Chapter 882: Use me

Silence hung in the air for a long time after Wolf’s remarks. Primo, on the other hand, furrowed his brows as he noticed the grim look on their faces.

’Is it because of Hera Cruel?’ he wondered, aware these people used to work for Hera Cruel. ’But what I don’t understand is...’

Primo set his eyes on Heaven and Dominic. Primo would understand if Dominic was in here. After all, he was the new employer of these people. Although Heaven was skilled enough, Primo didn’t expect her to participate in such things.

’Is it...’Primo furrowed his brows as he glanced at Dominic. ’The person in control is her? And not Dominic Zhu? Just who the hell is Heaven Liu?’

Primo’s methods before stealing a person’s identity were not only to analyze the person he would pretend to be but also the people around them. In other words, Primo was confident he had investigated Heaven Liu enough. Aside from her talent and passion for acting, there wasn’t anything significant about her. Well, maybe her pretty face.

The point was that Heaven Liu was an anomaly. Primo wouldn’t fail in the past if Heaven turned out to be just like what she should be. He knew she was strange, but right now, that feeling solidified.

"Damn it!" After the prolonged silence, Tiger ruffled his hair irritably. "Is it necessary to save her?"

"Huh?" Primo looked at Tiger with bewilderment.

Moose, on the other hand, deadpanned. "Is that even a question?"

"What’s the point?" Tiger snapped his eyes at Heaven. "It’s not like there’s a benefit if we rescue her."

"Are you saying we’ll use her as a bait?" Bear frowned while Wolf’s brows rose.

"I’m saying won’t she just make things complicated?" Tiger glanced at everyone and then at Hera and Dominic. "Do you really want to save her? Why?"

"You might not understand my reason, but I think it’s only fair if we do," was Dominic’s answer, holding back on the rest of his explanation with Primo’s participation in this meeting. Hera, or rather, the person inside Hera’s body, "died" under Dominic’s watch.

"Dom is right." Heaven nodded in agreement. "Although Tiger had his points, it’s still not enough to leave her alone. After all, Hera’s existence is of great significance to many. Because of her, many of the Reapers followed Dragon and if my assumption is correct, she’s the same reason Ram joined hands with him."

Another moment of silence befell their shoulders after her remarks. Tiger gazed down and clicked his tongue, reminded that only they knew Hera’s and Heaven’s circumstances. He didn’t care about the original Heaven. Therefore, even if she died in Hera’s body, it wouldn’t affect him.

"I was at a loss earlier, but after hearing bits of information from everyone, I somehow got the grasp of the situation," Heaven continued with a hum, scanning everyone’s faces and appreciating the hard work everyone had put in all this time. "Let’s clear up everything."

Heaven slowly rose from her seat and marched toward Wolf. Wolf offered her a smile, taking a step to the side to give her the spotlight.

"This might sound unnecessary considering Wolf patiently discussed everything he knew about Dragon and Dimitri." Silence followed her voice as none of them dared interrupt her talk.

Sensing the sudden change in the atmosphere, Primo couldn’t help but look at everyone once again. Earlier, when Wolf was talking, Tiger would once in a while speak in the middle of the talk. But now, everyone was just quiet.

"But this plan is not about killing both of them." Heaven suddenly slapped the whiteboard, eyes still on everyone. "This meeting agenda is rescuing those who got caught up in this problem. Killing Dragon and Dimitri should be a piece of cake. However, since our priorities were Hera, Leo, and Ivy’s lives, we should approach this carefully."

Her gaze fell on Tiger. "Tiger, I understand why you want to prioritize Ivy’s safety. After all, she’s someone very important to you, but she’s also important to me. She’s my only friend and the godmother of my daughter. However, it is selfish to sacrifice another to save her."

"Do you really think... Ivy will take it well if she finds out by saving her, we sacrificed Hera and Leo?" she added, making Tiger clench his teeth as he gazed down. Seeing his reaction, she rocked her head in satisfaction. "I thought so."

"If that is clear to everyone, then let’s move on to more pressing matters," Heaven continued firmly. "That is how are we going to do it?"

Another wave of silence hung in the air as they pondered. They already knew the problem and had been going around in circles. But what they needed to agree on was how they would save those three without getting caught up in the war between Dimitri and Dragon while saving their hostages.

"We don’t know how will Dimitri retaliate." After a prolonged silence, Moose spoke quietly. "However, we can’t just sit around and study how he moves if his first target is Hera."

"Damn it!" Tiger ground his teeth and pounded the bottom of his fist against the armrest. "We also lack manpower. We can’t just jump in the middle of hellfire, and considering Ram is with Dragon, the guard around her once the battle starts will be tight."

"We might end up confronting Ram and his forces," Bear added solemnly, his expression more grim now. "If that happens, we might get sandwiched between the people who want to keep her and the people who want to kill her."

Everyone spewed their concern one after another. If their enemy was simply Dragon, it would be easy. But Dimitri also had his hostage, Ivy Wei.

"Uhm..." After a while, Primo cleared his throat and raised a hand reluctantly. His action warranted everyone’s attention. "Dimitri knows me."

Heaven arched a brow while others furrowed their brows.

"I want to believe even if Dimitri is arrogant, I’m sure he knows me. At least, he remembers me." Primo took a deep breath and fixed his eyes on Heaven. "You already have a solution, don’t you? Earlier, where we’re out there in the forest, you mentioned you need me to do something."

A fire in Primo’s eyes shone. It was faint, but it still gave the message to her. "When you came to prison that day, we agreed on one thing. I get to regain my freedom and you... will use me."

"Use me," he added with a deep breath, hand across his chest. "I already accepted my fate long ago, so... don’t hesitate to throw me in the middle of the fire. Besides, I always felt like the main character. Being in the center of the spotlight seems like a fitting spot for me."
