Chapter 643: I have no business with you
"It’s a shame it’s a reunion I didn’t expect. But anyway, there’s plenty of time in the future. I came here for that man. Give him to me and we won’t have any problems."
Bear breathed out as he loosened his fist, relaxing his shoulders. ’Wherever she is... I’m sure she’s alive and I’m glad she’s not here.’He mentally nodded, telling himself of the good side of this situation.
"If you bombed them, then he’s probably dead," he remarked loudly, eyes stuck on the man he addressed as Dragon. "You’re here before us. So, I guess you already know we can’t give you the man we don’t have."
Dragon blinked lazily and then nodded. "I guess you’re right. Very well. Nice to see you and goodbye."
The time those words rolled out of the man’s tongue, he took a shoulder-fired missile out of nowhere. He rested it on his shoulder, its muzzle aimed at the rooftop where everybody was. Seeing him, Bear took a deep breath as his knees bent on instinct, planning to jump to the chopper to stop the man from releasing such a destructive weapon.
"Get away!" Tiger yelled at the same time, shifting his fierce eyes on Butler Fu, who was kneeling beside the unconscious Old Madam Zhu. "Bernard!"
Dragon closed one of his eyes and slowly placed his finger on the trigger. But before he could pull the trigger and bomb everyone, a figure from the corner of his eyes caught his attention. When he turned his head, all he saw was a woman jumping on the burning chopper’s top before leaping toward the chopper he was in.
"Huh?" Deep lines appeared between his thick brows. He took a short step forward to look over the open door.
There, hanging on the helicopter’s landing skid, was a woman with this sadistic-looking grin plastered on her face. Dragon squinted his eyes, which were swirling with nothing but curiosity. He shifted his explosive weapon down, pointing it at her, but didn’t shoot immediately.
Meanwhile, Bear and Tiger’s mouths fell open as they barely saw Heaven come out of nowhere, jumping on top of the burning chopper to reach the other one. Silas, on the other hand, had this blank expression the second he recognized the person who fearlessly jumped to the new face of tonight’s party.
’Is that... is that Heaven Liu?’ Silas’s jaw dropped, not blinking even for a second. "How... how did she do that?"
Silas initially assumed Heaven was already dead. After all, Primo was not only cunning and smart, but he was also strong and ruthless. He could’ve killed Heaven if the woman stood in his way. But alas, why was she still alive? And from the looks of it, she wasn’t hurt anywhere, although she was a little dirty.
Silas wasn’t the only person who was surprised. Every single one of them. However, their surprise wasn’t the same reason as his. For instance, Tiger was surprised that Heaven boldly went face to face with the man. Did she even know how dangerous that man was? And why would she even do that?
Bear, on the other hand, was just shocked to see she was here. And it seemed she already figured out the person who unexpectedly appeared tonight.
’Oh, no.’He shook his head mildly, thinking of ways to stop what seemed to be the start of the next world war. ’I have to do something or she might end up telling him who she was!’
Meanwhile...
"I wanted to ask who are you, but I already assumed you’re that other person with Alexander Cafre... or the man who assumed Primo Rossi’s identity," said the man calmly as if he hadn’t thought she wouldn’t hear him with how loud the rotor was. "I also assume if you’re alive, then there’s a high chance he’s alive as well."
The corner of her lips curled up as a malicious glint flickered across her eyes. "Not shooting?" she remarked with a tinge of sarcasm, knowing he wouldn’t mindlessly shoot her.
The man detected the sarcasm in her tone, understanding this woman had a deep understanding of why he couldn’t shoot her. He was holding a shoulder-fired missile, and the target was too close. He might end up bombing the chopper they were in and around him.
"I have no business with you," he said, lowering the weapon in his hand and handing it over to the person inside. "However, I don’t like your tone. Take her down."
When the man spoke his order, two armed men hurriedly came out of the side of the open door. On their knees, they aimed their muzzles down, and without a second hesitation, fired at Heaven.
"Hey! Jump away!" Before the rounds of gunshots were heard once again, Tiger instinctively yelled his lungs out. "It’s dangerous! Jump to the other skid landing!"
BANG BANG BANG!
Tiger nearly bit his tongue when the rounds of bullets echoed, piercing through the thunderous rotor sound of the running chopper. His mouth dropped when he saw Heaven release the landing skid, only to jump to the other side like a monkey.
Everyone held their breaths as they saw her sway to and fro after clinging to the other landing skid. But after a few seconds, Heaven took advantage of her momentum and spun, like a swing at its highest peak, Heaven jumped inside the chopper from the opposite side.
Everyone inside the helicopter froze for a moment when the woman hanging on the landing skid suddenly appeared at the other entrance of the chopper.
"Well." Heaven let out a huff which was followed by a short laugh, shifting his eyes to the other people inside. "Hello there."
"Take her down!"
Despite the limited space, the other three armed men leaped and assaulted her. But alas, Heaven swiftly took out the rifle clinging across one of the man’s body, kicking the other person coming at her, and then firing at the other person. She then pulled the rifle up until its strap slid up to the man’s neck, spinning him around to strangle him using the strap.
"Ugh!" The man tapped her shoulder, but she didn’t budge. If anything, she turned her head as she tightened up the wrap, holding Dragon’s eyes without blinking like a maniac.
"Still not shooting?" she asked with a sarcastic tone, smirking. "Well, too bad. I thought you had a death wish when you showed that face again."
A faint crack resonated in their ears as the man she was strangling broke his throat from the strangling. As his lifeless body collapsed, Heaven pulled the rifle, taking it out from the man’s body, and then pointed it at Dragon.
’Die, Frank.’
BANG BANG BANG BANG!
