Suddenly, they sensed a dangerous aura rising above them, as thunderous magic echoed throughout the arena.

An unleashed power made their skin crawl.

’A Master-Rank Soul Mage,’ Elliot thought, turning abruptly.

Then he saw a huge, strange cloud that had formed across the arena, and lightning began to strike.

"World of Falling Lightning." As these words left the Soul Mage’s mouth, lightning began to strike his enemies.

Elliot and the others were forced to jump aside, but Rich, Andy, Philip, and Andrew didn’t have time to do so. All four were struck fiercely by the lightning bolts.

With quick and effective movements, the Control Mage not only trapped them with vines but also literally knocked three of them to the ground, forcing them to endure successive magical attacks.

It was just then that they saw Elliot.

When everyone seemed to be in shock, a shadow emerged from the impact site and rushed forward with force to strike the Control Mage. He was hit squarely from behind, causing his mind to immediately disconnect from his body and fly through the air until he hit one of the walls, knocking him out of the fight.

’Impossible. The attack obviously hit him. How can he be unharmed? What the hell did my lightning strike then?’ He felt his body tremble, for this made no sense.

Even so, he acted quickly. "Damn it, if you dodged one, you won’t dodge another attack!" He roared, but this time he withdrew his magical ability and focused on launching lightning attacks from his position in all directions.

Elliot quickly thought of running towards him, taking advantage of the advantage he had right now.
