Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem -
Chapter 211: Too Hot for Admin
Chapter 211: Too Hot for Admin
Zain stood on top of a building, arms crossed, watching the battlefield below.
He watched Blazren walk away from the ashes with calm steps.
A smirk slowly formed on Zain’s face.
"So your class is [Blazefang Sentinel], huh?"
He leaned forward, resting one hand on his knee.
"Not bad, old man. Not bad at all."
Zain chuckled and straightened his posture.
He opened his system screen.
"So, Scavratt... your rust power was annoying. But thanks for the points."

[Hack Initiation: Corpse Absorption]
[Target: Scavratt – AA-Rank Corpse (With Class)]
[Hack Points Gained: +3,000,000]
[Status: Absorption Complete]
---
Zain raised an eyebrow.
"Three million just for that? And that’s with him being weak to fire."
He rubbed his chin, thinking.
"So a villain with a class gives me three million hack points."
"That’s a lot, 15 or 20 times more than basic AA-Rank corpse."
He opened another window on the system and began typing ideas into the notes.
"If I use the duplicated serum on captured villains..."
"Let them awaken... then kill them... I win either way."
He stopped, looking toward the shadows behind a collapsed billboard.
His eyes narrowed.
"Hm. So you showed up after all."
From the corner of the ruins, Zain spotted a familiar figure—the black wolfman.
He crouched where Scavratt had fallen.
His claws dug through the ash, and his jaw clenched tight.
Zain watched silently.
"So you’re angry. Is it because you lost a friend?"
"No... It’s the ingredient, isn’t it?"
The wolfman suddenly punched the ground in frustration.
A small shockwave kicked dust into the air.
Zain chuckled to himself.
"Yep. Ingredient."
He looked at the system again and whispered under his breath.
"Too bad. That ingredient’s already mine."
The system screen faded.
Zain stepped back into the shadows, blending with the dark behind a rooftop pillar.
"This changes a lot. Now I know your little project works... but it’s incomplete."
"You’re testing it on beasts. On instinct-driven freaks like Scavratt."
Zain smirked again.
"What if I use it on smarter targets? What if I shape the class myself?"
He cracked his knuckles slowly.
"First... I’ll test this on some random street thugs."
"Inject the serum, let them go wild, then take them down. The serum isn’t expensive to make."
His fingers tapped against his wrist.
"Let’s try this in the lower zones first. No one will notice if a few villains explode."
He turned away from the rooftop edge and walked down the stairwell, disappearing from view.
"Let’s start hunting."
---
Blazren stepped into the AA-Rank Hero Lounge, the doors sliding open with a quiet hiss.
The room was filled with chatter, screens, and the presence of elite heroes going over missions and strategies.
Blazren walked slowly, taking in the space.
It was larger and better-equipped than the ones he was used to.
He spotted Neuro standing near a corner, surrounded by a small group of AA-Rank heroes.
Blazren’s steps quickened.
"Neuro, what the hell are you doing? There’s chaos out there and you’re just standing here?"
The room fell quiet. Conversations dropped. Heads turned.
Neuro raised his head. His visor flickered once. He scanned the figure walking toward him.
His eyes narrowed.
"Blazren?"
He took a step forward, frowning as if trying to process the situation.
"I don’t know why you’re shouting in here, but this is the AA-Rank lounge."
He glanced at the other heroes. Then his gaze settled back on Blazren.
"This place is restricted. Only AA-Rank heroes are allowed."
"Even if you’re a branch director, you don’t have clearance to walk in whenever you want."
Blazren didn’t stop walking until he was face to face with Neuro.
His fists were clenched.
His body was still slightly scorched from the earlier battle, heat rising faintly from his armor.
"You think I care about clearance right now?"
He tapped his wrist console.
A glowing ID hologram appeared above it—blue, bold, marked AA-Rank.
"Read it."
Neuro’s eyes widened. His visor scanned the ID again, and this time, it confirmed.
"You... you were promoted?"
Blazren’s voice didn’t lower.
"Damn right. Just now. After that chaos that you ignored."
Neuro looked at the data scrolling on his visor.
He blinked, processing the report faster than most could read.
"I see. So that’s what happened. A ratman went on a rampage... because of a hero."
Blazren crossed his arms.
"Yeah. And why the hell weren’t you moving out there? Huh?"
Neuro turned slightly to look at the small group of AA heroes behind him.
None of them spoke. They just stared at the tension between the two.
"I had something to handle."
Neuro kept his voice level as he turned back to Blazren.
"When I checked the alert, the situation didn’t show civilian casualties."
"Only ten B-Rank heroes dead."
"The attacker was targeting someone specific. Not random destruction."
Blazren’s jaw tightened. He took a step forward.
"That makes it okay to do nothing?"
Neuro held his ground.
"Not nothing. I gathered information. Watched the pattern."
"Then I saw something unexpected. You. A branch director."
"Not just holding the line—but awakening a class. That alone turned the tide."
Blazren’s glare didn’t fade.
"You’re dodging the point."
Neuro’s visor shimmered again.
"I’m not. You’re angry because I didn’t act. But my logic was sound."
"No civilians were lost. You became AA-Rank. The crisis passed."
Blazren clenched his fists. His shoulders tensed.
"I almost died out there."
Neuro nodded slowly.
"But you didn’t."
Blazren’s voice rose.
"You’re missing it. Heroes died. Ten of them."
"And you just stood here like it didn’t matter!"
Neuro’s expression twitched. For once, his voice wasn’t cold—it was quiet.
"I did what I was trained to do."
"I analyzed risk. Prioritized outcomes. And I waited for confirmation."
Blazren turned away and ran a hand through his hair.
"Damn it..."
He looked back.
"That’s not how a hero should think."
Neuro didn’t answer immediately.
He looked at the other heroes again. They were still watching, waiting.
Blazren stepped forward and cracked his knuckles.
"Alright then. If that’s how you work... I’ll just make sure you change."
He jabbed a thumb at his chest.
"Starting now, I’m the new director of this AA-Rank lounge."
Neuro froze. One full second passed. Then another.
"What."
