Chapter 164: Beep You!

Minho hurriedly stood up and trudged toward the stage. Taking his position at the end of the line, Ara finally took her gaze away from him.

The evaluation carried on as usual. The staff member called for the challengers to which the participants below the stage responded to as they stood up.

With their positions secured, no one from Team Seven Flowers stood from their seats. In actuality, even if Rayen hadn’t secured any spot on his team, he still wouldn’t have taken a challenge from this team.

The song just wasn’t up to his taste.

Watching the evaluation take place, Rayen couldn’t help but worry about Minho, his gaze repeatedly landing on the guy’s pale face. Also, compared to his other teammates, he had the most challengers behind him, six in total.

Meanwhile, Ara, Ren and Liam actually had no challengers.

The challenge began shortly after. Rayen sighed in relief seeing Minho performing fine. Despite the anxiousness showing from his face, it didn’t affect his dancing much — although his voice did tremble sometimes.

’I guess he’ll be fine.’

Contrary to his expectations though, the result was the complete opposite.

"I choose Kayla," Ara, with her fierce looks, stated her decision. "I don’t want an uncooperative member, so it would be better to choose someone else."

Minho flinched. Rayen didn’t know if it was speaking of their experience with having Minho on their team, or was she pertaining to the video of him complaining about his leader circulating on the Internet.

Either way, the result was still the same.

"Peanut is good... I feel sorry for Minho, but he’s been acting out of it recently. I don’t think he’s in a condition to perform right now."

Most of the answers were similar. In the end, Minho was kicked out of Team IFY.

...

When the evaluation finished, two different atmospheres lingered in the air. One side was calm and sighing in relief, while the others wore a blank and tense look on their faces. Those who seemed like everything was over were the ones who were kicked out of their team or who failed their challenges.

The cameras turned off, signaling the end of the filming. Rayen was among those who were sighing in relief — although his chest was being gnawed by guilt for feeling this way.

At that moment, one participant suddenly stood up from his seat, grabbing everyone’s attention. His movements were listless, as though he didn’t know what to be. Rayen recognized him as Ryeon’s roommate.

Suddenly, Ryeon’s roommate lunged at another participant just three seats away from him. They stumbled down, scattering the foldable seats below them.

"Beep you!" he yelled with grinding teeth.

His words were dutifully censored by the system, however, it couldn’t mask the deep grudge showing on his face. He continued yelling, almost spitting his saliva on the face of the participant he lunged at.

The person he grabbed was none other than Ren.

Despite Ryeon’s roommate’s hysterics, Ren remained unfazed, only trying to struggle out of Ryeon’s roommate’s grip with a straight face. When he realized that Ryeon’s roommate wasn’t going to budge, he gave up and silently stared at him.

Ryeon’s roommate continued yelling. "Because of you! Because of you! I lost my position in the team!"

Hearing those words, the other participants hesitated to stop the man. They either averted their gaze from the scene or just continued to watch with guilt on their face. However, when Ryeon’s roommate was just about to raise his fist in an attempt to beat Ren, someone finally stepped forward.

Mr. Big News stopped the fist midway. Ryeon’s roommate tried his hardest to budge out of Mr. Big News grip, but he couldn’t. Compared to Mr. Big News’s built, Ryeon’s roommate’s arms appeared almost like a twig.

Locking Ryeon’s roommate’s arms with his own, Mr. Big News pulled him away despite the intense struggle.

Ren sighed in relief when the weight over him was finally lifted. He straightened his collar while standing up.

"Beep you! Beep you!"

Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Ren went out of the dance practice studio followed by his thug like partner during the first round in Xu Jiji’s team.

Rayen scoffed. It was unfortunate that Mr. Big News intercepted them at that exact moment. Rayen would have loved to see Ren getting at least one fist on his face.

Well, he deserved it.

During the second round, it was Rayen who was kicked out of the Vocal Unit by this bastard, now it was Ryeon’s roommate.

Originally, Ryeon’s roommate didn’t have to worry about his parts since he had gotten two of them. But then, Ren, who also had two parts, snatched one of it, hoarding 3 parts for himself.

It would have been fine if that was only the case since he still had one part. However, Ren’s thug partner also challenged for the last part he got.

With their team just having five members, only the remaining three members could participate with the evaluation.

Of course, Mr. Big News chose Ryeon’s teammate, and Ren, being the bastard he originally was, chose his thug partner.

The one who decided Ryeon’s roommate’s fate was Nana. In the end, Nana chose to side with Ren.

Sneaking a peek at Nana, he saw her biting her lips and looking down. She flinched before pulling out her phone from her pocket. With trembling hands, she read something on her screen before tucking her phone away.

"Let’s go," Adrian said to the team, but Rayen ignored him.

Nana looked up and accidentally met Rayen’s eyes. Suddenly, she tensed up before running away from the studio.

’There’s really something fishy.’

Rayen didn’t know how Ren was able to trick Nana into joining them. What he really knew was that guy really deserved a beating!

"Hey." Adrian grabbed Rayen by his shoulder, finally catching his attention.

"What?"

"What are you looking at?" Adrian asked with an eyebrow raised. Following the direction where Rayen was looking earlier, he smirked. "Interested in her?"

"Heck, no."

"Okay. Okay. Then let’s go."

Rayen frowned, shrugging his hand away. "Where?"

"You don’t remember? It’s Monday. Let’s go watch the next episode together upstairs."

"What if I don’t want to?"

"You don’t want to? Then, too bad. We’re all going."

That’s when he only realized that the rest of their team was already waiting behind Adrian.

If he wouldn’t go, he’d be the only one left out. He didn’t want another potential problem to happen. If someone uploaded another video of him being the only one absent in their team, he’d get flamed on the Internet again. So he had no choice but to go.

"Fine," Rayen grumbled.
