Chapter 172: The Grand Duke Heirs

Eros had decided to visit this gathering of families by himself.

And so he sneaked into the territory of the meeting. Even though the place was well defended and the guards had their eyes peeled, it was a walk in the park for him.

the guards in this place were a combination of royal guards, and some guards from the Three families of the Grand duke. This was something that Eros easily noticed from the uniform that they wore and the insignia on their chests.

After a bit of maneuvers, he was finally able to make it to the main tent. Luckily, he had come at exactly the right time, before the meeting was to begin.

This was a huge colorful tent. It stood out of the forest and winter white like a sore thumb.

The inside of this place was well decorated and blessed with a range of beautiful ornaments. It did not look at all like these people had come for the war of a dungeon, but rather for a party reserved for nobles.

Soul energy had been used to make the inside warm and cozy. It had candles and chandeliers, all expensive, and held at different corners with gold and silver stands.

The carpets were good to the touch, red, and proof of nobility and wealth.

Eros noticed that the gathering had four main seats above and a gathering of other seats below.

The seats above belonged firstly to the representative of the royal family, then the other three seats was reserved for the members of the three Grandduke families.

While the chairs below was meant for other representatives of noble families such as Earls and dukes.

In this gathering, they was no one that was of below the ranking of an Earl Family.

Meaning this meeting and the information to be shared here was strictly meant for those that were of influence enough to shake the kingdom.

The guests arrived taking their seats.

And then, those representing the Grand duke families also entered and took their seats. Each one, a grand annocement of their status was made before they sat.

"William, son of Grand Duke Icemake of the Six Winged Phoenix Family"

"Violet, Granddaughter of Grand Duke Saul of the Fanged Earth Tiger Family"

"And Luke, Son Inlaw, of Grand Duke Isaac of the Three Legged Crow family."

As these important people walked up to their seats, they were many that whispered amongst themselves. This included a few of the guards of the families present.

Every name was one of power within the Almace Kingdom. But it was not the name of the individuals itself that carried power but rather what they stood for.

Then again, occupying such a position was no easy matter. Each one by right of representation in this meeting was an heir to the Grand duke they served.

All of them were of course connected by blood, as it was the requirement for passing the Grandduke title. All of them except Luke.

Therefore, it was easy to see that the mission to bring the Anchor stone had been given to this generation of possible future title holders as a test of sorts.

As they walked through, whispers of them and their achievements flew in the air.

Eros masked by the shadows created on the walls listened attentively.

William was the oldest one. He was a man in his late thirties. He was a very tall man with a fit frame. His armor about his body looked as if it was molded according to his fit muscles. He had dashing black hair. Not long and not too short either.

A scar ran across his face that gave an extra fierceness to his nature.

Rumors had it that in his family, to inherit the position of grandduke meant to fight to the death. He once had seven siblings. Not one of them remained alive.

Whether it was by funny means or by combat to the death. He had triumphed over all his siblings. His position as of this moment was one that was without question.

Naturally, he was a hot cake for women. Even though he already had six wives, he still had many throwing themselves at his feet.

The next was Violet, Known as one of the Flowers of the Almace kingdom. this was both because of her beauty, brains and the capability she had in battle.

Even though she was the grand child of a Grand duke that had children who were alive, she was somehow the heir to the grand duke title.

Just as her name suggested, her hair was a long beautiful Violet color, a trait she was born with. All other members of her family including her Grand father only had traces of the color in their hair. Of course, this was a bloodline attribute.

And Violet had the purest in the entire history of the Family. Her bloodline was not the only reason for her inheritance. Just the look in her dark beady cunny eyes, and one would realize that she was not one to be messed with.

She did not wear any armor, but instead dressed like a lady, however, a long sword rested on the side of her waist.

lastly, they was Luke. He married into the Three Legged Crow family. They were many that thought him to be a lucky son of a bitch and envied his position, and they were many that thought that he was a very shameless man.

Nevertheless, he was honored to seat on the high table. Of course, the other heirs looked down at his position. But he had a shameless smile on his face as he took his seat.

And then at the head position, left for the royal family, she made her entrance into the venue.

The moment she entered, all the others stood to their feet. It was not just the fact that the person that entered represented the royal family, but because she had so much more achievements under her belt that rising to their feet was the only other option than bowing down...
