Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear
Chapter 195: Welcome Aboard!

Chapter 195: Welcome Aboard!

However, the healing vacation that happened did not align with Rayen’s expectations at all.

The next day, Rayen and the other participants were called to participate in the "healing" episode.

’What healing? I just want to stay in bed and heal by myself instead of filming outside.’

As he complained within his mind, they were led to the fifth floor of the building. On the entire way, Rayen was frowning in suspicion.

’Why the fifth floor? We’re not heading outside?’

The salty breeze entered Rayen’s nose, and the waves that crashed through the solid land could be heard right from outside of the door.

’The sea?’

Finally, Rayen was able to witness the scene inside the Scenario Studio the moment he entered the entrance of the studio with the others.

The stark white Scenario Studio had been transformed, but not into the usual scene where there was a stage surrounded by elevated seats. They stepped into a long harbor, and alarge cruise was waiting for them.

Rayen sighed in relief. Not only because they didn’t have to go outside for this healing trip, but also because his suggestion was the one that was chosen for them.

"Please line up! Please board the ship according to the color of the band of your straw hat!" A staff member waited for them by the entrance of the cruise, handing out some items.

One by one, the staff members handed them a straw hat and a pair of sunglasses. Rayen observed it as he received the items. The color of his band was black.

"If I call the color of your straw hat, please step forward!" The staff member then proceeded on yelling different colors. "Red!"

Three people stepped ahead: Adrian, Yeo Haru and Ren’s thug partner. The three of them walked on the wooden bridge and boarded the ship, but Rayen paid them no attention as he looked for the others with the same color as his ribbon. Though it was crowded by black-clothed staff members handing out the hats, he couldn’t spot them in this large crowd.

Three more groups boarded before Rayen, all in a group of three.

Until finally, the color on his hat was called.

"Black!"

Led by a staff member, Rayen walked ahead, and two other figures followed him. The moment Rayen glanced at one of them, his steps halted.

One of the two figures also stopped as he noticed Rayen staring at him.

Ren asked with a side glance. "You got a problem?"

Liam just watched the two of them, prepared to move if a fight ever broke out. Fortunately, nothing happened.

"... Nothing." Rayen continued, leaving Ren and Liam behind.

"Welcome aboard!" The staff exclaimed with a smile.

With that, Rayen proceeded toward the deck. The wind blew as the salty smell of the sea lingered on Rayen’s nostrils.

For a moment, Rayen was truly believing that where they were headed to was towards "healing". Except for the fact that he had a similar straw hat with Ren, everything was good.

Definitely, he wouldn’t think about the matter anymore unless he had to.

’I’ll relax. Just relax.’

He glanced around the whole place, seeing a familiar figure at the corner of the deck. The figure was seated in a reclining chair, his head adorned with the straw hat that was given to the participants. On his hand was a glass of brown liquid filled with ice.

’This guy surely knows how to make himself relaxed at any moment.’

Rayen approached the figure, sitting beside him at another vacant reclining chair.

Noticing Rayen, Adrian slightly lowered his sunglasses and peeked at him. "You joining me?"

"Where did you get that?" Rayen asked, pointing at Adrian’s drink.

"There." Adrian pointed at the bar on the deck, with some participants already lining up.

Some figures were familiar to Rayen, including his former teammates from Seven Flowers. Xu Jiji was with Iris as usual, ahead of the line. Yeo Haru and Xi Huan have a bowl of ice cream on their hands.

Upon noticing Rayen looking at them, Yeo Haru instantly wore a smile and headed toward their way. Xi Huan followed behind him.

"Can I join you?" Yeo Haru asked.

Rayen didn’t have to answer though. As Yeo Haru was already sitting at another vacant spot on Rayen’s left side. Meanwhile, Xi Huan remained standing as she ate her bowl of ice cream.

Feeling envious that they have something refreshing in this summer heat, Rayen also made his way to the bar and ordered himself a coconut juice. Then, he sat back in the reclining chair. Though two figures were following behind him — Xu Jiji and Iris.

"Yo, JJ," Adrian greeted Xu Jiji then nodded at Iris.

As Rayen leaned on the chair, he noticed Ayumi’s figure by the deck. Xi Huan had gotten bored just standing by herself and joined her too. They watched the flapping birds silently. Sooner later, Xu Jiji and Iris joined them, leaning on the deck railings.

"Be careful, don’t fall," Iris advised Xu Jiji and the others.

"Whoa... Whoa... Whoa..." Yeo Haru exclaimed as the bird passed by them.

"You haven’t seen birds before?" Rayen asked, annoyed by his loudness.

Yeo Haru laughed. "I have. I’m just enjoying things right now. The birds are just too interesting."

"Why don’t you join those four, then?" Adrian asked, pointing at Xi Huan and the others.

However, Yeo Haru didn’t respond right away. His eyes glanced at the azure water, his face turning pale at the sight.

An awkward smile formed on his face as he pried his gaze away from the water. Scooping one bite of ice cream in his bowl, he brought it to his mouth.

"I’m afraid I’ll fall," Yeo Haru answered, his shoulders slumping. "I really don’t like places with water. I didn’t even choose anything with water on the survey. But I’m stuck here."

Rayen felt a pang of guilt in his chest. His choices were all about water.

Whenever he thought of the word "vacation," he could only think of water. But apparently, Yeo Haru hated water.

Letting out an awkward chuckle, Rayen leaned back in his chair. He avoided looking at Yeo Haru at all costs.

’My bad...’

Yeo Haru didn’t seem to notice it and continued explaining.

"If I’m loud, I feel less nervous," Yeo Haru said and laughed out loud.

With that, Rayen just let Yeo Haru be loud.

Sipping the drink in his hand, Rayen gazed around once again. Just then, not far away, he spotted Liam by himself.

Rayen stood from his seat and went beside his old friend.

"Yo," Rayen greeted, getting Liam’s attention.

Liam glanced at Rayen in response.

"Yo."

Suddenly, an arm draped over the two when a slightly tall figure stood between them.

"Having a good chat?" Adrian asked.

"No." Rayen shrugged Adrian’s arm away.

Just then, a dark silhouette entered Rayen’s vision far from the horizon.

"Is that where we’re headed?" Adrian asked, also noticing the silhouette.

Rayen shrugged.

’Who knows.’

Fifteen minutes later, their guess was confirmed. The cruise embarked on a small island.

Rayen’s feet stepped on the white sandy beach before them. A forest lay at the center of the island. He craned his neck, looking beyond the forest, but it was too hard to see through the trees and the leaves.

Several staff members approached their group. In their hands, they each held two pieces of flower necklaces as they grinned brightly toward them.

The participants looked at each other in puzzlement.

’What’s this?’

Suddenly, the group of staff members parted in the middle. A small figure walked through the center, holding a flower necklace made with purple flowers.

Plotter.

He approached Rayen out of all the participants, holding out the flower necklace toward him.

"Welcome to Healing Island!"
