Two months later...

Dominic’s lips parted, panting for air to catch up to his breathing. The corner of his mouth curled up in satisfaction as he stared at his wife underneath him. He brushed Heaven’s temple with the back of his fingers, lowering his head to plant a kiss on her lips.

"Mhm!" A moan of protest escaped Heaven’s lips as she patted his shoulder. Dominic grinned against her lips before he drew his head back.

"Baby, no more," Heaven pouted, feeling the tension from that kiss, even though they had just finished their third round of passion early in the morning.

"I’m kidding," he chuckled, pushing himself away from her to land beside her. His back sank into the soft mattress, making him bounce a little. "That was amazing."

"I’ll be disappointed if you say it’s not," she commented nonchalantly, staring at the high ceiling as she stabilized her breathing. Heaven pulled the quilt over her bare chest, closing her eyes to rest for a moment.

Dominic glanced at her before rolling to his side. He propped his knuckles against his temple, staring at his wife with a devious smirk. Heaven pretended not to see him for the first minute before she sighed and looked back at him.

"Honey, is there something wrong?" she asked helplessly. "I like it rough, but you’ve been...how do I say it? Thirsty — no, hungry. More like starving."

His reaction to her question was a soft chuckle while Heaven sighed heavily. It was true that his sex drive in the past several months had been strangely high. He didn’t know why, but perhaps his schedule had something to do with it. Dominic had been less busy because he was only focusing on his campaign and nothing else. Not that he had so much free time, but compared to before, he found his schedule now more relaxed.

"Didn’t you say you have a morning meeting?" he asked out of plain curiosity.

"Mhm. We always have a morning meeting, but that’s at 9 in the morning — what time is it?" Heaven checked the time on the bedside table, and her eyes almost popped out of their sockets when she saw that it was past eight in the morning.

"Oh, no!" she panicked, jumping out of bed. She hurriedly put on her indoor slippers, the only thing she was wearing, leaving her fully exposed for Dominic to admire.

"Nice," Dominic commented as his eyes fell on her perky bottom with his handprint still on it. His comment earned her attention, and she creased her brows while glaring at him.

"What did I do?" he asked, blinking innocently.

"If I’m late and Mr. Yang scolds me again, it’ll be your fault!" she grumbled as she pointed a finger at him. "If that happens, no more morning sex — I mean, we can only have one orgasm!"

With that said, Heaven hurriedly went to the bathroom to prepare for work. Meanwhile, Dominic was left on the bed. His lips curved down as he pondered her last remarks.

"If you are late and Mr. Yang scolds you, just tell him you’re having quality time with the future minister of finance!" he yelled, knowing she heard him with her keen hearing. "Or I’ll tell Axel to fire him!"

"Not a chance, Dom! Who are you!?" Her voice from the bathroom sounded faint to Dominic, but it still reached him, nonetheless.

"She really likes Mr. Yang," he murmured, aware of Heaven’s status in the company as she kept him updated. She didn’t have to, though, because everyone who knew his relationship with Heaven would update him, for example, the new CEO of the Lyon Group, Axel.

"Well..." Dominic shrugged as he checked the time. "I still have a lot of time."

He lay down on his back to rest some more. He still had a few hours to spare before his first appointment for the day. However, just as Dominic stared at the ceiling, his brows rose. He slowly sat up on the bed, eyes on the bathroom.

His lips slowly stretched from ear to ear, peeling the blanket over his legs before he flung his leg out of the bed. After putting on his indoor slippers, he sauntered toward the shower where his wife was.

"My love, I need to use the bathroom," he announced before entering the bathroom, only to see his wife brushing her teeth while shampooing her hair. The moment she saw him enter the shower, she cast him a warning look.

"I’m not planning on anything," he said, raising his hands as a gesture of surrender. "I just thought I should give you my spare time since I still have a few hours before my charity activity."

"I’m telling you, Dom," she warned while brushing her teeth. "I haven’t even got to the office, but I’m already tired."

Heaven continued brushing her teeth while her other hand busied itself with her hair. Dominic assessed his wife for a moment, shaking his head mildly.

’At this point, I’m considering Mr. Yang to be the most powerful in this story,’ he thought, taking off his boxers before joining her in the shower. Standing behind her, his eyes fell on her naked back. Her skin was damp, and he definitely knew how soft she was.

"Let me help," he said before pumping the body wash into his palm and rubbing it on her back. Her body froze for a moment, and she looked back at him slowly.

"What?" he asked innocently. "I’m just trying to help. While you brush and shampoo, I’ll clean your body."

"Just make sure, Dom!" she warned while Dominic slid his eyes to the corner.

Dominic sported a reassuring smile as he nodded. "I’m sure..." — it would be fun.

Soon enough, under the running shower, both found themselves on the floor, lips locked in a passionate kiss, hands wrapped around each other’s bodies, and Heaven straddling his lap, bouncing up and down until they were both moaning and grunting.
