I Can Transform Into Any Monster
Chapter 61: Look Glamorous

Chapter 61: Look Glamorous

Luis played a mobile game to pass the time, and before he realized it, the sky had turned yellow as the sun was beginning to set.

He hadn’t seen any sign of Madam Sofia leaving the resort, which made him suspicious that she hadn’t woken up yet.

He then called her phone, hoping the ringtone would wake her up.

Of course, the call went through, but it wasn’t answered.

Once, twice, even three times — the woman didn’t pick up.

"How could she still be asleep?" Luis frowned, not expecting the madam to sleep so deeply.

Since calling failed, Luis couldn’t help but feel troubled, because he couldn’t just go into her room to wake her up directly.

"Should I just knock on her door loudly?" Luis wondered, thinking that might be the only option left.

He got out of the car and entered the resort, which was bustling with people who had just finished showering and were now dressed nicely to continue their evening excursions.

"Sir, how can we help you?" a receptionist approached Luis and asked.

"Where’s Madam Sofia’s room? I came with her, and it seems like she hasn’t woken up yet, so I want to wake her," Luis replied, showing the receptionist her phone profile picture.

"Oh, her. She’s in VIP room 2 on the second floor," the receptionist responded, immediately recognizing Madam Sofia.

"I can go up there, right?" Luis asked again.

"Yes, I saw you arrive with her in the same car," the receptionist confirmed.

Luis nodded and thanked them before heading upstairs.

The resort didn’t have many rooms, and the doors still used manual locks.

Luis easily found VIP room 2, located at the far left end of the resort.

He went there and knocked on the door once he arrived.

"Madam, are you awake?" he called out loudly while knocking.

His knocking grew louder over time, earning him stares from the people nearby.

Thankfully, he soon got a response from Madam Sofia.

"Luis, yes, I’m awake... wait a moment, I want to shower first..." her voice echoed from inside the room.

Luis sighed in relief upon hearing that.

He then sat by an open window to wait.

He didn’t know how long Madam Sofia took to shower, but only when the sky had fully darkened did he finally hear footsteps approaching the door from inside.

It had been half an hour since she woke up.

Click!

The door finally opened, revealing Madam Sofia, now styled with her hair in a bun, wearing a long black dress with luxurious patterns, a pink diamond necklace around her neck, and a pair of long gold earrings.

Her left wrist wore a watch partially made of diamonds, while her right arm was covered with gold bracelets.

With high heels possibly reaching 15 cm, her figure only appeared taller and more enchanting with her slim, curvy body.

She also looked much younger with the makeup on her face, which didn’t look like makeup at all — it looked as though her face was naturally that beautiful.

Of course, she was already very beautiful to begin with, but now she looked even more stunning.

Luis thought he had never seen a woman more glamorous than she was at that moment.

The men at the resort stared at her without blinking, blushing and mesmerized.

Even Luis, who had grown somewhat accustomed to her, struggled to stay calm.

"Madam!" he greeted her as she approached.

"What’s with that face?" the woman chuckled, noticing his slight mental disarray.

Luis felt embarrassed and quickly tried to compose his expression.

"Madam, aren’t we going to a dangerous auction where winning might make us targets? Why are you dressed like this? You’ll have trouble moving if we’re attacked," Luis said, trying to hide his unease even though it was obvious.

"There will be many elites at that auction. I need to look my best," Madam Sofia replied casually. "Besides, wouldn’t it be great if others are enchanted by me? Maybe they’ll back down and let me win the auction. Maybe some men will even play the hero to save a beauty if I get attacked."

Luis, "..."

"That’s true... I’m sure many men would try to be your hero," he said, with nothing else to say.

Madam Sofia chuckled and then waved for them to leave.

Luis quickly stood up and followed behind her, letting her walk ahead so he would look like her assistant — just talking to her drew unpleasant stares from others.

Seeing her from behind was no less captivating — her neck, back, and legs were all mesmerizing.

When they reached the car, Madam Sofia got into the passenger seat without hesitation.

Apparently, she wanted him to keep driving.

Of course, Luis didn’t mind at all.

He began driving the car toward the city center, following Madam Sofia’s directions.

Inside the car, the woman was still busy enhancing her appearance.

She started spraying perfume on herself.

Luis felt dizzy from the thick scent that couldn’t spread properly inside the vehicle.

Luckily, Madam Sofia rolled down the window to diffuse the aroma — perhaps even she couldn’t handle how strong it was.

Of course, once the scent became lighter, it turned pleasantly fragrant.

Luis never thought his mind would be this affected by a middle-aged woman, but it really was happening.

This one could make young men fall for her.

Unfortunately, she already had a lover. And not just any lover — an S-Level Awakener. For those who knew, who would dare to flirt with her?

Given the city’s modest size, it didn’t take long before they arrived at their destination.

It was a grand, majestic building with a box-like shape, seemingly only one story high, much like the buildings in Abyss Den.

Luis saw many guests arriving, all in luxurious cars, whether sports or sedans.

Some even came on foot, having stayed near the auction site.

Madam Sofia suddenly put on large, dark sunglasses as they arrived. It added an air of mystery to her.

"Don’t get out yet," she said when Luis stopped the car in the parking lot.

Madam Sofia seemed to want to observe the situation first.

Luis saw Walker and the imperial academy students, including Velika Aris, being led by Riven.

Luis only recognized them, so he just watched as long as no one else stood out.

Madam Sofia also watched them but didn’t seem to care much.

"They’re the students from the school across from yours, right?" she asked.

"Yes!" Luis nodded. "Do you know any of them, Madam?"

Since Thomas seemed familiar with Walker, Luis suspected they were part of the same circle outside of school — and maybe even their families were connected.

If that was the case, Walker probably recognized Madam Sofia as Thomas’s mother.

Luis was slightly worried Walker might say something strange to Thomas about him, since Luis wasn’t supposed to have any connection to her or know anything about their organization.

"Walker, he’s the son of my former sister-in-law. But his family sides with the empire. I don’t like them," Madam Sofia said casually.

Luis rolled his eyes at that.

It seemed inevitable that he would be exposed for traveling to Hawaii with Madam Sofia — unless Walker died on this island.

"Look over there," Madam Sofia said again, motioning with her chin toward the sidewalk.

Luis saw the mixed-blood group there, now with an additional figure leading them — someone they all showed great respect toward.

He was still young, perhaps just a year older than Luis.

His appearance wasn’t overly flashy — dark blond hair, a handsome but not exaggeratedly striking face.

What stood out most was his cold and stern expression, clearly visible on his face.

He was clearly Tyler, the Awakener who had awakened a Tier 3 Spirit.

That alone meant his strength was comparable to a Primordial Monster.

If they were to fight and he was in human form, Luis feared he could break through his Black Diamond Armor defense.

The sense of threat he gave off was truly strong.

Though many Level C Awakeners had come, they seemed to avoid getting too close to Tyler.

’His heart must be worth a fortune. It’s priceless,’ Luis thought.

Still, he didn’t know if Tyler’s heart was compatible with imperial citizens’ DNA. Or perhaps it was compatible with both imperial and Velos citizens.

Of course, if it wasn’t compatible with either, it would be hard to find a buyer.

"Look, that man is dangerous too!" Madam Sofia then pointed at another person — a middle-aged man.

He is a resident of Velos, has a bald head, and appears simpler than most people.

Although he is wearing a suit and formal trousers, he seems unaccustomed to the attire, but he probably doesn’t want to look bad.

"His name is Paul, he has four Tier 2 Spirits..." Madam Sofia explained while Luis didn’t know how to react upon hearing the same name as his father’s.

Having four Tier 2 Spirits is certainly very surprising, making Luis wonder how he managed to gather so many Tier 2 Spirits.

"Does he have a bad personality too?" Luis asked.

Personality is the key. Someone might have great power, but whether they’re threatening or not depends on their personality.

"He’s not bad, but if something is too tempting for him, he might still resort to robbery. Power can always make people lose control," Madam Sofia replied.
