Chapter 946: Describing the situation the best they could

The tires screeched loudly once more as Heaven started driving again, dodging the incoming SUV that was heading in their direction. Hera felt her heart drop to her stomach, seeing the SUV almost hitting them. Dragon, on the other hand, could only grit his teeth and hold for his dear life.

At this point, Hera didn’t know if getting rescued by Heaven was even called a good thing. Heaven was driving everyone crazy. The soul in Hera’s body should know, but experiencing the original Hera’s craziness was an entirely different experience.

This was crazy. It was insane.

Surely, the original Hera earned a place in the underground for a reason.

"Kyah!!" Another squeal escaped Hera as the SUV hit the rear of their vehicle, pushing them in a different direction. Followed by that was another round of gunfire. Yet, their driver remained calm and occupied, twisting the steering wheel to the side until they spun in the road.

This time, Heaven faced the car that had pushed them from behind, winding the window down and opening fire with a pistol she got from under her jacket. The bullet barely scratched the SUV as it was bulletproof. Not that Heaven didn’t know that. She simply opened fire to buy herself some time as she drove ahead, crashing the front of the car on the SUV’s side.

"Oh god!" Hera blurted out as she leaned forward and bounced back upon crashing. When she reopened her eyes, their car was already driving in reverse, gasping as Heaven stepped on the pedal once more to crash their car again.

"No!" Hera yelled, almost biting her tongue as they crashed into the SUV again. "Are you really crazy?! Just drive away! No need to face fight them if you can just drive —"

BANG!

Hera’s breath hitched as a bullet grazed her cheek. Her eyes went wide, staring blankly at the thin smoke billowing from the pistol from the driver’s seat.

"Shut up," Heaven warned, eyes shining malevolently. "Your screams are one thing, but don’t you dare tell me what to do... bitch."

Hera pressed her lips into a thin line, holding her breath, paralyzed under Heaven’s gaze. That face and eyes were once so familiar to her. It was a face she had seen from childhood until adulthood. But right now, she could no longer recognize that face or those burning pair of eyes.

They were still the same features, but they appeared and felt different.

This was their difference.

Whether it was good or bad, it was subjective, though.

"Hah..." Dragon breathed out as he glanced at Hera, a little more disappointed at her. How could this woman become so weak and pathetic? He could’ve understood if it was because she lost her memories, but then, didn’t she claim she knew everything?

It doesn’t matter.

His eyes glinted as he shifted his eyes to the driver’s seat. Heaven had already retrieved the pistol, refocusing on her driving, and doing another reverse. He expected her to wreck their vehicle by crashing it into everything in sight.

But alas, this time, Heaven just drove in reverse at full speed, looking back at the back seat to make sure they wouldn’t hit anything. All Dragon could do was watch her, heart thudding, and strangely, the image of Hera overlapped with hers.

’That’s ridiculous!’He told himself, shifting his attention to the windshield. ’What is she planning now?’

Out of instinct, Dragon held on to the handle tightly as his heart continued to race. At the back of his head, he was anticipating another crazy plan. Or maybe a crazy, unplanned move. He couldn’t really guess right now. All he knew was that anything could happen. This woman was unhinged, after all.

"Can you stop yelling?" Suddenly, Heaven’s irritated voice was heard, setting her eyes on the windshield when she knew she created enough space. "I can hear you — you never stopped talking."

Hera and Dragon furrowed their brows, only to realize Heaven wasn’t talking to herself. But rather, she was talking to whoever connected to her earpiece.

"Follow me," she ordered under her breath, revving up the car as she stared at the SUV and multiple cars she crashed into. "And Joker, are you done? Can you take charge now?"

"Hey! Wait! I’m almost — not yet, alright?!" From the other end of the line, Joker panicked. "Give me a moment! I’m almost there!"

Heaven blinked ever so slowly, taking deep breaths as if she was pondering about the situation. "Five minutes. Is that enough?"

"Mhmm... yes! It’s more than enough... I guess?"

"Fine." Heaven breathed out as she nodded. "No One, stop everyone who was hiding in standby. That guy Romnick is here, so tell Fig not to sulk for not getting him."

Hearing this brief conversation, Dragon could already guess the people she was working with. Not that he didn’t guess it initially. Even so, it was uncanny and unsettling how she even sounded Hera while giving orders in the middle of chaos.

Dragon glanced at Hera once more, only to see Hera looking at the driver’s seat worriedly. When he moved his attention to the driver’s seat, he shook his head once more.

’That’s ridiculous,’ he mentally laughed. ’That can’t be true, right? I’ve never heard anything about people switching bodies — that’s only a fallacy that happens in movies.’

But then again, how did Hera know Heaven? Didn’t she mention her when she first woke up after being in a coma for many years?

The idea was ridiculous, but somehow, denying it with logic brought more questions to his mind than answers.

"I’m going in," Heaven announced, eyes sharpening as she stared at the enemies who hadn’t moved an inch since she created distance from them. "Joker, check Tiger’s situation. Moose told me a problem rose from their side."

"What?!" Joker gasped. "I’m already busy as I am — let me take a breather."

"I’ll kill you if something happens to them."

"Fuck!"

With that being said, Heaven stomped on the pedal, driving at full speed at the cars ahead of them. Meanwhile, the people in the SUV and the other cars stared at the wrecked car with their jaws almost hitting the floor.

"Fuck!" Dimitri’s hitman shouted as he instinctively moved the gear to reverse. "What is wrong with that fucking bitch!? Is she a jealous psycho who found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her?! And now she wants to kill them along with us?!"

Romnick drew a deep breath, unable to look away from the incoming sedan. He pressed his earpiece and spoke under his breath. "Dimitri, we have a problem."

"What is‌ it now?"

"There’s a crazy woman here," Romnick described their situation the best he could. "A really crazy woman."
