I Got Reincarnated as a Zombie Girl
Chapter 120 - The End of Chaos

Chapter 120: Chapter 120 - The End of Chaos

I stood in the middle of a sea of zombies. Thousands of lifeless beings stared at me in silence, as if awaiting orders. Their empty eyes now reflected obedience. After a moment, I began to choose.

One by one, I called out to the zombies that caught my interest. Some were larger in stature, others had unique abilities, and a few had once been elite fighters before becoming undead. I examined them carefully, ensuring they were worthy of becoming part of my chosen legion.

After selecting more than a thousand zombies, I stopped the process. They now stood in neat rows, silent, unmoving. I felt a bit relieved seeing how easily they could be organized. As for the rest tens of thousands of others I would leave them in this world, not as a threat, but as inhabitants of a new dungeon soon to be built by the Goddess.

While waiting for the dungeon construction to finish, I asked a question that had been lingering in my mind.

"If I return to my world... will I be able to come back here again?"

My question hung in the air. The Goddess’s voice didn’t respond right away. A long silence followed, as if she were consulting something perhaps the world itself, or maybe the other gods.

Several minutes passed before her voice finally returned in my mind.

"Perhaps... yes. This world has acknowledged you as part of it, even though you weren’t born here. But to return, you must first master the element of Space. This world will aid you... if you can connect the rift between realities."

I nodded slowly. Space element, huh... a very rare one. Even in my original world, such power was almost unheard of. But I knew one thing: nothing was impossible. If I had been accepted by this world, then there must be a way to reopen the portal.

Besides, the EXP from this dungeon was amazing. I had acquired many powerful items so far. I wouldn’t mind coming back in the future so long as I could find the way.

The Goddess’s voice echoed again, softer this time.

"Though this world calls you the Goddess of Chaos... truthfully, it is grateful to you."

I raised an eyebrow. "Grateful? For what?"

"Because thanks to the virus you spread and the chaos you brought, the races that once hated each other were forced to unite. Humans, beastkin, elves, dark elves, dwarves even vampires... they now stand together against a common threat. There is no more racism among them. No more discrimination over form, race, or blood. You’ve unified this world in the most... unexpected way."

I fell silent. Honestly, I never had noble intentions of saving the world or creating peace among the races. I just wanted to become stronger, live freely, and never be looked down upon again. But hearing the Goddess’s words... somehow, my heart felt a bit warm.

"Kinda funny," I muttered. "They call me the Goddess of Chaos... yet the result is peace?"

The Goddess chuckled. "This world is strange, isn’t it?"

I smiled.

Suddenly, without warning, I and all the zombies around me were enveloped in purple light. In a flash, we were transported a mass teleportation.

When I opened my eyes, the sight before me made me pause. A towering structure reached into the sky. Its architecture was dark, exuding an aura of death and dense magical power. This was the new dungeon created by the Goddess... for me.

"Give it a name," the Goddess whispered gently.

I thought for a moment. No need for anything fancy. I wanted something simple and direct something that captured its essence.

"Tower of Zombies," I said firmly.

As the words left my lips, the tower glowed momentarily. Then, as if by magic, the tens of thousands of zombies outside began marching toward the dungeon. One by one, they were absorbed into the tower, automatically sorted into lower-level monsters, mid-tier guardians, and upper-floor bosses.

I stood there in silence, watching the process with mixed emotions awesome and mild disbelief. But not all zombies entered. A few remained nearby, lingering, as if reluctant to part from me.

I sighed.

"Go... train yourselves, become stronger. When the time comes, I will return and bring you all with me."

Upon hearing my words, they finally moved. My voice seemed to carry some magical compulsion, driving them to obey. It took about two hours for the entire field to become empty once more.

"I will now open the portal," said the Goddess.

I nodded and looked forward. A purple portal opened, swirling slowly. It looked just like the portal that had once dragged me into this world thanks to my own recklessness.

With my thousand chosen zombies, I stepped into it.

But just as I crossed the threshold, another voice reached me. Not the Goddess’s voice this time, but something warmer... like a mother’s voice.

"Come back again sometime, if you find another portal."

I didn’t have time to respond. My body had already passed through the dimensional rift, and when I opened my eyes again, a familiar sight greeted me.

A ruined city. Rubble. Remnants of battles long past.

"...Hmm. Is this... my original world?" I muttered.

Behind me, the thousand zombies emerged one by one. They stood, waiting, watching me in silence. I took a deep breath and tried to link my mind with Zark.

It took a moment... and finally, I felt the connection.

"...He’s pretty far. Around 80 to 100 kilometers..."

I cursed softly. But it didn’t matter. It was just another journey I’d endured worse. I began running toward Zark’s location, and the zombies followed in an orderly formation. The overcast sky loomed above us, as if welcoming the return of its Queen from another world.

Meanwhile, in my domain...

Zark stood atop the nearly finished tower of a great castle. The grand structure he had built in anticipation of my return was now about 90% complete. But suddenly, he paused his work. His eyes glowed red. He had felt something.

An aura he knew all too well... the aura of his Queen.

All the zombies in the region felt it too. They stood upright, trembling faintly, and for the first time in days, a glimmer of spirit returned to their otherwise empty eyes.

Their Queen had returned.
