Chapter 35: A Man of Steel

Lukas saw that Pak Yun was wearing a suit out in the woods.

And Pak Yun’s hands were in his pants pockets.

Stopping Lukas from seeing if Pak Yun was holding any weapons.

Pak Soon Hyun stepped forward and said with frustration, "Next time arrange for somewhere more comfortable."

He wiped his forehead and neck that were now sticky and uncomfortable with sweat.

After that, he looked up at Lukas and said, "Don’t you feel suffocated in that skeleton mask?

"And where’s the head of Lukas?

"I don’t want to be here for any second longer."

Lukas shrugged his shoulders, lifted his left hand and showed the bundle with the ’head’ made of mud inside.

Pak Soon Hyun gave out a huge grin when he saw it.

Finally, he could get into the good books of Jules Robertson and hopefully, the Pak family would be able to benefit from all the resources the Robertson family had.

Lukas stepped forward holding the ’head’ in the cloth bundle up in the air.

And with his right hand, he got ready to throw a punch at Pak Soon Hyun.

Pak Soon Hyun’s grin turned into a huge smile, and he raised both of his hands, ready to take over Lukas’s head.

Lukas waited for Pak Soon Hyun’s hands to reach the cloth bundle.

And when Pak Soon Hyun’s hands nearly touched the cloth bundle, he opened his fingers, and the cloth bundle dropped.

"What are you doing?!" Pak Soon Hyun shouted, and he bent his body trying to grab onto the cloth bundle.

Lukas immediately smashed his fist down at the back of Pak Soon Hyun’s head.

Thud.

A spear made of steel shot at Lukas’s fist and plunged into his right hand.

Lukas’s arm swung back from the velocity of the spear and impact.

Droplets of blood splattered onto Pak Soon Hyun’s face, and Pak Soon Hyun looked up.

"What the hell?" Pak Soon Hyun wiped his face and saw the blood on his palm.

And before Pak Soon Hyun could react, Lukas used his knee and hit Pak Soon Hyun’s chin.

Thud.

The force from Lukas’s knee caused Pak Soon Hyun to fall backwards onto the ground.

When Pak Soon Hyun saw the cloth bundle that was now on the ground, opened, he realized he had been tricked.

Inside the cloth bundle was nothing but the ’head’ made of mud, that had now crumbled into pieces.

Lukas pulled out the spear from his right fist and he turned the sharp end of the object towards Pak Soon Hyun.

He then threw the spear at Pak Soon Hyun like a javelin.

Crack.

An ice wall appeared in front of Pak Soon Hyun, but it wasn’t enough to block Lukas’s attack.

The spear shot through the ice wall and the ice wall cracked into pieces.

Thud.

It then plunged into Pak Soon Hyun’s left shoulder, nailing him to the ground.

"Argh!" Pak Soon Hyun cried out in pain, and he held onto the spear trying to pull it out.

"Run! Leave him to me."

Pak Yun shouted from behind Pak Soon Hyun.

He had conjured up two other spears in both his hands and he flung them at Lukas.

Whoosh.

The spears shot at Lukas leaving a trail of afterimage behind.

Lukas dodged one of the spears, but the other spear shot into his shoulder.

His Darkmatter Vault Armor wasn’t able to withstand the force, just like Skull’s summoned skeletons.

Pak Soon Hyun finally pulled out the spear and he tried to make use of this opportunity to run but to his horror, he couldn’t move his feet.

"Help me, uncle!" He looked back and cried out to Pak Yun.

Lukas had held onto the shadow of Pak Soon Hyun’s feet with his SSS Level Shadow Wielder.

Pak Yun came up to Pak Soon Hyun and tried to pull Pak Soon Hyun to his back.

But he couldn’t as Pak Soon Hyun stayed where he was, as if someone was in a tug of war with him.

Pak Yun took a deep breath and tried again.

As he conjured up energy to do so, Pak Yun felt something lunge at him from the side.

He turned his head to the side and saw a huge mouth with sharp fangs coming at him.

Pak Yun’s face turned into a metallic color as his whole body started to be covered with steel.

He smirked as he was very confident in his SSS Level Steel ability to protect him from damage.

Splatter.

Shiba’s mouth snapped at Pak Yun’s arm, and its fang tore through the steel as if it was nothing.

A trail of blood flowed onto the ground from Pak Yun’s arm.

Pak Yun quickly conjured another spear in his other hand, and he thrust it at Shiba.

Shiba opened its mouth and took a bite out of the spear, like eating a pocky stick.

"What are you?" Pak Yun exclaimed in astonishment at Shiba.

Clang!

A loud metallic sound echoed in the air as Lukas punched at Pak Yun’s head from the front.

The impact made Pak Yun shake his head to keep his consciousness.

When he regained it, he saw another thing that astonished him.

By now, Lukas’s wounds had healed.

His shoulder and hands were now as good as new.

"Get away from me!"

Pak Yun gave out a huge roar and sharp steel spikes ripped through his suit.

The sharp steel spikes shot out at Lukas and Shiba.

Lukas quickly covered his body with his arms and the sharp steel spikes got stuck in his forearms.

He endured the pain, pulled back his fist and gave out another punch at Pak Yun.

Clang!

Another metallic sound rang in the air.

Meanwhile, Shiba had opened its mouth and swallowed the sharp steel spikes that were shot at it.

It then turned to Pak Soon Hyun who was on the ground and gave him a huge grin.

Sharp steel spikes appeared in front of Pak Soon Hyun and shot at him.

Pak Soon Hyun quickly conjured up an ice wall to protect himself.
