Chapter 79: Don’t Get Silly, Wrap Your Willie

Chapter 79: Don’t Get Silly, Wrap Your Willie

Deke walked up to the front door of the cottage shared by Charlie and Elton and little Ray, knocked twice, and walked right on in.

"Good afternoon, it’s you again." Elton replied.

"Yes, it is, Elton. It definitely is, and today I came bearing gifts."

Elton almost passed out when Raymond walked to the door. He couldn’t run, he didn’t know what to do—he was boxed in. His dream had just walked to the door. He’d only seen a photo of him, but wow, in real life he was even more.

"Elton, I hope you don’t mind—I brought my intern with me for the weekend, and he’ll be here for four days. Who knows, maybe you two will get to know each other. You can show him around the place. If he likes it enough, he just might decide to stay—it would make my life a whole lot easier. I’d be here, my work would be here, my intern would be here, Charlie’s here, and of course you’re always here."

Elton didn’t know what to do. He held his hand out toward Raymond, who took it, turned it over, and kissed the top of his hand.

"It is a very nice pleasure to meet you, Elton. I’ve seen videos and photos of you, but seeing you definitely does take my breath away."

"Thank you. Come in and have a seat." Elton managed to squeak out.

"As long as it’s beside you, I have no problem." Raymond got a little bold.

Charlie couldn’t believe what he was seeing—Elton was sitting on the sofa, and next to him was a gorgeous young man. Now Deke was no throw away, but this gentleman here was a model.

Elton asked him what his job entailed and how he became employed with Hawthorne Enterprises. Raymond had no problem telling him where he came from, how he was raised, what his life was before he came to Hawthorne Enterprises as an intern, how it was to work with Deke, and what a good man he really was.

Little Ray started to fuss in the other room. Charlie was going to be Charlie no matter what—he brought little Ray in and proceeded to hand him and a bottle to Raymond.

"Feed him. You’ll need to get practice."

Raymond was in heaven. He was holding little Ray and getting to feed him. Elton scooted up closer, and they sat together as Ray nursed.

Deke could not let this moment go by—he had his video on, filming the entire event. Little Ray was the star. He took hold of Raymond’s two fingers on his bad hand—he only had three and a thumb, the little finger was never developed—and he held them close to his face as he nursed.

"Looks like somebody’s claiming his own father." Charlie eased up to Deke. "A Genman child is a very good judge of true character, and he senses how good Raymond really is."

It wasn’t long before Ray drained the bottle.

"He needs to be burped." Elton mentioned.

Just like a pro, Raymond put him on his shoulder and started to pat his back. The kid let out a belch that would rattle walls.

"Shall I put him back down now that he’s been fed?"

"He’ll sleep some more, probably another hour if you do." Elton responded. "I’ll show you to the room."

Raymond couldn’t help but feel for Elton as he limped to the bedroom. He laid little Ray in the bed and pulled the covers up gently on him. As Elton stood beside him, he placed his arm around Raymond’s waist.

"He’s beautiful, isn’t he?"

"Only because he’s got a great dad like you." Raymond smiled.

Elton blushed and realized where his arm was. "I’m sorry—I didn’t mean to touch you like that. I’m so sorry. It’s just that it felt natural, you watching over Ray the way you did after you laid him down."

Raymond decided to take a chance and turned around, took Elton into his arms, and kissed him passionately.

Elton stood there in shock as this human who he had just met kissed him. Not only had he fed his child, burped him, and put him to bed, but then he took him into his arms and kissed him.

"I’m sorry that shocked you, but ever since I saw your video and your photo on Deke’s phone, I just wanted to kiss you and let you know that you are worthy of love." Raymond took a step back.

Elton decided to get out of his comfort zone, stepped up to Raymond, and kissed him back. Raymond wrapped his arms around him and kissed him even deeper. Charlie stuck his head into the room.

"Oh boy!" he remarked and quickly backed out.

After about five minutes of waiting, Raymond and Elton walked out of the room. Raymond was holding Elton’s hand.

"I don’t know if you’re a smooth operator or a fast operator, but just don’t wreck the train." Deke made the comment. Elton and Raymond both blushed.

"I’m sorry I got carried away. Maybe it was just the baby there, or Elton’s hand around my waist, or being that close to someone that you know is your future. Sometimes you just go for it, but I’m not ashamed—I fell for both of them." Raymond apologized.

"Okay, now that we got introductions all the way, I’ve been cooking since I got off work. Raymond, you and Elton have a seat and cool off. The four of us are going to have supper, and we’re going to discuss how this is going to go from here on out."

---

"You’re both adults, no doubt. You’re both young, but you’re adults. When you have sex together, it better be protected—I ain’t got enough to feed two little ones, plus he’s still in recovery. No unintended trips to the bedroom. If you’re gonna smooch, kiss, suck face, play tonsil hockey, or whatever, it’s going to be out in the open. One plus one equals three, if you know what I mean. And as hot as the two of you are, I don’t need to put out fires and have to explain to Mr. Z why you’re swelled up again, Elton." Charlie started out.

"Deke and I are taking it slow, and there’s nothing going on here either. We all need to take it slow and remember: ’Don’t get silly, wrap your Willie’—you know that little phrase. Or even ’Before you poke the hole, wrap the pole’ or ’No glove, no love.’"

"You, Charlie, are trying to lecture somebody on their urges." Deke started laughing.

"You damn right, Deke. I don’t want Elton to follow what my example was."

"Am I missing something here?" Raymond looked up and asked.

"As long as we’re all out in the open, Raymond: Good Time Charlie—break him open like a shotgun and load him up. How about ’Bare butt, mount him, let them all come aboard’—the river runs through it, and everybody runs through Good Time Charlie."

"You see, Raymond, at eighteen I got lost, and whoever was near me is who got me. If there was a conga line, they could all have me. Even by Genman standards, I was a hoe. And I decided one day I was worth more than that—I was somebody, not just a warm place to leave your kid."

"I met Deke at the party. He introduced himself to me, and I lost my heart. I decided this time I was going to do it right—I wasn’t going to let myself be bent over and bred by a human like every Genman that had come before him. I wanted it to be something special. And Paul told me that just because I got a past doesn’t mean it rules me."

"Elton didn’t have a choice, and it happens to some of us Genmen—we get caught in a situation that we can’t get away from, and our genetics take over."
