Chapter 646: [Bonus Chapter] Moose

"No family will appreciate it when a creep like him keeps running his mouth, telling everyone he’s marrying my sister."

Heaven squinted her eyes a little, looking at the man whose face was barely a palm length away from hers. "You... have a sister?" she asked, picking her words carefully.

"I have one."

’Who?’was the next question that nearly flew out of her mouth. Thankfully, she was able to bite her tongue. "Is that so? I guess your reason is valid."

"I was not looking for other people’s validation, but I’m glad you understand."

"Too bad. He’s dead." She forced a smile, brows raised. "Just let my people go, will you? You came here because of Primo, and I am here because of him. His existence is beneficial to me, but you killed him. You almost killed me in the process."

"Which is why I don’t believe you," he reasoned. "You are there inside the chopper with him, but you’re alive. I’d be foolish to take your words at face value."

"Hah..." Heaven let out a helpless exhale. "We are not going anywhere, are we?"

"We are."

"We are?"

"Yes." Dragon nodded, but his rigid expression had always been consistent. "You asked me a question, and I answered it. Can I ask you one question?"

Heaven arched a brow while she burned every brain cell to get a list of possible questions he had.

"What’s your name?" he asked, and the corner of her mouth curled up.

’I guessed it right. Dom’s wife is a genius.’

"He — Pepsi," she grinned. "The name’s Pepsi."

"What a strange name."

"Easier to remember."

"I swear you won’t want me to remember it."

"I know, but I already assumed I’d be in trouble if I gave you a different name."

"You’re interesting and funny." He let out a short chuckle. "Very well, Pepsi. I’ll drop it. I’ll let those guys go for now, and I’ll give you Primo as a gift. It seems you need him."

Her brows rose, and her eyes slightly widened. "You will?"

"Haha. Of course." Dragon slowly lowered the gun from her chin, taking a languid step back, unfazed by the gun still on the side of his stomach. "I wouldn’t normally do this, but I like you."

"I’m married."

"Not in that way." He shook his head mildly, smiling. "But listen to me, Pepsi. I’ll let you go now with a heavy heart, but pray that we won’t cross paths again. Because next time, you’d only have two options: die or be my a part of my family."

Heaven stared at him without a word before lowering her rifle from his stomach. A satisfied smile appeared on his face at her action.

"Go down," Dragon ordered at the pilot, eyes still on her. "I’ll let the lady go."

"Don’t." She tipped her head back a little as she raised her voice to the pilot. "Keep going on."

"Hmm?" he titled his head to the side. "Did you change your mind and want to come with me now?"

"No."

"Then, why?"

"Once I get out of here, this chopper will explode."

"How kind." He smiled. "But I already know that will happen. So, you don’t have to worry about me."

"I’m not worried about you. I’m worried that once this chopper explodes, this night will not end." Her answer made his smile stretch as his eyes glinted with interest. "Keep going."

"If we keep going, how are you going to leave?"

"Well." Heaven took a step and then stopped, looking at him. Dragon shrugged and let her go, watching her walk toward the door to look over the rooftop.

A sigh of relief slipped past her lips upon catching Bear standing on the deck of the rooftop. It was as though the man was preparing to jump toward the slowly ascending helicopter. Bear stopped, though, when he saw her standing by the open door.

"I’m alright!" Heaven yelled her lungs out. "Don’t shoot — especially you, Tiger!"

Tiger, who wasn’t even doing anything, pointed at himself. "She shouldn’t mention me when she got other people to warn." He clicked his tongue and pressed his earpiece.

"Hey, you heard the Young Madam?" he spoke to the people connected to the earpiece. "Don’t shoot, especially you, Joker."

"I’m not a shooter —"

"And also, Moose and Wolf."

"I definitely heard her mention you," Moose answered through his gritted teeth, clutching the little bump on the wall as he had been climbing the establishment from the outside to get in a good spot. "She didn’t mention me or anyone else but you."

"Stop being a bitch, will you?" Tiger clicked his tongue. "She’s still there, and it seems she’ll be alright. Remember, if she dies, Mr. Zhu might just abandon the company and you’ll lose your life savings in the blink of an eye."

"Fuck!" Moose cursed and lost his balance, falling from the fifth floor. Fortunately, he was able to grab onto something.

"Joker?" Wincing at Moose’s sudden scream, Tiger spoke as he tried to hear anything from Joker.

"I won’t. Actually, she’s the one who doesn’t want to get off the chopper." Much to Tiger’s dismay, Joker seemed to have found a way to eavesdrop on the conversation inside. What he didn’t know was that a lightless drone was able to touch the bottom of the chopper where Joker was listening to the conversation.

"Just what is she planning, though?" Joker wondered, rubbing his chin mildly. "I mean, I can help her, but I don’t think she’d know about my plan."

"Just do what you’re planning to do." This time, Gray chimed in. "She might do something reckless."

"Well... I’m not very confident about that." Joker sighed, only for Gray to insist.

"Trust me, Joker," Gray breathed out. "She won’t be there with that man if she doesn’t have an escape plan."

"Like?"

Gray pressed his lips into a thin line to ponder on how to answer them without making it sound suspicious. Therefore, Princess stepped in.

"Like someone having her back and watching all her movements to make sure no matter how careless she was, she’d get away," was what Princess said, making everyone listening through the intercom raise their brows.

"That sounds awfully familiar," Wolf remarked.

"It does." Everyone answered in unison, nodding in agreement.

"Anyway, if that’s settled, Joker, tell us what is the conversation about." Ignoring the sarcasm in everyone’s tone, Tiger shook his head. "Any useful info?"

"Nothing. He’s letting her go, and she just doesn’t want to go because... right. There’s one." Joker’s voice slightly sounded distant. "She thinks we’ll shoot the chopper if she leaves."

"Uh... I think I need help here?" Moose, who was barely following the conversation and barely hanging on to his dear life, commented. It was left on heard.

"Hah. Why would she think about an enemy’s well-being?" Wolf wondered. "I’m starting to dislike her."

"Not her, but everyone." Joker tightened a strap around his chest and stood by the window. "Wolf, tell your men to retreat. We’ll let him go for now and settle scores later. We can’t afford a full-blown war with him without everyone. Let’s talk in a bit."

Joker pressed his earpiece to mute everyone, as he could barely stand listening to their nonsense. Once the silence settled in, he reached for the window and pulled it up.

"Help!!"

When Joker opened the window, he moved his upper body into it. He turned his head to the side to see the person yelling, scrunching his face upon seeing Moose holding on to the little bump on the wall.

"Help —" Moose stopped and turned his head, only to see Joker looking at him from a window. "What the hell? You’re here all along?"

"And you’re here?" Joker looked at the small bump where Moose was clinging and then down. "You’ll break a lot of bones if you fall."

"Oy, help me —"

"Nope." Joker slowly snuck out of the window securely. He looked up at the chopper that was already far from his vantage point. "Princess said go for it, so I’m going for it. I just hope she’s ready to answer the ton load of questions I have for her."

With that being said, Joker suddenly jumped out of the window. He spread his arms as he free-fell, pressing the button on the strap across his body as if it were a parachute. But instead of a canopy, the thing that went out of the device was a pair of small wings.

"Wow..." Moose’s mouth fell open, watching Joker fly in the air with those new inventions. "He’s crazy, but I must admit that guy’s a genius. I want to buy that —" He stopped when he remembered his dreadful situation. "Fuck you, Joker!"
