Chapter 459: Chapter 457 Let me see, Yishenmali

The next day.

Starbucks pushed the meal cart, delivering breakfast to Yishenmali.

When she opened the door to Yishenmali’s room, she saw him sitting on a chair, feet propped high on the table, his left hand resting on his head, his right arm in a splint hung across his chest,—looking utterly indifferent.

"Put your feet down, Yishenmali, you have no manners like that!" Starbucks said.

"I’m called Cha Na!" Cha Na said.

Cha Na spoke in his native tongue which Starbucks wouldn’t understand without wearing an earpiece, as it sounded almost like singing.

"Don’t be ungrateful, you still don’t understand the meaning behind this name," Starbucks said.

"I want to return to my homeland, I want revenge..." Cha Na said.

Starbucks walked into the room and placed the tray on the table, then swatted Cha Na’s calf, saying, "He must have his reasons for not helping you."

"He’s a coward!" Cha Na said.

Starbucks laughed and said, "If He were a coward, you’d be dead by now. Eat this food, then come learn Yin language with me!"

Cha Na swept his leg over, kicking the tray along with the porcelain bowls and plates to the floor, coffee spilled everywhere, and the sandwiches smeared with mustard and salad spilled too, clinking and clattering in a mess.

"Hey!!" Starbucks screamed, stepping back with her hands over her apron.

Cha Na, completely indifferent, crossed his legs and looked at the ceiling, sulking.

"Then starve! I’ll come in half an hour to teach you Yin language, and don’t you say you’re hungry then," Starbucks yelled angrily.

"I won’t learn!" Cha Na said.

"You have no choice! Either learn Spanish with Rada Gan or Yin language with me! Otherwise... otherwise... humph!" Starbucks left the room abruptly after dropping these words.

Just then, the door was gently pushed open and Wei Tianyang stood at the doorway, followed by Baphomet.

Starbucks, startled, quickly bowed to him, saying, "He... he knocked over the food."

Baphomet squeezed into the room from between Wei Tianyang’s legs, picked up a sandwich, and started munching on it noisily.

Wei Tianyang wasn’t mad but softly said, "Tonight, call the others and come to my room."

After saying this, he pointed at Baphomet.

Baphomet, with the sandwich in his mouth and tail between his legs, ran out of the room and jumped into corporeal reality, Wei Tianyang also left.

Cha Na watched Starbucks clean the floor and take away the dishes, then left the room. Only then did he jump off the stool and quickly ran to the door, peering out into the corridor.

Confirming no one was there, he left the room and went next door.

He knocked on the door, and a boy’s voice came from inside.

"Who?"

"It’s me, Cha Na."

The door gently opened a crack, and Cha Na slipped inside.

Inside the room was a boy about Cha Na’s age but slightly younger, around 13 years old.

And another just over 10 years old, with blonde hair and a pair of big blue eyes.

These two children had both been brought here recently; their native language was similar to Cha Na’s, technically different regional dialects of the same language family, so the three could communicate.

"Brother," the older boy said.

His name was Rum, and the boy next to him was named Gus; they hadn’t known each other previously.

"We need to think of a way to escape quickly. Wei Tianyang is no good deity; he’s a devil," Cha Na said.

"I just want to go back and find my parents quickly, they’re still at the border, by now maybe the border police have already caught them..." Rum sounded anxious.

"I’m also trying to find a way, but we can’t just confront him head-on," Cha Na said.

"Did he really cause those injuries on you? I heard from my dad that Wei Tianyang is a god of justice and war, and he saved many people at Libitelli," Rum asked.

"He’s a sadist. If you defy him, you’ll end up like me—with a broken arm. I guarantee it," Cha Na said.

Rum and Gul were both a little scared.

"Did you eat the food he gave you?" Cha Na asked.

He looked towards the table, which was completely empty.

"Of course, we ate it. Skipping breakfast would leave us hungry, and these days it’s the only time we’ve had a full stomach," Rum said.

"Be careful... he might tamper with the food, like adding brainwashing drugs. There’s a war going on in our area, and the enemy deliberately transports problematic food. I remember a group of guerrillas who seized a batch and were all poisoned to death," Cha Na said.

Young Gul’s mouth fell open, and his eyes widened in terror. A few seconds later, he started crying urgently.

"Gul! Stop crying! We are big kids now!" Rum said a bit angrily.

"Will he hit us?" Gul asked.

"As long as you do as he says, he won’t hit you. But unless you want to be imprisoned in this dark house forever, we’ll always have to face him," Cha Na said.

Rum also began to feel sad and said, "I miss mom. Dad would often say when we were on the road that once we got to the new place, we could start over..."

"Why is your country at war? Is it also ethnic conflicts?" Cha Na asked.

"I don’t know. One day, the adults just started arguing incessantly, and then, they began fighting. Dad said, ’Let those bastards fight it out. I won’t die for those old men.’ Then he took me and mom and ran," Rum said.

"There’s always a reason for a war, but it sounds... like your war is a bit unreasonable," Cha Na said.

"Brother, you’re so mature. I don’t know why adults fight. Can’t they just talk it out?" Gul asked.

"The war ends only when the opposition is wiped out," Cha Na said.

Rum and Gul fell silent, finding Cha Na quite scary.

"Alright, if you want to see your parents, you need to escape from here. Otherwise, we’ll only be imprisoned until death," Cha Na said.

"But... the food here is delicious, and there’s a sister who plays with us, reads to us, and watches TV with us. I want to bring mom and dad here. It’s pretty good living here," Gul said.

"Stop dreaming, Gul! Why didn’t Wei Tianyang bring your parents here then? He doesn’t care at all. He only wants us," Cha Na said.

"But... why?" Rum was a bit puzzled.

Cha Na didn’t know either. He opened his mouth as if unsure what to say, then closed it again.

"What does he want?" Rum speculated.

"I don’t know. I just want to go back... to avenge my people. I don’t care what he wants," Cha Na shook his head and said.

Just then, Wei Tianyang suddenly appeared in the room.

The three children were so frightened that they fell to the floor. Gul started crying loudly, and Rum also cried and hid under the table.

Cha Na’s breathing was rapid, and he leaned nervously against the table, staring at him without daring to shift his gaze.

"You want revenge? Let me see if you have the power," Wei Tianyang said.

He reached out his hand, and Cha Na’s body moved towards him like a magnet, and Wei Tianyang grabbed his throat.

Wei Tianyang carried him and flew out the window, crossing Heisai State at a speed of Mach 29, heading towards Earth Sea.

In just a few minutes, they were back in Cha Na’s homeland; it was still 5 PM there, a muddy battlefield where twelve soldiers were patrolling a country road.

Wei Tianyang, holding Cha Na, flew down, and the moment they touched ground, a soldier’s body burst apart, intestines and organs spilling everywhere, killed instantly.

The remaining soldier raised his rifle aimed at Wei Tianyang. When he saw his dark face, the four red eyes, and the pair of black horns, he was so scared that he urinated himself.

The rifle in the soldier’s hands disintegrated into parts, and a handgun in his holster turned into a lump of iron. A dagger hanging on his chest flew out and hovered in front of Cha Na.

Wei Tianyang released Cha Na and said, "Go on, Yishenmali, kill him. He’s now unarmed, and you have a knife. Let me see if you have the power to take revenge."
