Tiger kept standing behind the door, peeking through the gap to see if there were people going in their suite. So far, the first batch just ran past the suite they were in. Now that there was another person he already took responsibility for protecting, he was being careful in his next move.

Tiger held on the knob and opened the door slightly, enough for his eye to see the hallway. As soon as he did, he caught people running through the hallway, heading in their direction. He immediately closed it, thinking this should be the last batch of enemies, as many already run past this suite and none of them stopped.

However, as the footsteps got closer, his right brow arched. He gazed down, only to catch a shadow stretching underneath the gap of the door.

If Tiger was a little slower, he would’ve been riddled with bullets. But the second he realized the enemies had found him, he jumped into the suite and rolled to the floor. He wasted no time to seek shelter, rolling to the side and hiding behind the wall as their enemies riddled the door with bullets until its hinges rattled.

His back fused against the wall, taking deep breaths as the ear-splitting sound of gunshots echoed. When the sound faded, he heard a loud bam as the door collapsed on the floor after a kick.

"Shut up!" he yelled at the two screaming under the bed, turning his head to the side and his eyes fell on the shadow stretching inside the suite. ’How did they find out we’re here?’

From what he knew, these guys shouldn’t know they got into one of the suites. Tiger stalled them enough time to lose these guys. Also, with Joker’s little spider’s help, these guys shouldn’t have known they were here.

’Unless they got some help,’ he thought, mentally clicking his tongue. ’Well, I shouldn’t be surprised. That guy backed Silas Zhu. Of course, he’ll find a way to help him.’

Tiger got rid of everything that clouded his mind as he focused on the situation at hand. When the enemies stepped into his vicinity, Tiger already held the rifle up.

"Hey," he called to get their attention. The second the enemies turned their heads, all they saw was the rifle aimed at them before sparks flew out of the rifle’s muzzle.

A fierce battle ensued, bullets flying everywhere and bodies dropping one after another. But with every second, the number of bullets slowly decreased one after another until there was nothing but silence.

"Ugh!" A man grunted in pain at the pain in his abdomen, yet, eyes wide on the devil standing before him. The last thing he saw was how Tiger’s lips curled up into a smirk before five continuous shots went through the man’s stomach.

"Hah." Tiger huffed as he tossed the man to the side, his body landing on the floor with a thud. He gazed down and looked around, standing in the middle of fresh corpses loitering the only entrance and exit of the suite.

"These guys..." he breathed out, furrowing his brows as he studied the corpses around. "... they’re not Silas’s or Primo’s."

"Is it safe to come out now?"

Before Tiger’s mind could drift elsewhere, he turned his head at Dane’s voice.

"Yes," he yelled. "Come out now. We have to go and find Mr. Zhu. I’m afraid he can’t stay here either."
