, isn’t this a violation? He just leaked something from the show.
– Doesn’t that just mean he’s no longer part of the show?
– But even if he’s out of the show, it doesn’t mean he’s not their trainee anymore. It’s still a violation from him.
– The moment he tried to assault another trainee, don’t you think the agency won’t kick him out?
Various speculation about Binh’s condition also appeared out of nowhere. But there was one thing for sure that was confirmed. With this video out, Binh’s future in the show was out of the question.
As Abby read the words, she finally sighed in relief.
’Is this enough?’
Then, she recalled something that she might be able to do to try to help out Rayen more.
Clicking another tab, Abby typed in Idol:Revive’s official voting website, directly heading toward the voting page.
Starting today, she would cast a vote for Rayen until the end of the show. However, the moment the page loaded...
[I’m sorry, this round’s voting has ended. Please come back for the final voting on January 23. Thank you.]
Abby blinked in confusion.
