Chapter 642: Dragon II

BANG!

Tiger didn’t think twice as he pulled the trigger, shooting the man down without a second hesitation. But alas, even when he pulled the trigger, the man remained standing, and the bullet missed him.

Tiger missed.

Dominic was surprised when he heard the piercing ’phew’ sound of the bullet hitting the metal side of the helicopter door. The lines between his brows deepened even more as he glanced at Tiger, who shot the man once again, only to miss for the second time.

’He missed,’ Dominic thought in surprise. ’Didn’t she say he never misses his target?’

When Heaven told Dominic the truth about her identity and the phenomenon that happened to her, she also told him about many things. Dominic had a lot of questions and she answered all of them. One of them was his questions about her team. Particularly at how skilled Tiger was.

"He never misses his target."

Those were the exact words his wife described Tiger. It was quite vague, but rescuing Axel proved how sharp the man was. But now, he was missing that man. There were no tricks or anything whatsoever the man was doing; he didn’t even dodge. Tiger was just missing him in plain sight, even on the third time.

What was going on?

"Give him to me." After some time of nothing but silence, the man spoke. "Dead or alive. Much better if he’s dead."

The man peeled his eyes from Tiger and then set them to Bear. "I have no business with the Reapers, but I have a business with Alexander Cafre. Did he die?"

"You’re the one who bombed this chopper?" Bear breathed out, eyes stuck on the man. He didn’t even look for Heaven anymore, as if nothing mattered aside from this man’s presence.

The man lowered his head a little as a nod. "He was with a suspicious woman. I think they were trying to get away."

"What?" Bear slowly balled his hands into a fist as his heart thudded against his chest. "What did you say?"

"Bernard, let’s not prolong this conversation. We both know we can’t stand exchanging more than twenty words." The man blinked ever so slowly, and his calm expression was still the same. "Did he die?"

The man slowly cast the burning chopper a look. "I don’t see any person burning inside, but was it because the fire is a little too much?"

"Dragon, what do you want with Primo Rossi?!" Bear yelled back, taking a step forward. "If you think he’s dead, then he’s dead. You got no business with the Reapers, then go!"

Dominic glanced at Bear in the latter’s urgent tone. But despite his curiosity, he threw it at the back of his mind. Since the man didn’t seem interested in him, he carefully stepped back and walked away to look for his wife. After dealing with many people in the past, Dominic was certain that was telling the truth.

He was interested in Primo Rossi or No One, as people knew him.

The man snapped his eyes when he saw Dominic walking away from his vantage point, going behind the burning chopper. However, he didn’t say a word as he didn’t care about him. Instead, he set his eyes back to Bear and then cast Tiger a quick look.

"I know it’s been a while," said the man calmly. "It’s a shame it’s a reunion I didn’t expect. But anyway, there’s plenty of time in the future. I came here for that man. Give him to me and we won’t have any problems."

Dominic didn’t care who the man was at the moment because his priority was his wife. He knew his wife very well. Even though the man said he bombed the chopper with a woman in it, Dominic didn’t want to believe his wife could’ve died.

His wife wouldn’t go down that easily. Call him in denial, but he believed Heaven wouldn’t die that easily. She wouldn’t go down without a fight. She was the woman who cheated death twice. Thus, if she was not around, she was probably on the other side of the burning chopper.

When Dominic reached the back of the burning chopper, his hurried steps halted. A deep sigh of relief slipped past his lips, eyes falling on the woman’s back, who was dragging a man away from the chopper.

"My love," he called in relief, earning Heaven’s attention. "You’re alright?"

Heaven looked back and smiled at the sight of him. "Are you?"

"Please..." Primo rolled his eyes at her change of tone. "I’m bleeding here and being dragged like this is embarrassing. But can you please flirt later?"

Dominic furrowed his brows as he shifted his eyes to the man she was dragging. "No One?"

"The one and only!" Primo mused, tilting his body to the side to look past her legs and see Dominic behind them. "Mr. Zhu, I know we have a lot of things to talk about. But, if you have a good heart, can you please carry me? I hate being dragged."

"Stop asking for favors." Heaven dropped his suit that she was clutching to drag him, kicking him to the side, which made him fall back to the ground. "He’s too exhausted. Carrying you will just tire him more."

"How I wish I was not hearing this." Primo looked at Heaven in dismay. He was already injured, but this was just too much for him. "My impression about you is now being questioned in my head, Miss Liu."

"Don’t care," she remarked nonchalantly, facing Dominic squarely. "I’m fine. Not injured. Are you?"

"Yes. Not injured."

"Good." Heaven nodded in satisfaction, looking at her husband from head to toe. "Can you drag this guy away from here? This chopper right here might explode again."

"No." Dominic’s refusal was quick and her brows furrowed.

"Why?"

"A certain man named Dragon wants him dead or alive. I promised Wolf to give him this man for his next campaign, but the newcomer is interested in him."

Heaven cocked her head to the side. "Darling, what did you say?"

"Hmm?"

"What’s the name of the man who wants this handicap?"

"Dragon."

"Dragon?"

"Yes. I heard Bear call him Dragon..." Dominic trailed off as he caught the sudden fire that engulfed her eyes. "Darling, are you... okay?"

"No." Heaven immediately turned on her heel and walked away while saying, "Take him away. If he wants this guy, then more reason for me not to give him."

Heaven cracked her fingers as she ground her teeth. ’Don’t tell me that even in my second life, you’re still going to haunt me, Frank?’
