I Can Transform Into Any Monster -
Chapter 59: Dive
Chapter 59: Dive
’This woman must be plotting something devious,’ Luis thought.
He didn’t trust Isadonna; how could he trust her if she was considering marrying him?
This was too ridiculous and illogical.
High-ranking elites in the empire like him usually only married other elites to unite their power.
Even if they were too powerful, they would usually only accept princes who had the potential to become the next emperor.
(Mom, don’t trust her!) Luis replied to his mother’s message.
(Hey, why don’t you give it a try? Besides, she’s locked up in our house with no power left. Isn’t there any risk at all?) His mother’s reply came quickly.
What she said made sense. Everything seemed risk-free.
However, who knew what cunning plans that woman would use once they were married.
When they were making love and he was overcome by desire, there was a real chance she could stab him.
Her tricks shouldn’t be underestimated, even if she no longer had any power.
(Mom, she’s a dangerous woman, don’t let her influence you...) Luis replied.
(Hmph, you’re too cowardly!)
Luis, "..."
He knew he couldn’t argue with his mother, so he stopped sending messages.
However, he wanted to know the situation at the house, so he activated the robot camera again only to find Isadonna taking a nap on her bed.
She was sleeping on her side with her face turned away from the robot, so Luis couldn’t see her face.
Her calm breathing indicated that she was sleeping soundly.
Luis felt as though she had never experienced a nap before.
Of course, he didn’t care; he ordered the robot to wake her up.
The robot quickly acted, going to the side of the bed, then using its hands to shake her body.
How could Isadonna not wake up from her sleep?
She opened her eyes and turned around, looking disturbed.
For a moment, an expression of anger appeared on her face, making Luis chuckle.
How could her nature change? Clearly, she was still the cold-blooded woman she was.
"What’s going on?" she asked, staring at the robot’s camera.
She couldn’t completely hide her annoyance because her nap had been interrupted.
"Huhu, so where’s your soft side?" Luis asked, chuckling.
"I don’t need to act like that in front of you after you interrupted my nap. Do you know that this is the first time I’ve ever taken a nap?" she replied indifferently.
Luis was a bit surprised to hear that because his guess wasn’t wrong.
No wonder she looked so angry.
"I want to ask you something. What did you mean when you told my mother that you were considering marrying me?" Luis asked, bringing up the topic he wanted to discuss.
Isadonna’s eyebrows raised for a moment upon hearing that.
"This isn’t a big decision that you need to overthink," she replied. "I want to continue living my life as an ordinary person in this house. Getting married and having children early is part of an ordinary person’s life, and it’s something I can accept because your mother wants it. Of course, I can’t marry another man if I want to stay in this house. You are the only option because your mother’s main goal is to make me her daughter-in-law."
Luis, "..."
He couldn’t believe Isadonna had such strange thoughts.
Did she really want to continue living as an ordinary human?
Even if that’s the case, it doesn’t mean she has to marry. Besides, there are many ordinary women who don’t marry.
"If it weren’t for your mother’s wish, I wouldn’t have agreed so quickly. I would have thought about it longer," the woman continued.
"Really, you’re not opposed to marrying me, or is this part of your evil plan?" Luis asked sarcastically.
"Why would I need an evil plan? I don’t need any plans because I don’t want to leave this house. If there’s a plan, it’s for me to stay here," Isadonna replied, leaving Luis speechless.
He couldn’t figure out why things had become so irrational.
Isadonna, the cold-blooded, ambitious woman, actually just wanted to stay in his house, which should have been a prison for her.
"How can a woman like you agree to marry a man like me?" Luis said softly.
This was the part he couldn’t believe.
However, Isadonna seemed too honest, so he thought she was serious, even though he still believed this was part of her deception.
"As I said, you’re my only option because my world has become so narrow," the woman replied calmly.
"This sounds like nonsense in a silly dream," Luis said.
"Well, you don’t have to force yourself. If you don’t want to, that’s fine too, so I don’t have to worry about being slept with by you," Isadonna replied.
"Silly, how can you say you don’t mind being my wife but you’re worried about being slept with by me? Hahaha, it seems like you’re also afraid of being mistreated," Luis said, unable to help but laugh because the first time he brought her to his house, she seemed completely indifferent to anything he did to her.
"It’s not that kind of worry. I just don’t like it if you keep looking at me like I’m your prisoner," said Isadonna.
"Ohhh, then how do you want me to look at you? Should I look at you like a princess who I have to treat with respect and gentleness at all times?" asked Luis.
"I won’t beg you, but if you treat me well, I’ll treat you well too," Isadonna replied indifferently.
"If there’s nothing else you want to say, turn off this robot camera immediately," she added.
After saying that, she turned her body and went back to sleep.
Luis rolled his eyes, still wondering if she really didn’t mind being his wife.
"I don’t have to think about this now," he said as he turned off the robot camera.
After that, he got out of the car and walked to the beach behind the resort.
Of course, if you looked at the resort’s design, the rooms were actually designed to face the beach.
Luis just wanted to enjoy the beach atmosphere, so he stayed in his regular clothes amidst everyone else in swimwear.
Many were sunbathing, but Luis couldn’t help feeling uncomfortable when he saw so many couples kissing.
Some were young people his age.
As a virgin who was currently close to a beautiful woman and had another beautiful woman from the empire at his home, seeing people kissing made his mind wander.
Not liking those uncomfortable thoughts, he moved his phone to his Dimension Artifact before walking toward the sea, wanting to swim and dive since he saw many others doing so.
He still didn’t take off his shirt when he finally jumped into the sea.
He even started diving and swimming underwater until he went beyond the designated limit.
As an Awakener, he had no fear and could hold his breath for a long time.
Moreover, if he couldn’t hold his breath anymore, he could transform into a fish or even a sea monster.
Apparently, there were many large fish in the sea as he went further out.
He saw many sharks of such a large size that they seemed capable of swallowing a human whole.
As a human who had come there, he naturally caught the attention of the sharks, which stared at him with fierce eyes.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Without warning, they charged toward him.
At least five sharks charged, all opening their mouths, ready to bite him.
"Damn you," Luis said, striking the water in front of him in response.
A Level C Awakener like him had enough physical strength to create a large wave when he struck the water.
Instantly, a massive wave emerged beneath the water, slamming the sharks and sending them flying.
They appeared disoriented, their swimming motions resembling those of a drunken animal.
"Hahaha..." Luis laughed, feeling an odd sensation from subduing the wild beasts that usually terrified so many people.
Another thing that caught his attention was a fishing line that was currently pulling a large tuna.
It came from a large ship above the sea.
The fishing line was very close to Luis; he couldn’t help but grab it and pull it hard suddenly.
With the force of his pull, an ordinary person couldn’t possibly hold it. However, it was somehow managed to be held, and the result caused the ship to capsize, sending everyone on board falling into the water.
Luis, who was far below the surface, faintly heard curses filled with anger from the ship above.
A moment later, he finally saw the people who had fallen, including the one holding the fishing line.
He couldn’t help but be shocked because he recognized them—Walker and his group, the beast masters who attended the imperial high school.
Walker was the one holding the fishing rod.
As a Level C Awakener, he quickly spotted Luis underwater.
His expression, which had been angry, turned annoyed.
They didn’t have a deep-seated rivalry, but Luis had made him lose the Spirit he was after, and he was clearly jealous because Alice was so close to him.
Now, he had capsized his ship.
"Very Good!" he shouted, even though he was underwater.
Immediately after that, he waved his hand, and a huge black snake with a pair of small wings appeared. Luis remembered that it was the snake he had used to chase him and Alice when they were fighting over the Black Diamond Armor Spirit.
However, this time, the snake had three heads. It seemed to have evolved in power despite still being at Level 6.
