Yuno was amazed by Ki Gayoon’s ability.

They were now back at the Private Guiding Room where they were supposed to be.

It’s like a teleportation skill.

"Noh Yuno, why didn’t you tell me you’re hungry?"

Yuno was confused at what Ki Gayoon said at first, and then he realized that his stomach was rumbling loudly. "Oh, I just realized I’m hungry."

Ki Gayoon knitted his eyebrows. "Are you dumb? How can you not notice that you’re hungry?"

"Why are you upset?"

"You’re worse than babies when it comes to taking care of yourself. At least, babies cry when they’re hungry. But you just stand there with a dumb look on your face even though your stomach is grumbling."

"Again, why are you upset?"

"I’m your Esper, so that means you’re my responsibility now."

"It’s true that we have a contract, and I appreciate you taking care of me, Hyung— but I’m still my own person," Yuno said firmly. "Just because I didn’t realize I was hungry doesn’t mean I’m not taking care of myself."

I already expected Gayoon Hyung to turn this way after our first intimate Guiding Session, but it’s still kinda annoying.

It was normal for an Esper to be obsessed with their Guide, especially after having sex.

I hate using this term, but most Espers are like alphas and they see their Guides like their omega.

But, to be honest, Yuno didn’t expect that Ki Gayoon would turn alpha-like.

"Gayoon Hyung, I’m not your omega," Yuno said firmly. "That’s a different genre."

Ki Gayoon knitted his eyebrows, obviously confused. "What the fuck are you saying? Omega? Different genre?"

"I’m just saying that Hyung should stop obsessing over me."

"Me? Obsessed with you?" Ki Gayoon asked in disbelief. "Are you crazy? I’m just trying to keep you alive because I need you as my exclusive Guide!"

"That still counts as obsession, Hyung."

"Then am I supposed to let my exclusive Guide die a dumb death?!"

Yuno covered his ears with his hands. "Ahjuhyung, I don’t like being yelled at."

"You...!" Ki Gayoon abruptly stopped when it looked like he was about to raise his voice again. He then paused for a moment before letting out a sigh. "I wasn’t yelling at you."

"But you were."

Ki Gayoon glared at him, and then he sighed again before dropping it and changing the topic. "Let’s just have dinner before we go home. What do you want to eat?"

Hyung is acting like tsundere again, so let’s make his life a bit difficult as revenge.

"I’m craving sashimi from Busan, Hyung."

Ki Gayoon looked surprised. "Does it have to be from Busan?"

"Yes, because I want to eat sashimi by Haeundae Beach," Yuno said, dropping the hands that covered his ears earlier. And then he pulled his phone out from the pocket of his jeans. "I wonder if I can book a car at this hour—"

"Why would you book a car when I’m here?"

"But Hyung has work tomorrow—"

"Let’s go," Ki Gayoon said, turning his back on him. "You’ll die from hunger if you don’t eat before we get to Busan, so let’s have dinner first."

Yuno nodded, following Ki Gayoon while hiding his smirk. "Yes, Hyung."

I’ll make you drive for hours as punishment for yelling at me, Ahjuhyung.

After Yuno and Ki Gayoon came out of the Private Guiding Room, they were escorted by Ryu Sungbin and Bambi to Chief Kim Munhee’s office.

Moon Noa was already there.

To be honest, Yuno expected that he’d be punished quite heavily.

Plus, I’m sure Team Leader Bambi-ssi won’t let me guide the Top 5 Espers anyway.

"That’s bullshit," Ki Gayoon, who remained silent until that moment, scoffed. "Why would I share my exclusive Guide to those bastards—"

"I understand, Chief Kim," Yuno said, raising his voice a bit while elbowing Ki Gayoon’s side. "Thank you for your generosity. I promise to be on my best behavior from now on."

Ki Gayoon turned to Yuno. "You little rusty shit—"

"Yes, Hyung. Let’s go and visit Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi," Yuno said, grabbing Ki Gayoon by the arm and dragging his Esper out of the Esper while bowing to Chief Kim Munhee. "I’ll go and give back Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi’s ability now, ma’am."

Chief Kim Munhee. "Yes, and thank you for taking Esper Ki Gayoon-ssi with you, Guide Noh Yuno-ssi."

"WHAT do you think you’re doing, Esper Matthew?"

Kim Jaeha opened his eyes when he heard the familiar voice. "S-Sarang Noona..."

Yes, it was Lee Sarang who literally stopped Matthew from hitting Kim Jaeha.

A "rope" made of ice was wrapped around Matthew’s wrist, and Lee Sarang was holding the end of the "rope."

Matthew knitted his eyebrows. "And what do you mean by that?"

"I’m not sure, but I know I hate myself for turning a blind eye every time you abuse your Guide," Lee Sarang said, and then she turned to Kim Jaeha with an apologetic smile on her face. "Come here, Jaeha-ya. I heard Yuno-ssi is headed to the infirmary to treat Hanjin Oppa. Would you like to come with me?"

That was no brainer.

Jaeha nodded eagerly, and then he ran towards Lee Sarang.

Matthew tried to grab Jaeha, but Lee Sarang threw a giant ice cube at Matthew— causing the male Esper to back off.

"Do you really want to fight me that bad, Lee Sarang?"

"Matthew Oppa, I practically grew up with you. Of course, I wouldn’t want to fight you. So, let’s not do this," Lee Sarang said in a calm yet firm voice. "Would you really like to know if you could drain the air out of my lungs faster than I could drain water from your body? What do you think will happen if I make your blood thicker to slow down your movement?"

"Hah!" Matthew smirked bitterly. "Did the fact that you’re the #2 Esper in the country get to your head already, Lee Sarang?"

"I’ll survive being blasted by Oppa’s wind. But can Oppa survive being frozen in a block of ice?" Lee Sarang retorted. "Oppa, there’s a reason why I’m the #2 Esper and not you."

"Lee Sarang!"

Jaeha flinched when Matthew’s Mana suddenly spiked up at the same time a strong gust of wind surrounded his body— causing a mess in the room.

In fact, Jaeha thought he was going to be swept away by the wind.

But, fortunately, Lee Sarang stood in front of Jaeha protectively.

The room then started to get cold as thin layers of ice began covering the floor and the walls.

"Oh, are you fighting?"

Both Matthew and Lee Sarang’s Mana dropped when the (unofficial) #1 Esper stepped in the room.

Jaeha gulped and looked up at the man.

Esper Ki Gayoon-nim really looks scary even though he’s handsome...

"If you’re going to fight, then do it outside," Ki Gayoon said threateningly. "If the building collapses because of you and my Guide gets hurt accidentally, I’m going to kill both of you."

Oh.

Did Esper Ki Gayoon-nim stop the fight for Yuno Hyung’s sake?

Jaeha thought his Noh Yuno Hyung was lucky to have a beast-like Esper wrapped around his finger.

Yuno Hyung, you’re amazing for being able to tame Esper Ki Gayoon-nim.

Unbeknownst to Kim Jaeha, it was Noh Yuno who sent Ki Gayoon there as if he was sending a P*kemon to stop a fight.
