Chapter 880: Today’s meeting agenda

As Tiger and Primo shared a good laugh, Primo shook his head mildly. They might not be in a psychiatric ward, but they were laughing for no reason. Or rather, they were laughing for the wrong reason.

How rotten they truly were. Perhaps they should be in the facility as well.

"Anyway —" Primo halted when the door suddenly flew open, turning his head to the door, only to see Moose strutting in.

"Huh?" Moose stopped two steps from the door, looking around the room with curiosity. "As far as I recall, this is the infirmary. How come I ended up in a psychiatric ward?"

Tiger deadpanned at Moose’s entrance. "There is this thing called a doorknob," he said, pointing at the door. "All you have to do is twist it and push the door open."

"Heh." Moose snickered and smirked. "I don’t know whether to push or pull."

"Is he a total blockhead?" Primo murmured, watching Moose march toward their bed.

Moose stood in the middle on the end of their beds, darting his eyes between them. He first scanned Primo and then Tiger, nodding in satisfaction.

"You guys seemed alright." He clapped. "Good thing you’re both fine."

Primo kept his lips pressed into a thin line while observing Moose with dismay. "Stop acting like a real doctor doing your rounds. You’re not a doctor."

"Hah?! Are you questioning my license again?" Moose gasped in disbelief, hand on his chest. "Can’t you see you’re fine? Why is that? That’s all thanks to the talented me!"

"He said you’re a quack doctor." Primo tipped his head in Tiger’s direction. "And sometimes, claims you’re an engineer."

Moose scrunched up his nose and looked at Tiger. "What sort of slander have you been telling my other patient, Mr. Clark?"

’Clark?’ Primo raised his brows as he glanced at Tiger. As soon as his gaze landed on the latter, Tiger averted his eyes from Moose while whistling. ’Why does he look so guilty?’

"Goodness. Surely, treating an ungrateful bunch is such a pain in the neck. Why did she even have to take you when you’d be useless?" Moose shook his head and sighed, hands on his hips. "After doing my best for you, this is how I get repaid."

"Is there a professional fee, so you shut up?" Tiger inquired with a dull voice, and Moose’s eyes instantly twinkled.

"Of course! With the right price." Moose winked, making Primo scrunch up his nose. "I’ll send you an invoice."

"His love for money makes me wonder if it’s amazing or concerning," Primo murmured in dismay, still not used to Moose’s antics.

"So?" Tiger snapped his tongue. "Are we in Sorrento?"

"Correct! I guess Young Master Tiger is truly a gift from heaven! Can’t believe such a genius exists!" Moose clapped, grinning. "Since both of you are fine, then prepare yourselves for the meeting."

"A meeting?" Primo tilted his head to the side. "A meeting with?"

The corner of Moose’s lips stretched from ear to ear until his teeth were fully displayed. Seeing his reaction, Primo’s brows rose. Primo turned his head to Tiger, only to see the dull look on his face.

"Why are you..." Primo trailed off, darting his eyes between the two of them. "... did I say something wrong?"

"Well, Attorney Cafre, we can’t just go into an enemy’s base without plans, can we?" Moose remarked knowingly. "Rest for a bit because we’re leaving any minute."

Primo stared at Moose curiously. Even though Moose said all of that, he couldn’t seem to understand what it truly meant. Was it because there was rust in Primo’s brain?

The questions in Primo’s mind didn’t last long, though. Soon, someone came to the room they were in, telling them everyone was there. Tiger insisted on going in a wheelchair to reserve his energy while Primo told them he could walk. However, Moose prepared two wheelchairs, telling Primo to reserve every bit of his energy and recover as fast as he could if he wanted to survive.

And just like that, they arrived at the family room in the villa.

As soon as they arrived, Primo scanned the room. Sitting on the set of couches were some people. There were some familiar faces like Heaven Liu and Dominic Zhu; they occupied the long couch. The one-seater on the end of the coffee table was Wolf. And then on the couch across from the couple sat Bear. There was a tablet resting in the middle of the table.

"Sorry for making you wait, everyone! One of my patients was acting like a diva thus, our delay." Moose greeted enthusiastically, wheeling Primo in. He stopped around the couches, leaving Primo in the wheelchair while taking the other one-seater across from Wolf. The other man who was wheeling Tiger also positioned him around the table before lowering his head and leaving.

’What a strange atmosphere,’Primo thought, scanning the faces around, only to notice the whiteboard near where they sat.

"Are you okay?"

While Primo was studying their surrounding, Heaven’s voice pulled him back to the current lapse. When he looked at her, he saw her looking in Tiger’s direction.

"I’m fine." Tiger flexed his fingers as he opened and closed them. "I can work without holding people down."

Heaven squinted her eyes as she studied him up and down. "Good," she said with a nod.

’Good?’ Primo mentally frowned. ’Even if Tiger looks fine, he was injured. He won’t just magically recover in a few hours.’

"How about you, No One?" she then averted her attention to Primo, making the latter flinch a little.

"Huh?"

Heaven deadpanned. "That’s not the reaction I expected from you."

It was the same for Primo. Ever since that time, Primo had always acted sharply and insanely fearless. But somehow, having her attention now made him subconsciously feel cautious — intimidated. Was it because at the back of his head, he was scared of her?

"I’m fine," Primo cleared his throat after recollecting his thoughts. Just like what she did to Tiger, Heaven scanned Primo’s face before she nodded.

"It seems both of them are fine," she spoke calmly, setting her eyes to Wolf. "Wolf."

Wolf smiled and nodded, rising from his seat and marching toward the whiteboard nearby. He then flipped the board, revealing some notes and pictures attached to him.

"Today’s meeting agenda is..." Wolf trailed off as if to create suspense, looking around and then smirking. "... killing two birds with one stone."
