Chapter 115: The Commission vs The Union

---

Hang stood still, his piercing gaze locked on Adam, who stood a short distance away, studying the four individuals before him.

Adam’s attention lingered briefly on Hang, Zora, Gus, and Atlas, piecing together the reality of the situation.

These men were clearly members of The Commission.

A voice, calm yet commanding, broke the silence.

"You’re a power holder," Hang said, his eyes narrowing at Adam. "And yet you dare attack another power holder? Do you have any idea of the consequences this will bring?"

Seeing this, Hang becomes very angry but he is analyzing Adam from top to bottom, he does not want to attack Adam blindly in anger

Adam did not respond. He stood motionless, his black-clad figure radiating an air of quiet defiance.

Hang’s eyes traced every detail of him, from the ominous mask that concealed his face to his intimidating posture.

There was no fear—no sign of retreat or hesitation in Adam’s stance. This was not someone easily intimidated.

Hang’s lips curled into a smirk as he turned to his comrades. "We need to make an example out of him. Let’s show what happens to those who dare stand against The Commission."

Hang thinks that now Adam will get scared and will back off but just the opposite happens, Adam doesn’t step back, he still remains at his place, seeing him Hang is getting very frustrated at this time.

His words lit a spark among his allies. Gus and Atlas exchanged nods before swiftly moving to encircle Adam. Zora’s face twisted into a malevolent grin as he moved to block Adam’s escape from another direction.

As the four closed in on him, Zora’s thoughts turned dark. Now you’re finished,he thought, imagining Adam’s defeat. After I kill you, I’ll go after Ani and her entire family.None of them will survive.

The circle tightened. Adam, standing at the center, exhaled deeply.

His eyes shifted to Hang, who exuded an aura of immense power, far stronger than the rest.

Gus, on the other hand, was visibly nervous. He could sense Adam’s overwhelming energy.

He feels that Adam is stronger than Hang as he is releasing a lot of energy from his body which he has never seen before.

Gus hesitated, wanting to warn Hang, but before he could speak, Hang raised his voice. "Let’s teach him a lesson!"

But after hearing about the hang, he becomes afraid and runs away from the hang and surrounds Adam from the other side where he cannot escape.

Without question, the others prepared to strike.

---

As the confrontation escalated, the onlookers scattered. Fear rippled through the small crowd that had gathered.

Many fled the scene, unwilling to become collateral damage.

A few lingered at a safe distance, their phones raised, recording the unfolding drama.

Adam remained composed, his sharp eyes watching the chaos unfold. He waited patiently, his posture calm yet ready for action.

Hang’s voice cut through the tension. "You’ve made a grave mistake challenging The Commission. The consequences will be severe."

A faint smile touched Adam’s lips as he responded, his voice measured yet sharp. "And you’ve made a mistake too, underestimating The Union."

Adam speaks to Hang for the first time but his answer is so strong that all the members of The- Commission are shocked.

Hang’s confidence faltered, his expression momentarily stunned. "The Union?" he repeated, his voice betraying a hint of disbelief.

He did not think that the power holder in front of him would be a member of the union, now he thinks "If we attack him then the union can attack us"

But Hang consoles himself and says, "We will see what happens if someone attacks us."

Gus and Zora were equally shocked. Zora’s smirk vanished as he muttered, "The Union? How...?"

Hang’s stance shifted slightly, his hand lowering as doubt crept into his mind. "You’re a member of The Union?"

Adam’s eyes glinted with determination. "Yes. And we’ve come to stop you. Your hunger for power blinds you to the suffering of ordinary people. That ends today."

Hang’s mind raced. If The Union knew of their deal with the government, the stakes had just skyrocketed. But he couldn’t show weakness.

"It doesn’t matter who you are," Hang said, his voice steadying. "Even if you’re from TheUnion, you’ve attacked one of our members. You’ll pay the price for that."

Hang’s allies braced themselves, their powers ready to strike.

---

Zora took a step forward, his voice rising in a warning. "Watch out! He has telekinesis!"

The warning sent a ripple through the group, but Adam stood unmoving.

Hang raised his hand, his fingers glowing as light began to radiate from them.

Zora turned to Adam, only to find himself surrounded by impenetrable darkness.

His breath caught in his throat as the world around him dissolved into shadow.

From within the void, enormous, otherworldly eyes blinked open, staring directly at Zora. He froze, terror coursing through him as countless mouths emerged, their wide, toothy grins mocking him.

"Pathetic," the mouths hissed in unison, their laughter echoing in the darkness. "Such a worthless loser."

Zora dropped to his knees, clutching his ears as the voices overwhelmed him. "No! I’m not a loser! I’m not!" he screamed, his voice cracking under the weight of his fear.

---

Outside the darkness, Atlas reacted quickly. His hands moved in a blur as he conjured a glowing barrier around Zora.

Despite his efforts, the barrier did little to break Adam’s hold on Zora’s mind.

Hang, undeterred, aimed his glowing fingers at Adam. A searing beam of light shot toward Adam with blinding speed.

Adam vanished in an instant, teleporting just as the attack passed through where he had been standing.

The laser veered off course, striking the ground near Gus with a deafening explosion.

The impact sent Gus sprawling backward, his body skidding across the ground. Though dazed and bruised, he avoided serious injury.

Hang straightened, his eyes narrowing. The battlefield had shifted, and Adam remained an enigma—a force neither he nor his allies could yet comprehend.

And so, the stage was set for a clash that would reverberate far beyond these factory walls.
