I am the creator of New Life on the Earth
Chapter 133: Adam’s New Follower

Chapter 133: Adam’s New Follower

The wind howled gently as Adam descended from the sky, the forest stretching endlessly beneath him.

His dark outfit rippled in the breeze, the black mask on his face lending him an aura of mystery.

The serene green canopy parted to reveal an unexpected sight—a vast grassland nestled within the heart of the dense jungle. The sudden appearance of the lush expanse stopped Adam mid-air.

His eyes widened behind the mask as he took in the breathtaking scene. Trees stood tall along the edges of the grassland, their leaves swaying as though whispering secrets.

The vibrant greenery of the plains was alive, pulsing with an energy Adam had never before felt. A sense of fulfillment washed over him, warm and all-encompassing.

"This... this is my creation," he thought, awe-struck. The realization struck him like lightning. Within the dimensional plane he had forged, life was thriving—a world of trees, grass, and boundless vitality. For a fleeting moment, Adam felt like a father gazing at his child.

But he pushed the thoughts aside. Focus, he reminded himself, his demeanor hardening. He descended gently, his boots landing softly on the lush grass.

Before him loomed a colossal structure, stark and industrial, standing in jarring contrast to the natural beauty surrounding it.

The structure was immense, its metallic framework glinting under the dim sunlight. Enormous machines surrounded a massive pit at its center, their mechanical arms grinding relentlessly into the earth.

The machines were immense, some drilling deep into the ground, while others transported debris to the surface.

Around the pit stood tall cranes, their spindly arms stretching over the void like skeletal fingers.

Adam stepped closer, his sharp eyes scanning every detail. Figures moved around the site—dozens of them.

They weren’t human but members of the artificial intelligence species he had created.

Each wore an orange suit with glowing red lines running along its length, the illumination resembling veins of molten lava coursing through their bodies.

The red glow pulsed rhythmically, casting an eerie, otherworldly light across the area.

---

Adam’s steps were measured as he approached the structure. His thoughts raced. If there are soldiers here, I can’t afford to kill them. Neutralizing them without bloodshed is the only option.

Despite his caution, the workers paid him no mind. Even as he neared the base of the structure, they continued their tasks, utterly ignoring his presence.

Adam narrowed his eyes, puzzled. These beings, usually hyper-aware of their surroundings, moved with mechanical precision, their focus entirely on their tasks.

Driven by curiosity, Adam strode toward one of the workers, a stocky figure carrying a machine component. He reached out and tapped the worker’s shoulder, his gloved hand making contact with the glowing suit.

No response.

The worker moved away, seamlessly lifting a heavy machine part and heading toward another section of the site. Adam’s brows furrowed. Something was amiss.

He turned toward the pit at the heart of the structure. From where he stood, he could feel it—a foreboding, almost oppressive energy emanating from within. The air around the pit seemed to hum with power, sending shivers through Adam’s body.

He lifted off the ground once more, the soft thrumming of his mana-powered flight filling the air. Rising above the site, he hovered directly over the pit. The sight below was staggering.

The pit was vast, easily 500 meters wide, its depths shrouded in shadow. Even from above, Adam could feel the ominous energy radiating from within. A strange glow emanated from the depths, faint but unmistakably powerful.

"What is this...?" he murmured, his mind racing. Could it be some sort of fuel source? A reservoir of energy to power their city?

---

Adam’s gaze wandered from the pit to the surrounding area. His sharp eyes locked onto a series of advanced railway tracks leading away from the site.

The tracks gleamed under the faint light, their metallic surface crisscrossed by glowing blue lines that pulsed like lifeblood.

Bullet trains sped along the rails, their sleek forms carrying cargo containers toward the distant city he had left behind.

The containers, pristine white and heavily shielded, moved with precision, their contents hidden from view.

Adam’s mind pieced together the puzzle. This is how their system functions. The resources they mine here are transported to the city to sustain their advanced civilization.

As the realization dawned on him, a sudden voice cut through the mechanical hum of the site.

"Lord Adam."

The words sent a jolt through him. His head snapped around, searching for the source of the voice. The reverberation of his name echoed in his ears, and a chill ran down his spine.

Adam turned toward the source of the voice. His sharp eyes locked onto a massive structure in the distance.

The building, an imposing fortress of metal and glass, loomed over the surrounding machinery. Dozens of windows dotted its surface, each glowing faintly under the ambient light.

As he moved closer, one window in particular caught his attention. Behind it stood a figure—human in appearance but distinct in his features.

The man appeared to be in his thirties, with striking blue hair and equally vivid blue eyes. His gaze was fixed on Adam, a look of intense emotion painted across his face.

Adam’s curiosity deepened. He floated toward the window, his movements slow and deliberate. The man didn’t move, his piercing eyes following Adam’s every motion.

Finally, as Adam hovered just outside the glass, he pointed a gloved finger toward himself and asked, "Are you talking to me?"

The man’s reaction was immediate and startling. He dropped to his knees, his forehead touching the ground. His voice trembled with reverence as he said, "At last, Lord Adam. You have finally come."

Adam’s brows furrowed beneath his mask. Confusion twisted his thoughts. Lord Adam? The title felt foreign yet eerily familiar.

Without a word, he reached for the window, testing the glass with his hand. It was locked, resistant to any force he applied.

Annoyed, Adam clenched his fists and drove both hands into the wall beside the frame.

The structure groaned under the strain before the entire section of the wall gave way.

With a sharp pull, Adam ripped the window and its surrounding frame free, tossing it into the cavernous pit below.

Dust settled as Adam floated into the room, landing lightly on the floor. The man remained kneeling, his forehead still pressed against the ground.

"Stand up," Adam commanded, his voice firm but calm. "Look at me and explain everything. How do you know who I am?"

The man slowly lifted his head, his blue eyes glistening with unshed tears. He spoke in a voice tinged with both reverence and sorrow. "Lord Adam, perhaps you do not recognize me. I am UV2, the second eldest son of Pratham and Mikasa."

Adam froze, the words striking him like a bolt of lightning. His mind raced, piecing together fragmented memories. "You’re... Pratham’s child?" he asked, his voice softer now. "Where is Pratham? What is happening here?"

UV2’s expression darkened, his tears finally spilling over. "My father, Pratham, and my mother, Mikasa, dedicated their lives to your ideals. They carried forward your vision and led our species toward a brighter future. But their loyalty to you came at a cost. They were captured—taken as prisoners."

Adam clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. He had suspected something had gone wrong, but hearing it confirmed was a different matter entirely. Still, a flicker of relief eased the tension in his chest. At least they’re alive.

"Who captured them?" Adam demanded, stepping closer to UV2. His voice was sharper now, filled with urgency.

UV2 hesitated, his hands trembling as he wiped his tears. "I do not know where they are being held," he admitted. "But I know they won’t be freed easily. If you do not act swiftly, they won’t survive. My elder brother—UV1—has made sure of it. He has already begun preparing to... to execute them."

The words sent a cold chill down Adam’s spine. He took hold of UV2’s shoulder, his grip firm but steady. "Tell me everything," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.

UV2 took a shaky breath, his expression tightening with tension. He nodded, preparing to divulge the details of a story Adam wasn’t sure he was ready to hear.

And with that, the Chapter ended, the weight of the revelations hanging heavily in the air.
