The chaos unfolded so quickly that Ani was utterly unprepared.

She had been immersed in the looking at adam, oblivious to her surroundings.

Suddenly, a sharp movement disrupted her focus.

Shreya, the polite girl who sat behind her in class and always spoke with such grace, lunged at her with a feral intensity.

Before Eric could recover, Leo joined the fray. He grabbed Shreya’s arms, pulling her backward and upsetting her balance.

Shreya stumbled and fell to the ground, her claws raking the air as she fought to break free. Eric seized the opportunity to pin her down, pressing his weight against her shoulders to limit her movements.

"Shreya! Snap out of it! What’s wrong with you?" Eric shouted, his voice laced with both fear and determination.

Despite their combined efforts, Shreya continued to thrash, emitting guttural, bone-chilling growls that sent shivers down everyone’s spines.

The sheer ferocity of her resistance left the group in stunned disbelief.

Meanwhile, Adam turned his attention to Ani, who was still trembling on the ground.

"Ani, look at me," Adam said firmly, his voice calm but commanding. "Look into my eyes."

He turned his attention back to the frenzied struggle with Shreya.

Eric and Leo were barely managing to hold her down, their strength waning against her relentless onslaught.

As Adam approached, he noticed something alarming: Shreya’s skin was beginning to smolder, faint wisps of smoke rising where sunlight touched her exposed flesh.

"No... it can’t be," Adam muttered, realization dawning on him. "Vampires. They’ve made it here."

"I can’t believe those vampires targeted one of my classmates. This is extremely worrying."

A surge of anger coursed through him, but he forced himself to stay composed.

Returning to the group, he draped the fabric over Shreya, shielding her from the sunlight.

"Cover her completely," Adam ordered. "Don’t let the sun touch her skin."

Leo obeyed, carefully wrapping the cloth around Shreya’s body while keeping her arms restrained.

But even with the protection, Shreya lashed out, her claws aimed directly at Eric’s face.

Adam acted swiftly, summoning his telekinetic ability to halt her attack mid-air. Shreya’s hand froze inches from Eric’s head, suspended by an invisible force.

"Enough," Adam said, his voice cold and commanding. His power surged, holding Shreya in place as she writhed against the telekinetic grip.
