Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem
Chapter 212: Welcome to My Lounge

Chapter 212: Welcome to My Lounge

Neuro stood frozen, the words still echoing in his head.

"What... wait... no. You can’t just say that and make it true."

Blazren casually cracked his neck and shrugged like it was the easiest thing in the world.

"Already did. Filed the request earlier today as soon as I became AA-Rank hero."

He walked forward, his boots thudding against the floor with each step.

The AA-Rank heroes around the room went quiet, watching the exchange unfold.

"You also remember who I am, don’t you, Neuro?"

Blazren stopped just a step away.

"Top-performing director. Highest mission completion rate across all zones."

"Branch discipline ranking? Number one. Complaint resolution? Zero."

Neuro’s brow twitched. He remembered the records.

Even as an A-Rank hero, Blazren held more authority than most.

Now that he was AA-Rank...

Blazren pulled out his wrist screen.

A new ping echoed. He raised it high with a grin.

"Oh, would you look at that. A message just arrived."

"Why don’t you read it for me, Neuro?"

Neuro hesitated. Then his visor beeped. He tapped the air, opening the message.

His eyes scanned fast, narrowing as each line confirmed the worst.

Blazren leaned in slightly.

"Judging by your face, I guess it’s official now."

He spun the screen to show the others. A holographic badge glowed:

[Blazren – AA-Rank Hero]

[Assigned Role: Regional Director – AA Rank Hero Lounge Director.]

Blazren laughed and clapped his hands once.

"That’s right. Not just a hero now. I’m in charge here."

Neuro closed the screen with a sigh.

"Damn it."

Blazren patted him on the shoulder.

"Don’t worry."

"I won’t make you clean the bathrooms... unless you complain too much."

Skybrand whispered to one of the other heroes.

"Did he really just take over the lounge in under five minutes?"

Blazren pointed to the group.

"Neuro. Skybrand. Everyone else. Meeting room. Now."

"We’ve got things to discuss. New threat level adjustments, mission distribution, and—oh yeah—protocol changes."

Neuro muttered under his breath.

"This is harassment."

Blazren grinned as he pushed open the meeting room door.

"Nope. This is chain of command."

---

Zain stepped into BO-4.

The area was dim, crowded, and noisy. Thugs and low-ranking villains filled the alleys.

He looked around with a grin.

"This place is perfect. So many useless scum just wandering around."

"No one will notice if a few disappear."

He moved through the crowd, his hood up, blending in.

He didn’t rush.

Every step was calm and quiet, like he was taking a walk in the park.

He pulled up his system screen.

"Time to test the new beast-class serum."

Then he paused, thinking.

"But... what if I can make it cheaper? And maybe... simpler?"

He tilted his head slightly, eyes still on the system window.

"System, I want to make a new version of the beast-class serum."

He tapped the air, sliding open more menus.

"This version should still have a one hundred percent success rate."

"But once injected, the person becomes mindless."

"No thoughts, no goals. Just a beast."

He stared at the options, then continued.

"And don’t give them a strong class. Just the weakest beast class possible."

"Something with claws or teeth, maybe slow movement. Nothing smart. Just pure trash."

The system responded.

---

[Yes] [No]

---

Zain crossed his arms and grinned.

"So it worked. The price dropped to half, and now anyone injected turns into a dumb beast."

He touched the floating "Yes" button.

---

[Beast Class Serum (Mindlock Variant) ×4 added to System Storage]

---

He opened the system storage and saw four small injectors appear, each filled with glowing green fluid.

Zain reached out and grabbed one. The injector was warm in his hand.

"Now let’s see how well this works on trash."

---

Zain walked deeper into the dirty streets of BO-4.

Trash lined the ground. Broken lights flickered above.

The place was crawling with low-level thugs, addicts, and washed-up villains.

It was perfect for his plan.

He stopped at a corner and opened his system storage.

A glowing injector appeared in his hand.

Inside the glass tube, the green serum pulsed like it was alive.

"One test. That’s all I need," Zain muttered as he slipped it into his coat.

He kept walking until he spotted someone slumped against a wall.

The man was old, maybe in his sixties. His hair was messy, his beard uneven.

The smell of alcohol and rotten food clung to him.

Next to him was a half-empty bottle and a small bag of crushed pills.

Zain raised an eyebrow.

"Perfect."

He didn’t need to fake kindness this time.

There was no one watching, and the man was too out of it to care.

Zain moved in quickly.

The man blinked as he noticed someone standing in front of him.

"What... who the hell are you?"

Zain didn’t answer.

He stepped behind him in a flash and struck the back of his neck.

The man dropped to the ground with a grunt, unconscious.

Zain knelt beside the body.

He pulled out the injector and pressed it into the man’s neck.

"Enjoy your new life."

The serum emptied into the man’s veins with a faint hiss.

His body twitched slightly, then went still again.

Zain stood up, brushing his coat off.

He looked down at the man’s unmoving body and chuckled.

"Now let’s see what kind of beast you’ll become."

He turned and leaned against the wall, crossing his arms.

"This should be fun."
