Chen Li, hearing Chen Zi’s explanation, also nodded his head.

"However, I need to make sure you’re actually the person Elena told me about, so I need some kind of proof," Chen Mei said, a hint of mischief in her expression.

Although Feng wasn’t entirely sure whether she was being serious or just messing with him, he didn’t see any reason for her to lie.

After thinking for a few seconds, he reached into his bag of holding and brought out the "gift" Elena had given him before she left.

"Is this proof enough?" Feng asked, raising his right hand so she could clearly see what he held.

It was a golden medallion featuring the design of a dragon encircling a golden spear, set against the backdrop of a large city.

A faint spiritual energy pressure emanated from it.

When Chen Mei saw the medallion, her eyes widened in shock, as if she couldn’t believe Elena had actually given something this precious to Lin Feng.

She stared at it for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and saying, "That’s enough. I can’t believe she gave you something like that.

You should keep it in your Bag of Holding and make sure you don’t lose it.

If you do, Elena is definitely going to be angry at you."

Lin Feng, noticing her reaction, had a strange expression on his face as he put the medallion back into his Bag of Holding.

I kind of expected this thing to be important, but I didn’t think it was this important—important enough to make the Young Miss of the Chen Clan react like that.

As he secured the medallion, he couldn’t shake the feeling that his Bag of Holding was burning, like he was carrying some kind of priceless treasure that everyone around him was just waiting to steal.

Chen Mei held a thoughtful expression, her purple eyes shimmering like majestic gems under the afternoon sun.

Her black hair swayed gently in the wind, and even Lin Feng had to admit that, in terms of beauty, the young miss of the Chen Clan was undoubtedly on par with Elena.

Chen Mei’s purple eyes sparkled as an idea seemed to form in her mind.

Slowly, she stepped toward Lin Feng, closing the distance between them until they were only a few inches apart.

Feng’s heart started to pound.

While he could be considered bold when it came to girls, that was mostly because he lacked the social awareness to gauge the proper distance between men and women.

He simply said whatever was on his mind without worrying about the consequences.

But now, faced with Chen Mei’s sudden approach, he couldn’t help but think—
