YUNO could finally breathe after leaving Chief Kim Munhee’s office.

Dealing with the chief really drains me.

"Noh Yuno, I didn’t get half of the things Kim Munhee said. And I hated how smug the sly fox looked as if he was bragging that he solved your problem for you," Ki Gayoon explained. "You didn’t forget that you said you’d explain everything to me, right?"

"Yes, but let’s talk about it once we arrive at Busan," Yuno said in a tired voice. "Let’s visit Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi first. I’ll fix him quickly before Chief Kim changes her mind."

"Are you afraid of the chief?"

"Of course, I am. Chief Kim is the big boss of all Guides."

"You’re afraid of the chief who’s just a mid-ranking Guide, and yet you don’t even stutter when you talk back to me?"

"I’m afraid of you, Hyung," Yuno said, and it wasn’t like he was lying. "Running my mouth is just my defense mechanism."

Ki Gayoon looked at Yuno with a knot on his forehead, and then he sighed. "Alright," he said, his voice softer than usual. "But I can’t leave you here alone."

"Then I’ll babysit our dear Yuno~"

Yuno turned around and beamed when he saw the familiar face that he hadn’t seen in a while. "Leehan Hyung."

Ki Gayoon was annoyed after seeing Matthew and Lee Sarang about to get into a serious fight.

He really didn’t care about the two, but if those kids really ended up fighting, then the building would have collapsed. Even if some parts of the National Guide Bureau were made by Beom-seok Constructions, two naturally awakened S-Class Espers could still make it collapse.

Matthew was about to protest, but he shut his mouth when Gayoon glared at him.

If it wasn’t for Noh Yuno, I wouldn’t babysit these two.

"It’s okay to fight, but don’t do it in a place where Guides could get hurt or die," Gayoon said, glancing at the young Guide next to Lee Sarang. "Are you still going to fight?"

"No, Oppa," Lee Sarang said, grabbing the young Guide by the arm. "I’m actually on my way to visit Hanjin Oppa with Jaeha. We heard Yuno-ssi was headed there, too."

"Yes, but—"

"Then we’ll go ahead, Oppa," Lee Sarang said, cutting Ki Gayoon off. "See you later."

Just like that, Lee Sarang and the young Guide walked past him.

Matthew tried to follow the two, but Gayoon blocked his way.

"Stay here and cool your head," Gayoon said sternly before turning his back on Matthew. He then followed Lee Sarang. "Lee Sarang, wait."

Lee Sarang, who was waiting for the elevator with the young Guide with her, turned to Gayoon with a bright smile on her face. "Yes, Oppa?"

"You’re one of the few people I allow to cut me off when talking."

"Oh, I’m sorry about that, Oppa. I didn’t mean to..."

"I didn’t say that to get an apology from you," Gayoon said, sighing. "Lee Sarang, even an impatient bastard like me is lenient to you. So, why are you letting an unprofessional Guide walk all over you?"

It wasn’t like he cared that much about Lee Sarang.

But I don’t want Noh Yuno to be involved in Lee Sarang and her exclusive Guide’s business further, so I have to solve it before that nosy punk feels like he has to step up for someone else again.

"I’m not doing this for you," Gayoon said, scoffing. "Just don’t let Noh Yuno see you in a pathetic state again, Lee Sarang."

"IT’S been a while, Hansol Hyung," Yuno said when he was in the elevator with Lee Hansol aka Leehan. "Oh, I’m sorry. It should be ’Leehan’ Hyung now."

Mo Hanjin gave Yuno a death glare.

As if that would scare me.

But Bambi and Ryu Sungbin’s cold gazes scared Yuno.

And you always have the choice to quit if you hate Esper Lee Sarang-ssi that much. Plus, you put the Civilians at risk by letting your Esper reach her breaking point when you could have prevented it—"

"Guide Noh Yuno-ssi, you talk too much," Bambi said, cutting off Yuno’s yapping quite rudely. "Kindly shut your mouth and just do what you came here for."

"Yes, sir."

"Mo Hanjin, stop resisting as well," Ryu Sungbin said coldly. "I’ll kill you myself if you stop being useful as a Guide."

That was a scary threat.

No wonder Mo Hanjin turned pale. "Y-Yes, Hyung-nim..."

Ryu Sungbin then turned to Yuno. "Fix him now, Noh Yuno."

"Yes, sir," Yuno said, placing his hand on Mo Hanjin’s chest— above the area where his heart should be. "This is going to be a bit painful, so brace yourself, Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi."
