Genius Noble With System
Chapter 98: Talking Cat(Part-2)

Chapter 98: Talking Cat(Part-2)

"But how could you be a Beast General?" Apollo was shocked beyond belief that such a tiny, cute, yet cocky white cat could possess such strength.

"What’s the fuss? I have been the most talented and handsome mighty white tiger since the beginning. So why is it surprising that I can talk before becoming a Beast General?"

"Meow! This is normal with my supreme talent and wisdom, so suck it," the white cat said, lying on the bed with a tone that practically invited a beating. Apollo controlled his urge to strike the little creature, still unsure of what the cat was truly capable of.

He looked carefully at the white cat, but no matter how hard he tried, it appeared to be just an ordinary cat. He couldn’t help but be surprised at how well it could hide its aura and strength. Whatever means it used were truly extraordinary.

The white cat noticed and smirked, "Stop staring. I know I have an irresistibly handsome feline face and charm. If you want to become my servant, it won’t be easy. Many talented and strong beings—whether they were beasts, humans, elves, or spirits—have tried to serve me, but only a few have caught my eye."

Apollo’s face twitched upon hearing the cat’s words. This was the same cat that had followed him, yet it dared to claim that Apollo wanted to become its servant—the servant of a small white cocky cat.

If it had been a female that could transform into a beauty, he might have glanced at her a few times. But the cat in front of him was clearly a male—and an annoyingly cocky one at that.

It’s a wonder he didn’t thrash that cat and toss it into the cage of monstrous dog beasts, if not for its mysterious abilities and origin.

"Stop talking nonsense, and tell me who you are and why the beasts of the Thousand Mountain Forest are trying to find you."

He didn’t entertain the white cat and asked the important question directly.

"Come on, relax. It’s nothing serious. I just ran away from home because it was boring. It’s only temporary; they’ll go back after a few days of searching."

The cat lazily yawned, as if this were a small matter and not important at all.

Hearing this, Apollo didn’t believe it. He thought of many reasons: maybe the cat had stolen something, killed someone, or even peeked at a tigress taking a bath. But in the end, it turned out to be a soap opera drama about running away from home. Instead of a princess, it was a small cat with balls and narcissism syndrome.

"Are you sure it’s just that and nothing else?" Apollo asked to confirm, although it was difficult to believe. There weren’t any other sources, and even if he wanted to catch this cat, he had a feeling it would be difficult.

"Yeah, yeah, sure. How many times do I have to tell you?" The white cat replied annoyingly.

He was still annoyed by such a carefree answer, but he held it in and asked the next question, "Then tell me why you followed me here. What is the reason? Answer truthfully."

"Hmm, nothing special. I felt a peculiar aura around you that made me interested. I didn’t have any particular destination, but your appearance piqued my curiosity."

The white cat said this without revealing too much and without disclosing the entire truth, but it pointed out the reason for following Apollo.

"Hmm." Hearing this, Apollo also started to think about whether it was true and what kind of aura the cat noticed. Did he feel his half-demon god form’s aura or something else?

It couldn’t have noticed his system, right? But he quickly dismissed that thought, as the system was so powerful that it devoured a god with ease. Although this kitty cat was mysterious, it was nowhere near god-level.

"Are you really thinking this is your place, and you can follow me and bring your troubles along?" Apollo was frustrated. He didn’t know what to do with this cat. Should he ask for the master’s and old man’s help? Maybe then they could catch it, even if it had some ability to escape.

The white cat seemed to understand Apollo’s thoughts and said a few words to relieve him, as he was considering staying for some time to find the connection between the kid and the primordials.

"Kid, you are lucky. With me here, you will be able to learn and know many secrets of the Rion. I can even take you to secret places full of treasures that you would have never seen in your life."

"Hmm, treasures? What kind of treasures?" Apollo’s interest was piqued as he heard this.

"What kind of treasure do you want to find? Tell me. I know countless hidden places filled with extraordinary things and resources that many kingdoms would salivate over, knowing just one or two."

The white cat proudly said this, as if it knew many secrets about everything.

"Do you know of a place that has treasures related to alchemy, like puppets or skyships?" Apollo asked as he was quite interested in alchemy-related items, but it was difficult to find anything about them.

As for other things, he didn’t seem to have much need for them. Whether it was resources or weapons, he already had quite a good collection.

"Oh, alchemy? Yes, I do know about a place that seems to have the ruins of an alchemy kingdom." The white cat felt a bit surprised as Apollo asked about alchemy, but after going through his memories, he remembered a place that met the kid’s expectations.

Apollo was surprised, as the white cat seemed to really know about a secret place with hidden treasures. Since he couldn’t get rid of it, he could only accept it. Let’s just see who finds out more about each other’s secrets.

"Oh! And don’t tell anyone about me, not even your master. The fewer people who know, the better for us, as I am not a usual Divine Beast White Tiger."

"Divine Beast White Tiger, really?" Apollo felt doubtful. No matter how he looked at it, the cat seemed like a domestic feline. Even when the cat claimed to be a tiger, Apollo had his doubts. But now that it was saying it was a Divine Beast White Tiger—and not an ordinary one even among divine beasts—it seemed utterly unreal.

"Come on, don’t lie. Aren’t you just some mutated cat beast who somehow awakened wisdom?" Apollo said teasingly, as the cat didn’t look anything like a majestic Divine Beast White Tiger.

"It is my hidden form, as it is easier to move around like this. Otherwise, if I transformed into my true form, you might sh*t your pants. So be grateful that I, the mighty White Tiger King, am taking care of your weak ass."

The white cat said proudly, as it looked at him as if it were helping him.

Apollo didn’t have any words to say to this narcissistic cat and could only admit his bad luck since meeting it.

"So, since you’re going to live here and follow me, what should I call you?" he asked.

"Good question! Call me Mighty, the Great Lord Ruler of Divine Beasts, the Destroyer of Worlds, the Most Handsome King that made countless tigresses wet and crazy, the Annihilation King!"

The white cat proudly introduced his name, but it made Apollo’s face twitch, sensing that the cat couldn’t stop its bullsh*t.

"That’s too long. I’ll give you a simpler name that matches your nobility and status as a divine beast."

"Oh! Tell me, mortal kid, what name do you think matches my charm and power?"

"You should be called ’Pussy King,’ the divine being that is the king of all pussies."

Apollo smiled with a devilish grin as he named the annoying white cat.

The white cat heard it but didn’t feel the name was good, and Apollo’s evil grin made him uncomfortable. Just as he was about to say something, Apollo left, grinning.

"Take rest, oh great Pussy King," Apollo called back, leaving the cat in a state of annoyance.

He didn’t look back but went to his room, thinking about the words the white cat had said and its extensive knowledge of various secrets. It could be very helpful, but he couldn’t be sure of its motives, given its annoying personality.

Time passed, and the next day arrived. The city, which was once flourishing with hustle and bustle, had become gloomy with tension. Today, a group of elders and leaders were going to the Thousand Mountain Forest to discuss the closure of the forest and the various attacks on hunters nearby.

A group of mysterious and powerful individuals had gathered in the hunter guild.

"I’ve left it to Elder Solaris to decide what to do according to the situation," a middle-aged man with red hair and a mighty, burning aura said, addressing the group of ten people who were preparing to talk with the beast generals.
