’I don’t know. Want to find out?’ He asked, because he clearly wanted to mind his own business, but if Nancy insisted on checking up on him, he’d have to go.

Nancy got up.

Elder Peter gave Daniel a look, but he only snickered.

"Well, it’s not like we can do anything," Koan said as he sat back down when Elder Peter returned to his position. "We just have to hope Naomi knows what she’s doing, I don’t think she’d want anyone to interfer."

Daniel’s frown deepened when the Shaman arrived with a glass of wine.

Daniel sighed. This would be the first time he would try to talk to her after what happened at the office yesterday.

His ears were abnormally bigger than a normal human’s and the color of his eyes were deep-set gold with a black slash In each one, giving him this frightening hungry look as he scrutinized her.

Without warning, claws spread out, he leaped forward, towards her.
